"Being lazy is a disease....now excuse me while I work out exclusively on Hammer Strength machines"

I never hear truly successful people focus on mere trolls some of who have mental disabilities and disorders. This has become boring honestly to even see this here. It will rile you up and go on 10 pages.
It's old now and the trolls here could care less. He sounds like a spoiled child. Hurr durr everyone worship me and my title.
No wonder more people watch crossfit now. This attitude repels the common fan like the plague literally.

Phil is right. Far as the common fan goes, Ive lost count a long time ago of how many times I've seen my "maybe you should train as hard as you hate" slogan re-posted. From average gym rats to top competitors
Steve Jobs said it best

Just another moron who would not even be close to Mr. Olympia without pumping drugs into his body. Take away the drugs, and hes an average guy with a Bachelors degree making $60K a year.

Your first sentence kills your whole statement. They're all on drugs, so it's a leveled play field.

No it doesn't because I am not comparing him to other bodybuilders. I am comparing his success compared to the average joe. Though the average joe may not be as "successful" they at least do it honestly (for the most part). His whole success is wrapped in a pure lie. Its all an illusion.

That's not accurate , there is NO level playing field , never was , never will be.

How so?
-
How so?
Seriously? genetics for one , some people are just more genetically gifted than others that includes capacity for muscle size , shape , balance , proportion , response to training , response to drugs. Then external factors like having access to the highest quality drugs , food , training , equipment , etc
There is NO level playing field and never will be.

So are they suppose to dock him points because of that? You took what I said too literal. What he does all falls within in the guidelines.

Taunting the people who pay money to see you when it's going to be on national television this year. He's not a teenager. He is in his mid 30s. ::)
It's played out and boring. It was cool the first time he said it and had some shock factor. Now it's old. You won 3 and do this. You just look like a dick who didn't grow up.
Shout out for my haterz. My 13 year old sister says this.
It lines his pockets cool. I don't act like a female when someone makes fun of me and make passive aggressive shitty memes

There are many people who have talked about achieving success. The difference is they sound eloquent when they discuss it. Phil sounds like a 14 year old pissed off teenager.

Absolutely not , I like Phil the guys a winner and will continue to win. Most hate him on this site , I think he's going to dominate for years.

Why are you even on a BODYBUILDING site, spouting this sour grapes stuff?
The average Joe doesn't play college ball on a full-ride scholarship.

But thats not what he is known for. He is known for being Mr. Olympia.
If he was not pumped full of drugs, he would never be Mr. O. He was not good enough to turn pro in basketball, therefore he would have graduated with a Bachelors degree and would have most likely been making average salary. Hardly anyone would know that he got a scholarship for basketball.

You are doing a whole lot of assuming, which holds no weight. And even if Olympia was drug free he'd still have strong odds of coming out on top because with or without ped's genetics are key.

Even if that number were true, my genetic shape and muscle bellies would still show, as would his. So your argument still fails.

Actually, it doesn't fail at all. The drugs are what makes him mr. olympia. Without the drugs, he would not be mr olympia and be known. Thus, not as successful as he claims. Even with good genetics, without ped's he would not be able to develop a physique that would make him famous.
Looks like your argument fails

What you're not grasping is that he would still stand out amongst others if no one had access to drugs. Stop trying to be right and start trying to use logic and facts.

He may stand out amongst the average joe at the beach, but thats about it.
But he would not stand out enough to be known or famous for his physique.

Listen, dodo brain, he is not the champ at anything. His success is based on pure lies. An illusion. Those are facts. His whole motto of "haters," "laziness" and "negativity" are all smoke screens for a deep insecurity that he covers with drug use to try and seem successful.

lol. Who aspires to be successful at abusing drugs so you can parade near naked wearing a thong in front of an audience of schmoes. One man's success is another man's laughing stock.

I'm sure you have a couple thousand post dedicated to Phil alone and I'm not even exaggerating. Why would I go on a motorcycle contest forum if I didn't like motorcycles? How stupid would I look complaining about them everyday?
That's you.

This site isn't devoted to fags in thongs. Some people lift weight for the fitness and strength benefits and don't aspire to be thong wearing drug addicts wasting their lives for a plastic trophy and the adulation of pubescent teenage boys everywhere.
Phil Heath is a deceitful drug addict. What makes him particularly tragic is his lack of shame at his lifestyle and his promotion of it as something meaningful to aspire to.

As E-Kul said, this site is NOT only about bodybuilding. Its also about people who lift weights for whatever reason (stay healthy, get in shape). I dont have to approve of pro bodybuilding to post here, as its a site that is geared toward lifting weights. Lifting weights means different things to different people and does not always equate to pro or competitive bodybuilding.
-
That's the truth right there!
No, its really not. Read the post by Ekul and myself.

You have built up this cognitive distortion in your head that everyone wants to look like a pro bodybuilder. That is incorrect. I am sure the pediatric neurosurgeon at Harvard is not set out to look like Ronnie Coleman. He probably has other endeavors that he chooses to focus on.
I agree that most people would like to have better bodies and be in shape, but most dont want to look like Ronnie Coleman or Markus Ruhl.
I understand that you need to believe that everyone wants to look HUGE because it gives you a sense of mastery over them. Like, you have accomplished something they have not. The fact of the matter is that most people dont want to look like that.
-

My point is YOU KNOW bodybuilders use steroids. So why are you on A BODYBUILDING website complaining about it?
If Heath went ah naturel, he'd probably win some natural shows, make a cover or two, and endorse a modest supplement company......still far from the average Joe.

There you go again assuming things and looking stupid in the process. I have no aspirations to be HUGE and my build looks a lot closer to Arnold's in that pic than to Ronnie or Ruhl's. I bet yours resembles neither of 3.
I have many goals and accomplishments outside of fitness and BB. It just happens that when you're talented at your hobby you can make money off it and inspire others.
People like you, help make getbig what it is. But bashing the folks that actually participate in this sites main purpose is really lame. I have no expectations for it to stop, but what will is the competitors taking part of this board when they could easily chat it up elsewhere among peers that respect them. Not haters who despise them.

Read my and E-Kuls posts on page 2.
You dont have to be into bodybuilding to post here. Lifting weights is just not about bodybuilding, like competitive or pro bodybuilding. You can easily be into health and fitness and lifting weights and still post here.
The title reads, "Getbig bodybuilding, figure and fitness." Thus, one can be into the fitness aspect of lifting weights and not into bodybuilding and still post here.

Either way, some people dont even want to have your build. Some people are just as happy being in shape and healthy. Stop deluding yourself.
Yes, you also look like you do because you take drugs. I have never used steroids or any drug, so naturally I do not look like any of the three. I have no desire to do drugs, like you. However, I am definitely not fat nor am I skinny. I am in good shape for a natural. Some people don't have any desires to pop pills and stick needles in their ass, like you. Sorry that I do not want to do that stuff to get BIG.

I always laugh when drugged up people brag about being bigger than naturals. No shit youre bigger than a natural. ::) ::) Its not really an accomplishment to be bigger than a natural lifter, genius.
My complex? coming from the guy who has to use drugs to be bigger. Talk about a complex lol. :D :D

I felt a great disturbance in the Farce, as if millions of normal people cried out in disgust, "Phil's a joke on drugs!" The truth of the matter is that Phil is a Slin Lord. Darth Gipht.
Darth Gipht is represented here by his sycophants, his Slin Apprentices. And yes, the Farce is strong in Darth Gipht and his manlet minions.
The Farce. That would pretty much sum up Phil and the rest of these liars. Oh...Why then are we here on a board dedicated to bodybuilding if we are so diametrically opposed to Darth Gift and his ilk? Because we actually care about what bodybuilding used to represent - Health. Strength. Living well and for a very long time.
And Darth Gipht? That pussy would be a manlet without the Farce.

As a society if guys like Arod(man with real talent)are going to be looked at as scumbags and brought down, then at the very least society as a whole needs to know the truth about non tested professional bodybuilders who are trying to shake the hands of young children in schools and sports arenas trying to give them positive type speech's when in fact their whole life is a sham. There's a problem when we allow drug addicts who knowing BS people get near the young in the world with false intentions...Bodybuildin g has it's place, and that place is in the shadows where it's always been. Trying to BS people and bring it to the light will only set off the truth seekers in a search and destroy mission...

Giving people motivational speeches, as if the only reason pro bodybuilders got where they are is because of hard work, is falsely leading people on.

Man Phil needs to drop the haters talk. Sounds like a 15 year old. I'm not hating, guessing I'm probably worth as much if not more and I would take Enzo's physique any day over his. Actually I'd take my own over his.

The reason Phil is bashed is because of his attitude. He lives on the fringes of society, abuses drugs and makes a living posing for schmoes in his underwear. The bashing comes because he sells himself as some type of successful role model who has just simply worked harder than the rest of us. You will never hear the TRUTH come from his mouth, that he is a compulsive liar and drug addict and chose a lifestyle that rewards that.

Really?
http://www.ifbb.com/pdf/IFBB_Pocket_Guide_for_Doping_Control.pdf
http://www.ifbb.com/anti-dopingHistory The IFBB first introduced doping controls in 1986 at the Men’s World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. In 1987, controls were expanded to include the Women’s World Championships and, in 1988, the Juniors & Masters World Championships became the final world-level competition to be controlled. By the early 1990’s, anti-doping programs were being implemented at the national, regional and continental levels. Since 1986, the IFBB anti-doping program has been supervised by its Medical Commission and guided by its Special Advisors; internationally renowned experts in the field of doping control like the late Prof. Dr. Manfred Donike (Germany), Chairman of the IOC Doping Commission, and currently, Prof. Dr. Eduardo H. De Rose (Brazil), member of the IOC Doping Commission. In January 1996, a new completely revamped IFBB Anti-Doping Program was implemented worldwide. This program was modeled on the Olympic Movement Anti-Doping Code (OMADC) and doping control procedures employed by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), formerly the Canadian Centre for Drug-free Sport (CCDS), a founding member of the Drug-Free Sport Consortium (DFSC). In January 1998, under then IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch, the IOC granted provisional recognition to the IFBB. In November 2003, the IFBB became an official Signatory to the Code. In 2004, working closely with WADA, the IFBB Anti-Doping Program was amended to conform to the provisions of the Code. In July 2005, the IFBB Anti-Doping Program was amended again and renamed the IFBB Anti-Doping Rules. On November 27, 2005, at its Annual General Meeting in Shanghai, China, the IFBB International Congress officially adopted the IFBB Anti-Doping Rules, which took force and effect as of January 1, 2006. In March 04th, 2008, WADA officially confirmed that the IFBB Anti-Doping Rules were in full conformity with the World Anti-Doping Code.
Scope These Rules shall apply to the IFBB, each Affiliated Federation of the IFBB, and each participant in the activities of the IFBB or any of its Affiliated National Federations by virtue of the participant's membership, accreditation, or participation in the IFBB, its Affiliated Federations, or their activities or events

But the IFBB is anti drugs, it says so on its website, now if he were upholding the values of the IFBB as its figurehead then surely he should be a drug free athlete?
Or maybe it doesnt matter that the top athlete within an organisation that is anti drugs is drug free.
Its like a company testing its staff for rec drugs while the manager is a known drug user.

The blind eye suits every time. The only actual tested O was in 1990 and then they quit. They later started testing for diuretics, Jay failed the test and was disqualified so he got a good lawyer and was going to challenge it in court but the IFBB backed down. If they went before the judge and Jay revealed how clearly they don't test events the IFBB wouldve folded quick. Singling out Phil is pointless.

An organisation who pride themselves in being anti drugs and sing it from the rooftops and test and ban athletes then allow a known drug user to be the public face of that organisation.
Thats not logical.
You belive that to be acceptable, therefore your opinion isnt logical.

A few manuels posted online for legal purposes is hardly singing from the rooftops. Please show me 1 pro who has been banned or tested for peds. Singling out any athletes is opening themselves up for a big lawsuit. And when everyone on your level is using the rule is curved which makes it only logical to use in order to be competitive.

So if we were to ask Jim Manion what was the IFBBs stance on drug use was , what do you think he would say?
"Well,we have some documents online for legal purposes but really we dont care what our athletes do"
Its not about singling out athletes its sticking to its clearly laid out rules.

IFBB PRESS RELEASE REGARDING DRUG TESTS!
November 20, 2001
•With all of the hype, rumors and story on two athlete's testing positive at the 2001 Mr. Olympia, namely Jay Cutler, and Markus Ruhl, there was lots of rumors that these two athletes would be disqualified. While Markus Ruhl would not stand to lose any money, Jay Cutler, who could of been named Mr. Olympia, would lose his second place ranking, $60,000, and be forced to requalify for next year's Olympia. Needless to say, none of that will happen now, as the IFBB has made an official response to all that was going on. Here is there response, from Wayne DeMilia, chairman of the IFBB Pro Division, and Jim Manion, chairman of IFBB Judges Committee.
Subsequent to the mandatory drug tests that took place at the Olympia Weekend of October 26/27, 2001, the IFBB was informed that two samples had tested positive for banned diuretics. As a result of this information, the IFBB took the initiative to scrupulously examine the drug-testing procedures that took place at and around the 2001 Olympia Weekend. After completing this investigation, the IFBB is confident that each and every one of the steps called for in the protocol of drug testing were meticulously followed at the event itself. However, as part of this investigation, it was discovered that the world-renowned laboratory employed by the IFBB is no longer designated as an official accredited lab by the International Olympic Committee. When the IFBB commenced its relationship with this highly reputable lab several years ago it was an IOC-accredited lab.
As the IFBB's Doping Control Policy calls for all testing to be undertaken by an IOC-accredited lab, the IFBB, committed to following the highest ethical standards, has no option but to declare the drug testing results from the 2001 Olympia Weekend null and void. Those athletes who had been informed that they had tested positive, Jay Cutler and Markus Ruhl, will keep their original 2001 Mr. Olympia placings of second and 14th, respectfully, and retain all relevant medals, privileges and prize money applicable to their placings.
We consider this decision to be one based on a pure technicality and in no way reflects on the integrity of the lab used by the IFBB, nor does it question the testing procedure followed by the IFBB at the 2001 Olympia Weekend. The IFBB is committed to following its official federation guidelines and bylaws to the letter. As a result, the IFBB officially announces that all future IFBB drug testing will be carried out under the auspices of an IOC-accredited lab to be determined before the commencement of the 2002 season.
With this decision, the IFBB reaffirms its strong commitment to the Olympic ideal of unity through sport, and fair and balanced treatment of all athletes
lol.

Did you read the part where I just said sticking to the rules opens them up for lawsuits that could lead to them being put out of business? This is beyond what's politically correct.
-
lol.
lol at trying everything in their power to find a loophole.

Are you serious?
Sticking to the rules PROTECTS them from lawsuits.

Like he said, hardly singing it from the rooftops

Why do you think Jay Cutler got off? Because a lawyer could easily expose their drug regulations as a farce and have them shut down. So they will not challenge any athletes.
-

Yep, the lab isnt a recognised lab, we dont cast any doubt on the labs ability yet we will ignore the labs results because it doesnt fit our agenda.
As a result, the IFBB officially announces that all future IFBB drug testing will be carried out under the auspices of an IOC-accredited lab to be determined before the commencement of the 2002 season.

Now, where are all the test results from the Olympias since 2001?

I have no idea if any of those people from Ecuador, Russia or Ukraine took their cases to court. But I know Jay did, and we see what that resulted in..them changing their story.

So you are saying a competitor entering a drug tested event could then simply take the organisation to court should he fail the test?
Shame no one let Ben Johnson know about this "loophole"

Ben Johnson wasn't in the IFBB an org with much obvious different standards. And yes that's precisely what I'm saying and the reason why they dont even bother testing. At least not in the states.

So, we have sort of come full circle.
An organisation that tests some athletes but not others yet prides itself on Olympic values.
Now, if the said champion* of that organisation isnt morally sound than I suppose its to be expected.
Good discussion mate. ;)
PS *Im not singling any athlete out here, just anyone wearing the crown.

Should I jump on the Gifted Nutrition stack of triple-isolyzed whey protein and micronized creatine?

Phil Heath.
Bodybuilder. Athlete. Philosopher.

Why are some posters here melting like butter when Phil Heath is criticized ???
You do realize this is just a man in thong contestant right?
-
Page 5. Can it go to 10 pages. Half way there.
Oh and tell the man child his video games are calling him. I don't know what's worse letting an overgrown 14 year old win Mr Olympia or have him talk about drug testing when they grabbed biogenesis boys all while they were asleep in bed. Yet he thinks he can mock the law and get away with it.
I'm sure A Rod felt the exact same way ::)

The aspire to Phil's high level of self delusion. Phil has been telling lies for so long you can tell he actually believes them. He's literally raised the bar on being deluded. My new nickname for Phil 'The Gift' Heath is 'THE GRIFTER'

Ever read the ingredients on food items? What the rule on that?
The first ingredient is the most prevalent one. The name of the website isn't "Get health and fitness" or "Get-figure". It's GETBIG.
And the first item after the title is BODYBUILDING.
There's even a natrual forum within this thread for those who prefer their bodybuilders sans anabolics.
But, you aren't going there. You're basically here blubbering about the current Mr. Olympia.

"Words of wisdom" next to a photo of Phil Heath ; Kind of ironic that the only talent he has is his reaction to a shitload of steroids.....
