Imagine getting elected by running a "I'll get Trump" campaign and then concocting some furtive and obscure prosecutorial scheme alleging "a planned, coordinated, long-running conspiracy to influence the 2016 election" and relying on Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels as your star witnesses with questions such as "if she felt anything "unusual" while having sex with Trump".
