A ridiculous crime was committed on Saturday by a shameless individual, or likely 2 or 3 tough guys, who decided it would benefit mankind by tearing up the lawn of a 93 year old woman with their dual axle truck. By the way, this incredible woman still mows her own lawn and had just completed it hours before.
If only they could see the disappointment on the face of this incredible woman when she arrived at church Sunday morning, shortly after discovering their “artwork”. There’s nothing like discovering that you have been violated on your way to restoring your faith in mankind.

Last night at the gym I saw a guy trying to bench 500 pounds.  As he was struggling to finish his rep, his spotter started to help, and the guy said "I got it!"  He then racked half the bar while the other half almost fell on his chest.  They had it racked as I was running to help.  This man was a hair away from death IMO.   :-\

Today I saw a guy walking on the beach smoking a cigarette.

500 pounds??!!  That is the load limit for a statndard pickup truck!  People forget that it is human tissue against iron.

Paul Allen's Yacht "The Octopus."  Currently docked in Honolulu harbor.  He came here for the Pro Bowl.  Tough life this guy leads.

In 2003, the launch of Paul Allen's 127m (416ft) "Octopus" secured its number one position as the world's largest yacht.

Microsoft's "accidental billionaire" Paul Allen - worth US$20 billion according to Forbes, the third richest man in America and 7th in the world - owns two other monsters yachts such as Tatoosh ranked 3rd in the World in 2003.

Octopus cost Allen over US$200 million and has Permanent crew of 60, including several former Navy Seals. It has two helicopters, seven boats, a 10 man submarine and a remote controlled vehicle for crawling on the Ocean floor. The submarine has the capacity to sleep eight for up to two weeks underwater.

On average, owners must spend a minimum of 10 percent of the purchase price every year to keep these yachts in good working condition and cover crew salaries. Therefore “Octopus” which cost Allen US$200 million requires a US$20 million annual budget.

Download The Octopus Powerpoint Presentation Here. This file is a 3.3mb file size, complete with nearly 50 slides of this awesome yacht. In order to see the file you must have powerpoint on your computer.

If the file doesn't load it probably means that we have exceeded the allowable bandwidth for the month, sorry, these are popular files.

And just in case the above doesn't give you the right idea, click here to download the Powerpoint presentation of Roman Abromavich's two yachts, M/Y Pelorus and M/Y Le Grand Bleu. Again, in order to see the file you must have powerpoint on your computer.

Man I bet that was awesome to see.  I remember going to Hooters there and Rod Stewarts yacht was there.  It was awesome too.  Make the largest private owned Hawaii yacht pale in comparison.  I think it is only 126' or something like that John B. owns it.  I like his 46' SeaRay he had better.  I liked staying on this one for a few days.  It is the Candida and was originally made for Henry Ford back in 1924 I think.  Awesome yacht but really pales in comparison to these mega-yachts.

No.  The Big Island came to me.  This is the worst I've ever seen it.  It has engulfed the whole state.  I couldn't see the mountains or much of the ocean from my office.  Could barely see the airport.  I'm not even sure it's this bad in L.A.  It has been this way off and on for weeks now.

At lunch I saw a woman paking her groceries while her baby was in the stroller beside her, when she turn the wind had blown the stroller and the baby halfway across the parking lot (Yes I helped her my motivation, retrieve the baby and stroller).

I saw two geese and their goslings as I walked back into my place of employment (the Geese hissed at me).

Have you ever hiked to the lighthouse at Makapuu.  I used to almost every weekend.  I went around once on the cliffs and almost got stuck and my friends were going to call the Coast Guard to come get me.  I was way out there on a very small ledge.  Plus we got inside the lighthouse.  Check the sign in book.  I think I signed it Mickey Mouse.  but can't remember.  I love that place too.  But I love Vegas too and will be coming back in July for a couple weeks.  I will be staying at my ex's out in Portlock so we can get together to have lunch.

The road going around the backside through Alan Davies have you ever hiked down to the tide pools.  Remember the begining of movies they had the very hawaiian theme song and intro for Consolidated.  They were down by those tide pools.  They are really great.  Some of them are 10'+ in depth and 50 years long.  When a big wave comes in it flood the pool.  Plus there is a really good blowhole down there.  great hike just to get down there.  Not sure what they call them.

Hike down don't take the mules.  It is really quite an experience and absolutely the prettiest place in earth.  When I was there there was still 53 people living there I think they were paying the government $1 a year for there land lease.  the church that Father Damien built was very surreal.  Some of the stories the guy tells are just horrible.  It was funny because he knew exactly who I was as did just about everyone else there.  Back then I had a few commercials playing at the same time and mostly during UH games.  They always go to the local bar to watch the UH games together.  Gotta go you will love it.  Bring a camera and video camera.  The hike is stunning.

Cause it isn't all downhill.  It goes up and down in some places plus the trail is almost all small rocks so you have to watch every step.  The hike up is 1000 times harder but even going down it is hard.  I have video somewhere of it.  I had to take it so I could show people but I don't know where it is at.

no way it is 1200 years old.  In some places it is not more than just a couple feet wide straight down.  They stopped doing the mules for awhile because of safety but I think they restarted it.  You can also fly in.  The guy I am with was the head guide there.  You meet at a small area where they had cattle and he picks you up in 1960's school bus.  Have you hiked to the Lighthouse (Makapuu) from the other side near that little parking lot overlooking the Makapuu as you go left around the mountain down to Sea Life Park.  That is cool too.  There is a couple old WWII pill boxes up there you can go in.
