Yeah yeah guys, we KNOW the fat slag is full of shit/gravy/cakes, but I found myself reading his journal and saw this delectable nugget:
steady state cardio = 30 mins @ 63% VO2 max/ 115-120 bpm, which is where peak fat oxidation occurs according to studies.

As I'm sure many of you (whom actually train, which counts out salami tits) will know, when we exercise we induce something called 'lacate threshold' which is essentially the point at which the body goes to shit and performance is impaired.
In the trade, this point is known as onset of blood lactate accumulation, or OBLA for short.
So, to recap; when a person whom stinks of dick cheese/is scared to go outside decides to hop on the old exercise cycle (as panda 'obviously' often does) lactic acid circulates and upon reaching a ballpark percent [a quite specifc point for the thrust of this post] of ones VO2 MAX lactic acid accumulation occurs and the above impeding of performance is observed.
So, at this point we need to do ask "ok, but at what percent of VO2 MAX does OBLA generally occur?"
The answer? in ELITE athletes, generally around 70-80% of VO2 MAX (I hope you are one step ahead of me here?...
... in HEALTHY BUT UNTRAINED subjects/non athletes its 50%-60% OF VO2 MAX (this alone is enough to call bullshit on the obese ponce)

Never mind ELITE athletes, there is a significant difference between obese subjects and mere untrained-but non obese subjects! and yes

after i read wave's post that he thinks i made a mistake i looked at my numbers again.
and he was correct, i was in error.
63% of vo2max is where peak fat burning occurs - studies have proved this conclussively.
however i was not working at 63% vo2max, i was working at 63% max heart rate.
so 115-120 bpm is actually only 40% vo2 max :-[ no wonder it was so easy.
i have actually been working at closer to 120-130bpm the past few days as i was finding it so easy at 115-120.
for peak fat burning i should have been working at 140bpm.
i will try this new higher level tonight to see how it feels.
i have updated my log, to reflect this mistake.

My parents were killed in a drunk driving accident when I was a young teen and I have been an orphan ever since . I was an only child and so were they . I got emancipated @ 16 and have supported myself since then . I have been suicidal many times , and addicted to drugs so badly I can't fathom half of what I did then .
I never have been able to get "over " it , I miss them every day and holidays are the worst . I don't dwell on the loss but I never forget it for more than a few hours . You have no idea how many triggers there are during a normal day that are remindful of parents , family , etc.
My father was totally drunk and drove into a concrete barrier @ 65 MPH , there was no signs of braking or swerving to be found . People who drive after they've been drinking are the most selfish stupid people in the world .
I don't think about offing myself anymore , but I wait with anticipation to see them again .

i have been disappointed with things, been a little down at times, but i have this thing called inner fortitude, only weak minds give in.
when things get tough, grit your teeth and try harder. when they get tougher again, you get tougher.
perhaps this is a Scottish trait, we have will power, determination, desire, and imagination.
we do not go running to psychotherapists, we do not turn to medication, we simply get on with things.

The purpose of you posting your pics would be to show that you have at least an ounce of credibility when it comes to building a physique. You keep talking shit about Capt EQ which is absurd because his physique is at least a hundred times superior to anything you've displayed so far. It's just bizarre that given the way you look that you would put down anyone's physique.
BUT everyone hits a low point in their life and your obesity may have been caused by a million different factors. Shit happens. So maybe you've looked way better before. It was also a bit of a shock for those of us who were seriously hardline homophobes who realised in the real world modern day england that those sorts of attitudes were not tolerated. OK guys, this is strange but true. I actually work on Watt Road which is 100 yards from where you claim the Panda lives. This whole area is an industrial estate, there are no residential streets within a mile. There is a burger king right there at the roundabout but i'm sure he doesn't live there. What number on Hillington Road is he supposed to live at? I'll check it out on Monday but I'm sure it's a carpet store or one of the many trade tile businesses on that road.

He posted pics of himself and talked about all the meets he attended and had a great following on the board. One day around 2003 he mentioned that he had been training with former world's strongest man Jamie Reeves the previous weekend. Unlucky for him, Jimmy Thomson had been training with Reeves that past weekend and called him out on it. He emailed Jamie and asked if he know this guy called Viking Power. Turned out the guy was 17 years old and in a wheelchair. Reeves gym had collected money for a pc for him in 2001 and he created a fake personna on the web for him to live out his fantasies. Sad story really. He even had fellow member and former WSM competitor Grizzly Brown fooled who he actually supplied training tips to. After the exposure Grizzly died.
