Well, I am a natural bodybuilder that has been training for 4 years (2005-2009). Those are some pictures that I took last year in June28, 2008. I am 5”8 and I weighed almost 160 Ibs (in the pictures). I have never competed in my life even though I wish to, but unfortunately here in my country there is no NATURAL COMPLETIONS and ALL competitors here are using steroids. I want to have your honest opinions about what you see in my pictures.

Regarding my delts, I may have good front and rare delts, but my side delts I think it doesn’t match the front either the rare.
You know what..? Actually now I am on a diet and right now I weigh almost 180Ibs with good condition, I still have 7 more weeks to go and then I will show you my new improvements

I do agree with you regarding my hamstrings I have them but I have no separation in them since my condition is reached “NATURALLy”
Hopefully, after 7 weeks I am going see some separations in them.

Ditto. Some are blessed with all the genes, yet never make any use of them let alone push themselves to their full potential. Good genetics make some people lazy in the gym.
Good luck in the big bad world alnassak! Plenty of guys here online would literally 'kill' to have your structure, so don't take it for granted.

I eat 8 meals a day 5 of them are solid food and the rest 3 are protein powder. I am sure that you haven’t read the subject before you enter here and write your comment it says “Only for NATURAL BODYBUILDERS” ;)

you have a good quality physique. the only thing you are lacking is size. it takes time to get big, but keep at it and I think you'll reach your goals.
good conditioning for someone who doesnt compete though. not many people here have ever dieted, so good job on being able to diet down.
Thanks a lot brother, you are right I need some more size, but you know that natural bodybuilders are struggling to gain quality muscles mass :'(
Thanks again for praising my condition, actually now I am on diet again and I am about 180Ibs right now and I am planning to have more defined look this time. ;)

Your upper body looks very good...Your lower not so much. However, with 2012 closing in and the end of the world as we all know it. I would not put on to much more weight...You have a great running physique...With the up and coming World War that is around the corner there is no need to build massive legs that can't run for miles at a time...Godspeed my brother and take it easy on us westerners when the shit hits the fan ;)

I can see people who have achieved as much as possible as a natural, and then juice to be competitive on a pro level, but most people havent even scratched the surface of their natural ability because they dont work hard enough or smart enough.
tbombz "candidizzle" is a good example of this. he mentioned he had started taking drugs, but what did he achieve as a natural before juicing? Nothing. He just tried to take the easy way out, and will probably only achieve a mediocre physique at best even with the drugs because he lacked the natural physique before taking them.

I got addicted to training for size for a long time. Now I never reached your "level of lean", but I was good for an endomorph. Only way I began puttin on size is when I upped the calories and lessened the cardio (simple stuff as you already know); unfortunately for me I enjoyed the extra food and lack of cardio way more than I planned to.

Yeah, I think my body responded to a combo of hitting the legs consistantly and incorporating deadlifts on the training end, and then just eating a ton of carbs, and doing things I never used to do like drinking whole milk with my protein shakes, eating a big meals before bed (which I would never do), so it seems to be working, not to mention I'm taking alot more time off, where as I pretty much worked out 6 days a week and even when I had a day off I would end up doing some sort of physical activity, so I'm venturing into new territory..

Not trying to perfect things, but I'm trying to balance out more, especially in the leg department, I've trained my upper body for years, and I've just started doing legs going on 5-6 months now, but the Mr. GetBig contest has in a way inspired me to try a real competition soon, maybe sometime next year.

Couldn't be more spot on....I achieved 195 lbs. contest shape clean/ drug free....at 6'0. Best I believe I could have done was perhaps 200 with more years of training, and I believe I had some of the better genetics to start with based on my teen bodybuilding accomplishments...

Of course, i am in the comp fase. (Its still a lot for contest prep)
If i need more mass, i would eat way more.
This is the Paco way. More protein,more muscle.

Do you remember Kai Greene from your competitive days in the 90's? I think he competed, trained and dieted as a natural in the NGA/WNBF for a long time - hence, his impressive muscle maturity. I met his smaller self at a Manhattan show back then: an absolute genetic freak. Still, his muscle mass exploded so much in the recent past that I have no problem believing he was natural in the 90's (had some doubts back then).

Well, maybe. Who knows for sure.
His muscle shape was very similar, but compared to the 90's his muscles have grown by a factor of 1.5 - in a very short period of time.

Thanks for the kind compliments. My waist was 28 inches at the time of the cover shoot 8). No I don't remember Kai. I did the first Team Universe in '94 which I don't think he did. If he was featured in Natural Physique magazine I just don't remember. I decided against joining the WNBF and when I did I just stopped paying attention to the coverage. Kai was probably just coming on the scene when I was getting out of the game and turned towards promoting shows. I competed mostly in Florida if that's what you mean by East Coast. I did one show in NY, my first and went to a few which always seemed to have Tom Terwilliger and Jim Quinn as guest posers.

4 Eat only onions and letus as much as you want for carbs!(Thats why you must eat tons of chicken and fish to protect muscle!)
With this diet,there is no hunger. But you are super dizzy.
But your bf level change every day.

Paco was saying that my case is exaggerate and my metabolism is very slow. Thats why i should have dont it.

As far as eating tons of protein like me, the calory intake itself is high and you dont lose your muscle that fast.
When I was doing this shit, I was eating 1kg of chicken breast and 1kg of tuna.
Thats quite a lot of protein for the contest preparation. But that protected my muscle for sure.

Well, I am a natural bodybuilder that has been training for 4 years (2005-2009). Those are some pictures that I took last year in June28, 2008. I am 5”8 and I weighed almost 160 Ibs (in the pictures). I have never competed in my life even though I wish to, but unfortunately here in my country there is no NATURAL COMPLETIONS and ALL competitors here are using steroids. I want to have your honest opinions about what you see in my pictures.

Now I weigh about 80Kg with good condition but not like what I did in that shots, I am 6 weeks away from the finishing of my diet and I hope to bring better condition this them with little size added. :)
Too Bad that I will be ready for Natural competition but we don’t have either. :-\

and they wont achieve much with steroids either...
but understand.. these people you think use steroids to bypass hard training and everything else - dont really exist.
if you take steroids and dont train and keep up with your diet.. guess what? you will not make progress.
the same principles that apply to the natural... apply to the steroid user.
if you want to build a good physique - you MUST put the work in.. steroids or not. the steroids will allow you to take it further... but they are not magic. they simply allow you to keep on gaining... with hard work.. past your genetic limits.
now.. I'll get off of my soap box :)
Some of my friends taking steroids and don’t care about their food intake, sleep about 4 hours a day, drinking alcohol, training for a maximum of 45 mints 4 times a week and their cardio is only a 15 mint session on the bicycle 3-4 times a week AND THEY HAVE GREAT PHYSIQUES WITH GREAT CONDITION AND HAVE COMPETED EVER WON LOCAL SHOWS IN MY COUNTRY.

My friends are training about 45 mints 4 times a week with no cardio vascular training in their offseason, they pack in size wile maintain body fat by the help of the Steroids. When they are getting ready for a show they add a 15 mints session of cardio on the bicycle for 3-4 times a week and their diet doesn’t last long than 4-6 weeks! Brining great CONDITION
As for me as a natural bodybuilder, when I try bulk up I train for 90 mints 4 times a week with some cardiovascular training on my non-training days. Moreover, when I intend to cut down, I set a diet program for at least 12 weeks where I train 60 mints weight training with 90 mints cardio DAILY!!
I am happy of what I am doing since whenever I meet new people they think I am on steroids

Genetics are everything. I will never be a big guy, just because I have been cursed with piss poor genetics. It's all genetics and THEN after that you talk about training, nutrition and steroids.

2. Smith Machine Squats
warm up with 135lbs x 12reps then stretch.
225lbs x 12reps followed by another round of leg stretches
315lbs x 12reps. I usually use a belt from this point on. stretch.
405lbs x 8reps. stretch
455lbs x 6 reps.
3. Leg Presses (usually done on a fixed weight machine cause that’s all I have access to.) For this reason I go strict and deep because your unable to pack on a huge amount of weight.
warm up with 200lbs x 12reps
400lbs x 18reps x 2sets
4. Hamstring Curls.
Lying legs curls. 150lbs x 16reps
One legged leg curls 80lbs x 12reps x 2sets
Lying leg curls. 150lbs x 12reps
5. Calves (Smith Machine)225lbs x 21reps (warm up)
315lbs x 21reps
405lbs x 21reps
I then do giant sets were I repeat the last two working sets one after another twice. example.

yeah you only really need those 2 cause by the time you try leg extensions they're taxed as it is. I used to do leg extensions but if I were to do them I'd have to put them infront of everything just as a warm up and that rather pointless to me. Plus they just don't feel right on the knees when you go heavy.
I just do legs once a week and I've been doing it seriously for about 9years now.

yeah you only really need those 2 cause by the time you try leg extensions they're taxed as it is. I used to do leg extensions but if I were to do them I'd have to put them infront of everything just as a warm up and that rather pointless to me. Plus they just don't feel right on the knees when you go heavy.
I just do legs once a week and I've been doing it seriously for about 9years now.
I do agree with you about the leg extensions should be always at the beginning of leg workout. However I do finish with them by using very light weight.. ;)
