The climate change idiots claimed time and time again that the polar ice caps would be almost melted by now.
Yet, ice spread even further this year. ANOTHER PREDICTION OUT OF MANY THAT HAVE NOT SURVIVED THE TEST OF TIME.
When a theory fails this many times, it really is what it is. A HOAX!
You know it is a hoax when its supporters point to hurricanes and tornados as evidence. But when told that there was no increase in hurricane or tornado activity, then they point to higher temperatures as proof. But, then they are slapped in the head with the truth that this year there have been many cold temperature records broken this year and that the earth was actually warmer in the middle ages.
So what do they do. They get on a ship to prove us all wrong and they end up getting stuck BECAUSE THERE IS MORE ICE NOW ON THE EARTH THAN IN RECENT YEARS.
BY THE WAY, that ice was not supposed to be there according to previous predictions made by "climate change scientists".

I don't agree with the anthropogenic global warming theories, although our activities certainly can affect climate, and we should be mindful of that. Nor do I think that we have established that something outside the norm is happening. But it is important to continue studying the topic.
But let's not forget how science works: you collect facts, you postulate a theory that attempts to explain them, you use the theory to make predictions and you see how those predictions match up with what really happens. You then adjust the theory accordingly.

Well dummy, you see there are a couple things you should know before you continue on with your lies. The artic ice sheet is receeding, and doing so rapidly. You see the artic is nothing like antartica, one has land, the other is open ocean, this alters the cimate and global effects on the area. the antartic with teh ozone hole and increased winds etc have done as predicted, the artic has done as predicted.

Now you have less milkshake and I have more, if you where a retard and looked at only one part of the equation, your half you would conclude there is less milkshake overall, however, it's untrue, you have less is all.

I don't think that any serious scientist believed the earth to be flat, especially since around 300BC when the ancient Greeks showed not just that the earth was, in fact, (roughly) spherical, but actually calculated its circumference, with theoretical/philosophical arguments in support of a spherical earth date back to around 600BC.
But even if scientists did once think the earth was flat, so what? Scientists - the real kind, not the ones with quotes - don't claim to be infallible. They observe physical phenomena, formulate theories to explain them and use the theories to make predictions. If the predictions hold, the scientific community gains confidence in the theory. If the predictions don't hold, the theory is either adjusted to account for or explain the discrepancy, or it is abandoned if it cannot be fixed.
That's how science works. Mistakes don't doom science - they promote it, because they cause science to advance.
Not to mention, you know things like electricity, the internet, massive peer review and international collaboration, none of this existed then. error is reduced through quantity.

•Global Sea Ice is 93,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean. That is 0.5% below “normal”
•Antarctic Sea Ice is 706,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean. That is 25% above ”normal”. Antarctic Sea Ice Extent actually rose 38,000 sq km from day 46 to day 47. Minimum could be near.
•Arctic Sea Ice is 799,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean. That is 5.25% below “normal”.

And concerning global sea ice, today it is at near normal levels. Nye cherry-picking the single data-point of September 2012 at the single location of the Arctic is not a persuasive argument – never mind him using the wrong chart.

Temperatures across much of the U.S. are, , finally starting to get back to something close to normal after several days of .dangerously cold air.

According to The Blaze, the heat in Australia "is so severe that it has already caused up to 100,000 bats to die under stress, littering the ground and alarming authorities who warn locals not to touch the animals for fear of infection."
The Perth Now news site says the thermometer will hit 44 degrees Celsius on Saturday. That's 111 degrees Fahrenheit.
This heat follows what already was Australia's hottest year on record — a year that also saw the nation plagued by drought-fueled wildfires.
Folks are sweating in other parts of the Southern Hemisphere, as well.
"Brazil is also sizzling, with the heat index reaching 49 degrees Celsius (120 F). Zookeepers in Rio de Janeiro were giving animals ice pops to beat the heat," The Weather Channel adds.

Global warming or the greenhouse effect is a natural occurrence on any planet that has an atmosphere. That is undeniable
It is not man-made. It is natural. But activities like heavy industry, widespread use of combustible engines and industrial cattle farming increase the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere unnaturally.
The net effect is to gradually, incrementally increase the atmospheric temperature. That results in more moisture in the atmosphere. That results in manic weather patterns and intense storms...just like we've been seeing the last few years. Dry San Francisco winters and giant snowstorms in Georgia.
Unlike dogma, science is always questioning its findings and recalibrating its testing. I don't think you're entirely accurate about the polar ice caps.
