Anyone else live in So Cali heard rumors about Koloseum gym opening back up? I have been told that old members get in for $15 a month. Anyone hear or know anything?

I trained at koloseum over ten years before it closed and haven't heard anything about a reopening. Who is the new owner? When is it supposed to open? I need details.

I have no idea who is the new owner is. I am going to head down in about an hour to see what is going on. I heard they are already taking memberships. I also used to workout there for the last 4 years before they closed. What i posted earlier is what i heard from another former member, who now works out at golds gym in fullerton.

It is re-opening up. But under the name of true fitness if i remember right. Talked to the owner and also the manager he said its going to the same for the most part..but he is redoing the mens restroom, only going to have db's up to 140 or 160 (cant remember). Taking down all the air brush painting on the walls. Adding more equipment (ie: punching bags, more free weight stuff, etc). Former Koloseum members pay $15 a month, normal dues are $25. They said should be open for business Jan 2.

from what I see Planet Fitness is making money, they charge $10/month and the DBs stop at 60.

it isn't how much you lift it's how much you look like you can lift, bodybuilders do not need 120 pound db's to do any free weight exercise and gain muscle, no top pro etc etc, only power lifters should be concerned.

On April 4th I hired Robert Bernstein, top criminal defense lawyer from Beverly Hills who would take my case and we were making my April 8th court appearance - when he would officially be taken as substitution attorney.
As we agreed, I brought ALL THE EVIDENCE in my car to give it to him for review after the court appearance - never counting in million years what actually have happened next.
My bail was exonerated (!!!!), as my Bail Bondsmen supposedly was afraid that I escaped - even though there was agreed by a judge, my public defender and with Court Order that I was allowed to travel, as long as I make it back for my court appearance) and I was immediately arrested - having about 3 minutes to give keys of my car to my lawyer to take the evidence with him...
I stayed in MAXIMUM SECURITY JAIL, with 23 hour/day lockdown for 148 days...
My lawyer didn't pick up the evidence the same day (for whatever reason?) and by the next day - my car was towed and all the evidence mysteriously disappeared...
On scheduled preliminary hearing neither my wife nor my only witness (13 year old daughter) showed up in Court...
My options were to wait another three months for pre trial...and God only knows how long for actual trial...and I am man enough to admit...Max Security Jail was a daily challenge I wouldn't wish to my worst enemy...so I made my choice.

On July 8th 2010 - Restraining order was issued for 3 years...so I cannot come 100 yards away from her...my wife...all of my houses, businesses...
Around December of 2010 - Judge allowed "peaceful contact" WITH restraining order still in tact...
My daughter supported my decision of being FREE (in Europe) rather than serving time in prison...I hope that makes sense to you, dude...?

The highlighted is what also makes me suspicious. It seems something is always against you, like some conspiracy. Seems like every story you've told it's always someone else's fault, someone did something behind your back that got you in trouble, etc, etc. I'm sorry you wound up in max security that sucks. But you ask what would I have done? First beg my attorney to fight to at the minimum get me out of max security second, investigate what supposedly happen to my evidence and finally third, do EVERYTHING the judge asks me to do. But for fucks sake I wouldn't flee the country and make my problems ten times worse.
Even though you're in europe, you've been in the states long enough to know you still have most of your life here and at some point in your life you're going to have to come back here.

Doesn't matter what your daughter supports or doesn't support what matters is what your daughter is taking away from this. You think fleeing the country and running away is teaching her the right thing? Not my problem, just saying. Okay Milos, lets assume thats true and you did steal what you say is your own money. But here's a question for you. Was the company a corporation? If you were incorporated, by law, you have to have a board of directors, a President, secretary and treasurer. If your wife or anyone else is on that board besides you and you took money from any part of the business without anyone knowing......it's stealing. I could be way off base here but I couldn't think of any other way unless you walked into your own with a mask on and held up your own employees at gun point.

He was done over by his wife and I imagine she is smarter than he gave her credit. She is handling things to make sure Milos has no chance in court. That is why I can state that I will NEVER trust anyone completely, and certainly not a woman. No way. Even those closest to us can betray us in the most ignoble ways.
There is no way to know what the truth is here. If what Milos says is true then corruption exists out there and who is surprised? My advice is to stay out of courts and hospitals and I see no reason to change what I believe. Courts are not about justice but about some game that lawyers play with ex-lawyers who are now judges. Most lawyers cannot be trusted to act in your interest. That much is both fact and certain.

Yes, Vince, I'm quite sure the Fullerton police department and the Orange County District Attorney were in cahoots with Paul Chua and that Asian contest and purposely fucked him in court and he we wasn't responsible for his own actions. They were all in on it, the attorneys, the DA, the judge, the bail bondsman, the bailiff, the law clerk. They had mind control over his actions ::)
I can see IF this were true his wife and possibly a business partner screwing him over but if that were the case he could have hired an attorney (corporate criminal attorney) to investigate and do things the proper legal way. But for what ever reason it took another turn!!

If a woman contacts the police and says a guy is threatening her of course when they come they might find a guy who is emotional because of the circumstances.

On July 8th 2010 - Restraining order was issued for 3 years...so I cannot come 100 yards away from her...my wife...all of my houses, businesses...
Around December of 2010 - Judge allowed "peaceful contact" WITH restraining order still in tact...
My daughter supported my decision of being FREE (in Europe) rather than serving time in prison...I hope that makes sense to you, dude...?

Milos has been playing with fire for to many years to count....he has now finally been burnt, and not on the movie set but in choices he has made with his life.
Many years ago in an interview Milos gave to, maybe it was MuscleMag, he discussed his reasons for coming to live in the US. One of them was freedom to live, work and have a family without fear of political repression as was the case in his home country and surrounding countries.
So for Milos its all great in the US of A until things do not go his way.....with freedom and the green card he was given comes responsibilities and in this case Milos has decided to toss those responsibilities aside for his own personal selfish beliefs and wants.

If Milos cleared out of America it was for a good reason. He wouldn't leave his daughter there and just vamoose. We have to conclude that a jail sentence was unavoidable in the circumstances. If we aren't in his shoes we can't judge him.
Are we supposed to take the word of a bloke who has no name? That is preposterous. Milos was investigated by the DEA a few years ago and they would have found something if he were dealing like you say, in narcotics.
