No lie - been there.

Never seen my lady move as fast as when the sun was setting and we would be in the woods in the dark.

Nah it's enough with my dog who is part beagle. we can't even let him off the leash or he's gone. most of the time he sticks to the trails but there are plenty of times I'm trying to untangle him from getting himself wrapped around a tree.

Depends how I'm feeling.

Last woods walk I went with a 35lb ruck.  Since the paths are hilly and rocky, it's a good trip.  If I feel I've put in the work already for the week, I'll just walk it.
