Steven,

He has impressive legs.  Try to bring up his forearms a bit and see about getting him dry come show time.

For a better analysis, try to possibly post some nude pictures of him for us to better assess his muscle tie-ins at the quad-crotch insertion points.

Other than that, keep up the good work..

Right now I only train him, kick his ass at least twice a week in giant set style.  ;) He's doing his own thing with the diet.

So after 15 years of training and turning pro he realizes he needs another guy to "train" him?

I just said it was a tough training style..I have no clue who else uses it,except for John Defendis and Steve Michalik but that was eons ago.

You can get in great shape using Giant-Sets though.

corect bodyweight mean nothing,, you have some fellas in amatur walk on stage 5'9 190 and look SO GOOD you give them 220 easy,, weight doesnt mean anything unless it is conditioned size,,
ofcourse with his weight...the way he cary it it is conditioned size...btu its also lots of gh and CONSISTANCY ,, this fela know his hormones and know them well

A lot of you guys are thinking of this the wrong way.

Steve and Ben are friends (I assume) and they probably workout more as training partners with Steve dictating the workouts.  I am sure it's a give and take relationship though.  These guys are both pro's and have a mutual respect for one another so they take what each other says seriously.

I train with another member from this site-Dogma-who is much far ahead of me as far as bodybuilding is concerned.  He probably has one of the best amateur physiques on this board:

http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=404924.0

However, when we train, sometimes I decide what we are going to do in the gym that day and he listens to advice I give just as much as I listen to him.  If you want to be successful in bodybuilding, besides the hormones, diet, and training, you need to keep an open mind and be forever learning your body.  What if it turns out that Ben Pakulski grows better off giant sets than anything else he has done before that training wise?  It is possible as different methods of training effect different indiviuals in different ways.

My point is, Steve is an IFBB pro, and there is a lot anyone can learn from him and his experiences.  Including Ben and that needs to be respected.  I am sure if someone from this site posted a training method that Steve hadn't tried before and he thought looked good, he'd run right out and try it.

Everyone today just wants to have their hand held.  They want to know what to do, when to do it, and how.  If you want to be a great bodybuilder, learn your body!  Experiment!  Use various training methods.  Experiment with all the hormones you can get your hands on.  Try out as many dieting methods as you can.  Find out what works best for you and then watch how quickly you grow!

I had my trainer put me through a giant set leg workout and I could barley walk up the steps to leave the gym. Its something to do just to change up your training style. its best to always keep the muscles guessing that is how you get more growth.

After 20 years of lifting I arrived at the conclusion that the best method is totrain my whole body in one giant set and repeat for a 3 giant sets total. I like it much more, I recover faster and train 3x week everything. Steve is smarter and figured it out younger. I endorse his method. There is absolutely no point in heavy weights besides getting injured. Stimulate and let it be.

I had my trainer put me through a giant set leg workout and I could barley walk up the steps to leave the gym. Its something to do just to change up your training style. its best to always keep the muscles guessing that is how you get more growth.

you geting more growth from more gh,,you geting less growth from more testosteona without gh ! ,, you getting double growth from both gh and testosterona if primed blood with gh for some time...and THATS when you bring up testosterona doses,,

if you are not a 23 year old fella...you can do all the trainign in the world....and you wil grow minimaly if at all UNLESS gh is in blood ,, especially past 32

what create the growth is body releae of igf...no hgh = no igf...igf need to be high enough to body can start seperate ..aka muscle start seperate ...this is when you see the abdomiin go out and the skin start attatch to it..this is when you see the abdominal wall come together while you are not skinny but thick,,you see it all when igf level rock!,,

hgh is the name of the game for growth ,, yuo can train your legs from morning to evenening nothing wil change UNLESS hgh is in system or if younger ....you better hav egood natural gh

you ever ask yourself why true naturals only get to have 23 24 inches legs on stage and this is in a good! case and in 5'10 height! ,,,they train with such heavy weight ....some of them push 8 plates each side of leg pres strict forms some 10 plates each side...throw up after training lol ,, and thei rlegs is fucking 23 to 24 inches lol on s tage! and still not 5% on stage lolo ,, hav eyou ever asked yourself why?

thikn about it

Giant sets are great if you use a weight that challenges you on every exercise of every rep and set - none of this circuit bullshit you see in M&F but real BB type giant sets - tri sets are brutal to.. love them  8)

I can't really speak to the whole giant setting thing, but you're smarter than this, man!

You know as well as I do that "he's bigger, so he should be the teacher" is pathetic reasoning.  What about all those big dudes Charles Glass trained?  Even though I don't think too highly of him as a trainer -- I loved it when Dorian took the piss out of him, talking about Glass and Dillett "jerking off with useless back training" :D -- every other knucklehead does.

Really, the guy that struggled to build a good physique, especially clean, is the guy to go to for the best training advice.  Asking Matarrazzo how to build arms or calves is like asking a Nigerian how to get as black as he is.  And when hormones enter the picture, there's gH15 and no other.

you know what- im reading this thread, and im thinking- i used to be that guy who busted his ass in the gym- drop sets, 100 rep sets, dogg crapp, etc etc. and i have just realised something this past year- IT DOESNT MATTER.

i get better results now going lighter, chasing a pump, using more cable work, isolating and saving wear and tear on my joints.

im not saying that there isnt a place for this type of training pre contest, but year round i dont see any benefit to it. train light, chase the pump- exhaust the muscle like this and you'll grow and your training will be much more enjoyable and injury free.

the 'realistic' guys have this kind of body dysmorphia- they are usually the biggest guys you'll see, some of the nicest and most humble and hardest working.

yeah, very fucked up. and to make it worse, the guys who think they look great and really look like shit, are a dime a dozen. Theres probably a half dozen guys at my gym who think they are bodybuilders and insist on wearing as little as possible and are desperate for attention- scream on the hammer strength, wife beaters, big water bottle, angry face with vivid eye contact, acne ect.
