I totally support this challenge, but based on the DL "contest", entries will be few and far between. Apparently, most Getbiggers prefer posting their rep count to actually showing you their rep count. Either that or videocameras aren't available nationwide as of yet!

Does Magoo's lift count? Can my ass touch the ceiling? Can I bounce? Can I do 'em like Dennis James? A little help here...

Magoo posted another video where his ass didnt come up so he is credited with 20 reps.

Yes, the DL contest may have been too heavy. 405lbs would have had more entries. I think that 225 is something almost everyone on this board can do so more people SHOULD enter.

No bounce. No ass on ceiling. No half reps. We have judges who will count the number of "good" reps.

Everyone needs to remember that you must do something to identify yourself in your vid. Say your screen name or write it on paper and show it on the vid.

MM i am aiming for summat similar to yourself. Tho i will be doing it after my flat benching on friday. 290lbs 5x5 paused

but i dont know what i iwll get with 225. Could be 15 could be 25 play by ear.

you're guaranteed a spot so far. i've got 20 and L4S has... five. i did my 20 without a spotter and without really pushing, i'm pretty sure i could hit 25 again. i've done it before.

Ok, i'm thinking seriously about this now considering the prizes. Whens the deadline? I gotta find a camera that records digital so I dont' have to fart around with VHS tapes and what not.

Vids must be in before June 1st. Check the rules so your vid isnt DQ'ed.

Yeah, it was a wedding gift in 2000. I haven't found a digital camera I like that I think is really worth the money becuase about the only time I use it is for videotaping animals at work. I typically use remote cameras for that anyway, which go directly to a DVR.

I'm a bit behind the times in terms of personal video cameras

most cheapy digital snapshot cameras take short videos. i picked up a canon SD1000 for $150 and that's what i've filmed everything with thus far.

Yeah, but the video isn't worth a shit--its all grainy. I've got a cannon A530 and an olympus C4000. The Olympus takes great still photos, but the video sucks in my opinion.

honestly it's not that bad. if i could upload the fullsize video you'd be surprised.

this challenge is going to get REAL hot REAL fast after all this progress..what i don't get is why don't people just ENTER and no worry about where they place and see where they fall? there's no risk..no entry fee..nothing.just make a video and see how you do!

Don't BB bench much anymore, just stick the gay DBs mostly now. Trying to save the shoulders for when I get into old age.

But if you'd accept DB pressing the 125's for around 25 reps, I might enter (seriously).
