Dude, it's interesting to see what other people are eating ...for some of us. Why don't you start your daily thread about the internal, behind the scenes power struggles and inner workings of getbig? They're riveting. It's not like he is dumping this in other threads. The title makes it clear what it is about.

What are the chances that the getbiggers who do not work out or ever dieted to be angered by my daily diet? hahaha.. priceless

This is bodybuilding: diet, diet, diet. When you master it, you start looking like a bodybuilder. Same goes for the science of training, the science of anabolics and the art of posing.

Bodybuilding is a tri-dimensional art where a genius expresses the Self through self-sculpture if I may use a term where one could identify ITSelf with the body. I consider myself such an artist.

I got so tired of the horrid uninteresting threads started by the non-bodybuilding idiots that I took it upon myself toi inject this forum with a dose of "bodybuilding"...my style

On a funny note: here's "american cofee" here .. an expresso where you add hot water hahahaha.. WTF???

I am eating 100g carbs daily

I have had clients constipated from keto.. you are not the only one with this issue

I think keto is general.. but there are many ways to diet without carbs .. if done properly is a detox for the body

So around 100g grams keeps the digestive system running? Would you still have have benefits because of low carb? I presume you won't get the full ketosis effect?

Can you argue your point? Why is it "more" nutritious to roast or steam considering you basically heat it anyway

When you drain the water in which you boiled the vegetables, you lose water soluble vitamins.

I agree with the steaming method, but roasting?
I always cook my veggies mixed with the rice. After 5-6 mins it starts boiling, so I lower the stove and cook it till 12 minutes. The veggies are still solid and taste OK.

Boiling vegetables is the least nutritious and most tasteless method of cooking them.  Steam them or better yet, roast them.
Same with rice. Rice boiled in too much water is soggy and tasteless.

In this case you could steam the veggies and cook/steam the rice at te same time. Just wash the rice, put 1.5 cups of cold water per cup of rice in the pot. Put a steamer tray on top, lid closed. Bring to a boil, let boil for 10-15 min and turn of heat. Let stand for additional 10-15 min. Now you have nice flavourful dry rice and flavourful crunchy veggies.

Anybody have a good way to prepare collard greens? I've had them frozen in my freezer for months now.
I would make it a stir fry, with some other veggies, herbs/spices and chicken or pork. Perhaps some carrots, sweet pepper, hot pepper, fresh ginger, garlic, spring onion, cubed chicken and a bit of soy sauce. Or add cubes of lean pork and curry powder, and some fresh green apple pieces.

Personally, I love very simple, functional, naturally tasting food. I could not give a flying fuck about "taste".

I set out what nutrients need to go in my body, I prepare them as simple as possible then eat them. And repeat...

Yes vizualizeperfection, did you know that instead of a bland diet you can get ripped preparing delicious tasty meals in oh so many ways? Princess L can show you how to ingest the minerals in brocolli 876.445% more efficient, and Adonis can chime in with his new book "200 ways to cook skinless chicken breast for getting ripped"

Steam or roast the brocoli, and you get a veggie packed with heaps of vitamins and minerals. Boil it, and you void that fucker of everything it has and just ingest some fibers.

I think all these people that you can get ripped eating 2800 calories and 400 grams carbs a day etc.

nobody is willing to eat bland and suffer. its cool.

there is always mega dose t3 and whatnot.

I think if you use Fiji water to boil your veggies you will retain more minerals.

NOW you tell me this?? I cannot find this in Romania. Do you think you can DHL me 400 bottles? I'll pay double it does not matter!

I do not use t3 or ANY fatburners. It's a LOT better trust me. The diet should take care of all the fat.

I used low dose t3, up to 40mcg. I wont do it again, didnt help enough to justify risk.

I think FIJI is more expensive than fucking gasoline!

Boiling isn't going to suck away ALL nutrients. But I throw some science at you, and you mock it.

@bertha butt, I'll try adding collards to a stir fry. Someone told me to cook it using vegetable broth, toooons of spices, and just cook it to death.

just saute them in extra virgin coconut oil...its faster, better, and tastier

We coat them in olive oil, salt and pepper and bake at 425F for 20 minutes.

Can you argue your point? Why is it "more" nutritious to roast or steam considering you basically heat it anyway

Yes, exposure to too much heat, light or air does rob them of some of their nutrients.  Soaking vegetables can rob them of their nutrients since many of the minerals and vitamins found in vegetables dissolve in water. Additionally, the agitation caused by the boiling water can cause the vegetables to break up and the nutrients to evaporate.  If you're going to boil,  let the water boil first and then add the vegetables to cut down on soaking time. Steamed vegetables tend to retain more vitamin C than boiled vegetables.

"let the water boil first"? do you realize I have been cooking as a hobby since I was 19? Like "normal" food... I cook better than you hands down. Great tip Einstein lol .. .. you don't make them mush.. they stay very few minutes in the boiling water and still remain crisp .. then I filter the water through ancient silk I stole from a bhuddist temple in China to gather the very precious molecules of nutrients lost in the water because the brocolli cracked while rocking back and forth and some vitamins might seep through.

I am joking .. thanks for the tips.

It's strange that you should say that. I trained with 2 Romanian guys years ago that said the exact same thing. They don't care about the taste of food, just the goodness it does to them. I think his exact words were 'I feed my body, not my instincts or taste buds'. I suppose that's a different way to look at it. I myself like plain food but with a bit of taste. I've been cooking the same old way for years and prefer it this way. Mix everything into a pan, drop a sauce of taste onto it, bit of salt and pepper and neck it down like that.

Exactly 100g of carbs daily.

interesting "theory" bro but,

Yes, plus an avocado and 20g of olive oil.

100g carbs, 1kg of filet mignon, 500g brocoli and an avocado plus the olive oil

https://www.google.com/search?output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=carbs%20in%20500%20kg%20broccoli&=&=&oq=&gs_l=&pbx=1#q=carbs+in+500+g+broccoli
https://www.google.com/search?output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=carbs%20in%201%20avocado&=&=&oq=&gs_l=&pbx=1#q=avocado+nutrition

35g carbs in 500g broccoli, 12 in 1 avocado

= 47g carbs

"fitness industry measurements" strike again

I swear I only have 5kg to lose before all the abs are out (and I me posting a pic  :D) but the last bit is stubborn as fuck. absolutely, nutritionally speaking.

I have a good friend who uses coconut oil on everything because its "healthy" oh brother, as calorically dense as fucking peanut butter. Id rather eat my chicken plain and then have a bowl of ice cream. It would be the exact same thing.

Teflon is bad. Birds (especially lovebirds) have sensitive lungs and you'll sear their lungs and kill them cooking with Teflon. Pregnant women working in those factories put their fetuses at risk of birth defects, and even the people in the towns in which they are manufactured get health problems.

I still have some nonstick pans...just because they were given to me :/

I/my wife killed my favorite cockatiel because she left a teflon pan on a burner and I thought I smelled something but didnt check it. It was traumatic watching the poor thing suffocate.

I have a conure now. Seems like my birds keep getting bigger.  :D

I pretty much use cast iron pans or uncoated pans now. I still use teflon lined pans for eggs, but thats it. Honestly I find it easier to clean an iron skillet than I do those stupid teflon lined pans anyway. Those things suck. And they peel after a while anyway.

I just bought some walnut oil to cook with. Fairly high smoke point, and very low in saturated fats.

coconut oil was FULL of saturated fats. Im not well versed in fats but it suprised me.

Yeah, the birds sit on the bottom of the cage  :'(

You can't really whip out the steel wool on a non stick pan, so I can see how it may be easier in some ways to clean uncoated pans.
