Hey LurkerNoMore,
I am the attorney who represented Mr. Castillo and coincidentally, I am a Get Bigger.
I am Craig Richardson's training partner for the past 17 years.
I'm no tough guy but I am no "pansy" either.
And I am no Public Defender.
And for those of you asking, it was a metal dumbbell.

Dear Army of One,
My hair is the way I prefer it to be (while I still have hair).
I have no interest in capitulating to the system.
Judges and Prosecutors want to protect their system and their secure pensions.
It is just one more reminder that one does not need to sit prostrate to the Establishment.
I am not part of their world nor do I wish to play golf with them or attend their rubber chicken fundraisers.
When no one stands up to law enforcement, judges or prosecutors, we are all in big trouble, no matter our color,
race, ethnicity, sexual proclivity, etc.
If they had their way, they would wipe out all those who strive to achieve excellence on their own terms.
Individuality is not well tolerated by them and that is why they would go after all the Get Biggers first.
Harley

I hope this is real :D

Dear Army of One,
Thank you. I am not a "gimmick" but I am not anything extraordinary either.
I very much enjoy the bodybuilding threads on Get Big and initially joined to offer some insight as I have a very
privileged position to have been "behind the yellow tape" for 17 years in being the training partner of a professional bodybuilder.
I am also 48 years old next month so my interest in the sport spans about 36 years.
Training with guys like Craig Richardson, Vinnie Galanti, Rob Lopez, Darryl Perry and others has been a great education as well
as a real eye-opener into some of the best, and worst, aspects of bodybuilding.
There sure is a great deal of fighting and insulting here but when guys offer their insights and experiences, as well as all the great
photos, it is truly inspiring and informative.

lol this is ace! i'm glad i didn't tear into him with my lookalike pics cause I'm backing Harley now 100%. the man's a loose cannon! turn's up to court in a fucking Tuxedo, sports a Michael Bolton-esque hair do, has a blue belt in martial arts AND posts on getbig. Absolute legend.
Lawyer, judo expert, bodybuilder, hair of the gods, anti establishment, gets to take pics of thongsman up close and train with them.a getbiggers wet dream.
-
Dear Army of One,
I apologize for my ignorance, but I don't know what AJ's "upside cup test" means.
I have some great photos of Craig getting ready for his recent shows.
If there is any interest, I will learn how to post pictures and send some stuff.
Craig is going out to Steve Weinberger's (Bev Francis' Powerhouse) gym tomorrow in order to
have Frank Sepe film a workout for NPC News' website.
Also, I have asked Craig to make very short videos during training and then offer some tips and explanations.
MHP will publish those on their website and on the NPC News website.
As far as that photo of me, that is from a few years ago in Brasil. That year, I took 3rd Place in the Seniors/Masters Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu World Championships. I lost a 0-0 tie-breaker to a guy from Finland in the semi-finals.

Hey Guys,
Thank you for the compliments.
I left Get Big posting after so many people disbelieved and crushed me just because I had a disagreement with Dorian Yates.
I am currently making my own documentary film focusing on the "come-back" of Craig, my MMA Coach and professional fighter, Sean "Shorty-Rock" Santella and myself.
I am funding the film myself so I don't have to kiss any sponsor's ass or claim that their product is the reason for anyone's success.
I also want the film to be real and truthful so that people get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to get yourself up off the floor when you are down and
all the haters out there are saying you can't achieve your dreams. It's all those negative people who are going to have this film shoved up their ass.
Also, I hope the film inspires those who are a bit down and feeling as if they can't get to where they want to be.
Three very different people with fairly similar goals with the whole world telling them they can't do it.
It's just a side project for me but I have a professional crew and when it's done, I will premiere it and send it out for free. No one should pay to be inspired.

You sound like a genuinely decent guy. Be sure to check back here with a link when it's finished.
Don't forget to add to your resume 'received gratuitous compliments from getbiggers'.

I'm now opening memberships up for Team HarleyBreite.
I am in. GB HOF potential.

When the documentary is finished and the credits role, I will have a list of people who deserve special recognition and thanks.
I did want to put GetBig.com on there as everyone is generally very nice to Craig.
-
HARLEY is great on here, nice guy,,Richardson is one of the best with galanti and many others in 90's nj bbing scene, sad its gone...richardsonnis one of the nicest guys to meet,,,maz was his early prep guy and supporter..

Start a gofundme account. Getbiggers are the 1%; we'd love to help.
-
Dear AJ,
I would never ask for donations for the film. It's going to be a brutally honest, politically incorrect account of how guys try to continue being "men" in a
society that doesn't allow men to be men anymore. This isn't one of those "everyone gets a trophy" accounts.
Most bodybuilders have been very nice in offering their time.
I run my own charity for mentally and physically challenged persons and now have 200 "special kids" for which I throw regular parties.
I NEVER ask nor accept donations and only want those who come to experience what it means to receive more than you give but in a non-material way.
I've had Craig Richardson, Rob Lopez, Maz Ali and John Hnatyshack come in the past.

Dear AJ,
Thanks very much. You guys can see the parties on YouTube if you type in my name.
There is no way I am going to lie on this site as you guys are experts with this internet and computer stuff
so anytime you want to audit me, I am prepared, for better or worse.
And by the way, can't anyone post a picture of when I won the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships twice?

You don't own him.
-
uuuh, i'm pretty sure i saw him first guys, so if anyone is getting invited to one of his "special" parties, it should be me. I've already sent an abusive email to Dorian, and there's a blank cheque in the post, making its way to Harley as we speak.
I'm pretty sure my "I hope this is real" post stakes my claim. And I was in before you!

Guy deserves his own color of stars for just being anti-establishment. Throw in the fact that he took 3rd place in a martial arts tourney in BRAZIL ... again, BRAZIL ... and you pretty much have a legend here on GetBig WHO, on top of it all, considers himself a GetBigger. What more could you ask for ??
Welcome Harley.

Hey Guys,
I am really shocked by the positive responses and genuinely am proud to be accepted by many on this site.
You can all come to the "Harley's Kids Halloween Party" this October 28th at the Athenia Veterans Hall at 147 Huron Ave in Clifton, New Jersey.
This is a real party, no make believe.
Craig will be there giving away free signed photos and taking photos with everyone.
In addition to training with MMA Pro Sean Santella, I also train with Jim and Dan Miller from the UFC and they will also be at my kids' party.
I am often curious though why it is that at every pro show I go to, no one ever identifies themselves from GetBig. No t-shirts or anything.
I would love for someone to come up to me and Craig and say they are from GetBig.

I think that a big part of the problem is that an enormous amount of the membership here doesn't even train. They talk shit and look like shit and to be outed in public would ruin their carefully crafted online persona.
There's probably less than 100 members here that would publicly identify with their online Getbig personas. Probably a lot less.

AJ,
That may or not be true but if someone is a fan of bodybuilding then that's pretty kool on its own.
Being in shape is, for anyone older than say 28 years old, practically a full time job.
I wouldn't want to be judged by whether or not I have abs at a particular time of the year but I understand from being here for awhile
that some guys can be pretty cruel, even if they themselves don't have abs.
I graduated high school at 88 pounds. Let me write that again. I graduated high school at 88 pounds and back then, there were no "Bully Laws."
I have never called myself a bodybuilder for the most obvious of reasons but, training with weights and being interested in bodybuilding has changed
my life for the better. I suffer from depression when my weight gets out of hand and I hear it from "haters" but my love for the training never wanes.
I hope guys on this site approach me and Craig at the Olympia this year and stop for a photo with Craig.

Hey Get Biggers,
How about this???
I will offer Craig Richardson for a public training session and seminar afterwards for all Get Biggers if you guys really want to do it.
You guys pick the body part and have your questions ready and then after the seminar, you can join us to eat somewhere.
This is, of course, free. You can take photos without any fee (Craig is not Lou Ferrigno with whom I also had a fight) and you can video too.
I am just thinking off the top of my head so please offer any suggestions to make this whatever you guys would like it to be in terms of fan
interaction, a good time and a learning experience. Given that this is GetBig, I ask that there are no homosexual requests. This is strictly about
Bodybuilding in the form it was meant to be.
Just an idea so help me out if you have interest. We can give plenty of notice and set it up maybe at Diamond Gym if you guys want kool atmosphere or
some other place if you like.

Hey AJ,
You like dogs? I have had 3 beautiful pit bulls who have been the love of my life until their passing.
I am expecting the birth of my next pit bull on August 22nd. His father is perhaps the world's largest pit bull and named "The Hulk"
Again, you can audit me by going to Dark Dynasty K9s. I have the rights to the first pick of The Hulk and Fessa's first mating which recently took place.
The Hulk currently weights 180 lbs and Fessa is over 110 pounds.
I am a huge animal lover and the only criminal cases I've ever declined to accept were guys charged with animal abuse.
And yes, I am aware of the fact that I represent rapists, pedophiles and murderers. The decision is a personal one which doesn't have to make sense to anyone else.

I have three rescues: a boxer mix, a spaniel mix and a husky mix. And a badass cat.
-
My 3 previous dogs were all rescues from Paterson, New Jersey. I just rescued my first cat this past October and it's my first time having a cat.
He really is kool too.
This next dog was designed for serious protection issues although I am a gun collector and currently have 19,000 rounds of ammunition at my house.
When this government completely fails us, I wont' be one of those allowing looters to come into my house and piss on my rug.

19,000? You need to step up the purchases my friend!
My protection is mostly provided by my rural setting, good overlook and clear fields of fire with ranging stakes at 50/100/200m

Dear Dave D,
I appreciate the apology but my hair is good target for jokes and if a person can't laugh at himself one in awhile, life sure becomes much more difficult.
As far as Lurker No More, I never said I didn't visit Get Big regularly. What I had said was that I stopped posting my thoughts and photos as the site didn't
seem very interested.
As far as conditioner, yes, I am a big fan of conditioner, but the right stuff. It really made a difference for me, at least while I can hold onto what I have until that
frightful day it becomes something just too shameful. Until then, I am holding on with all my strength.
As far as Captain Freedom, I do have concerns buying any dog from a breeder as I am accustomed to rescuing pits before they are used for fighting. I have developed a more personal
relationship with this breeder and have had many concerns diminished. I am ok with the fact that the dog can be of several breeds. My clients will shoot anyone at anytime but not if they are with a
pit bull. I have personal experience in this matter, unfortunately. The dog is not only my favorite breed but wonderful for protection in merely an intimidation mode. The toughest guys from the hood
will not mess with you nor shoot you if you are with a pit bull. The dog will be in my office when certain consults are conducted and when I meet people to get paid.
Given that the corrupt police and cowardly judiciary are seeking to take away my permit to carry a gun (which is virtually impossible to obtain in New Jersey) the idea of a huge pit bull in my home and
with me at my office in Paterson gains a great deal in appeal. I've legally carried for 6 years and now they want to take it away claiming there is no justifiable need (have they no idea whom I represent- Bloods, Latin Kings, DNPs (Dominicans Don't Play) and other gang members who have no issue killing another rival gang's attorney.
They also want to take away my permit to carry because someone accused me of beating him so badly he wound up in the hospital. The guy was a racist from the Middle East and had very serious opinions about me being Jewish. Sure, he threw the first punch at me. Sure, he ended up on the concrete and then the hospital. Sure, I was there but my legal defense prevailed and the case
was dismissed. I have nothing further to say on that matter.

Dear Army of One,
My client, Fernando Chireno was unhappy with his wife. She personally shot a video of him holding a long sword while he vowed to chop her up and bury her in the backyard.
She is heard saying that the reason she is making this video is to give to her parents so that when he does kill her, her parents will give the video to the police.
Go forward 6 months.
Well, what does his wife then do? She walks by his place of work everyday, taunting him by saying that he isn't a man and she will sleep with a real man one day.
Well, what does Fernando then do?
He goes to Home Depot and buys a hatchet (the video was introduced by the State at trial).
He goes into his wife's home (they were separated by a Restraining Order, which I had nullified and barred from introduction as evidence).
He finds his wife in bed with their 3 young children and begins to chop her up. She then runs for her life away from the kids and makes it out the front door.
Fernando catches her on the street and chops her into 15 pieces. He then takes a cab and returns to the scene in order to confess, on site to the police.
The next day, while in jail, he calls his mother in law and apologizes on the phone (all of which is recorded and introduced at trial) for killing her daughter.
The letter he sent his wife days before the murder, advising her that he was coming over to kill was also introduced at trial.
I was left with but one choice; an Insanity Defense which is only successful perhaps 5% of the time.
I introduced evidence that Fernando, while living in the Dominican Republic, stole a baby from a mother's arms in the street, set his own house on fire with his family inside,
attempted to stone his brother to death and brought a machete to school because he was angry at a teacher.
During the trial, Fernando turned to me and asked for a piece of paper from my legal pad. I obliged him and he began to tear it in pieces and eat the paper.
When the Sheriff's Officers told him not to do that, I objected right in front of the jury to let the jury know that Fernando wanted to eat the paper and had a right to do so.
At one point during the trial, while trying to make small talk, I asked Fernando what was his favorite food. He replied, "I like to eat my own shit."
The Jury deliberated for almost a week, but in the end, we lost. They didn't think he was insane.

Dear Army of One,
Because you asked me and because I want to be honest while on Get Big I will give you my honest response as to how I come home and deal with such utter chaos.
I get in my Ferrari, I go down a long stretch of highway blasting Iron Maiden's "Run To The Hills" (yes, cliché, but it works for me) and then I go to a strip club.
Given that I don't drink alcohol, I pursue my one intention of procuring a thin stripper with big implants and proceed to cajole her out of the club for some Italian food at
a decent restaurant and then to have sex with me. No talking afterwards, no listening to her problems or those of her kids or why the baby's father doesn't want to pay child support.
Simply some really good Italian food, porno sex and then leave her place and go home to watch Family Guy.
I tell you because you asked.

Hopefully this is the real Harley Breite. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find him and ask if he posts on Getbig.
Wouldn't be wise impersonating a lawyer.

But then again, it would not be wise for a lawyer to come on here saying the stuff he does. I am wondering if its really him.
-
Hey Shizzo,
This is the real Harley Breite. Who on earth would get on here, spend all this time and impersonate me?
With all that computer knowledge you GetBiggers have, you need only go to YouTube and type in my name and see me and some of what I do.
Really, you doubt I am who I say I am? With all those details? My computer guy is going to send me instructions this week on how to post
pictures and I will send stuff I take of Craig and other stuff you guys may want to see.
Believe me, if I were going to steal someone's identity, it would be someone with a killer physique or filthy rich or someone whom I admire like Jerry Lewis
or Bob Geldof.
I have been in every one of Craig's Battle For The Olympia, in almost all his workout videos for MHP and in the magazines with him and at all his shows.
I certainly am not famous but people have seen my mug and hair way before today.

Dear SF 1900,
What did I say here that wasn't 'wise"?
I don't work for the government, I protect people from it.
I won't live scared of law enforcement, judges or prosecutors.
When they come after me, they better have done all their homework and not violated one single law or rule.
Being a lawyer is my job, it doesn't define me nor is it my identity. I study piano, I paint, I study languages, I collect cars, I train with Craig, I train
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. My life is not my work nor was I brought up to live in fear of the government.
I don't feel any need to conform to a bunch of cowardly left wing or right wing hypocrites. This isn't high school for me anymore, bullies don't get my respect.

Dear Shizzo,
I referred earlier to specific stories I gave years ago about me and Dorian and me and Craig and Vinnie Galanti, etc.
NJFlex has commented on the guys with whom I trained. Why is it so hard to believe someone isn't actually hiding behind the computer screen?
I didn't say anything that could cause me to be disbarred. In fact, I thought I was pretty damn honest and even referred you guys to my YouTube stuff.
I am waiting for the attacks on how bad my BJJ is, how awful a fighter I am, how heavy I look, etc.
I put it all out there for the sake of having good discourse.
The real Harley is me, someone who has been here before and is a huge fan of bodybuilding. I do what I do for a living but when the work is done, I am
a pretty normal guy doing guy stuff.
If you have an idea to prove this is me, go ahead and offer it. I don't mind.

Harley, since many would consider you a public figure, I suggest that you send either Ron (site owner) or one of the mods some proof of your identity. We would not want someone being misrepresented without their knowledge or permission.

How did you end up defending the type of people you do? Violent offenders, gang members etc.
Was it a choice or a result of circumstance?
Thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions, this is an interesting thread.
-
I think I was successful in sending One More Rep a personal message and for the record, that is NOT me in that photo
that Abdominal Snowman sent.
As per Walker's question, it would take a little time and brute honesty to answer the question which I would do if you really wanted the truth
about it. It would subject me to personal criticism but here at Get Big, that is what comes with the territory as long as the criticism is somewhat fair.

The reasons I defend those "type of people" are manifold but here goes.
My father basically grew up in Hitler's death camps. He saw Hitler live on 2 occasions.
My Grandfather, Jakob Breitowicz was shot in the head at point blank range with a rifle held by a 19 year old SS soldier Josef Wurst who was later found guilty of war crimes
and executed on October 3, 1947 in Dachau.
My Grandfather, left for dead, survived and wrote a book about his experiences entitled Through Hell To Life (Shengold Publishing). Not a best seller by any means.
My Grandfather, Grandmother and Father found each other after the Americans liberated the camps and they came to America when my Dad was 13 years old. None of them spoke English.
My Dad ended up as a Medical Doctor, spoke 11 languages, played 9 instruments (he went to NY Performing High School where he was friends with Billy D. Williams and said Peter Yarrow of Peter
Paul and Mary was a "fag." My Dad voluntarily entered the Marines and then later the Army Reserve where he served in Dessert Storm and rose to Lt. Colonel. He passed a year and a half ago.
The point: I was brought up to despise racism. I was also brought up with a distrust for government and tyranny.
My job as a Criminal Defense Attorney is simply to test the State's evidence and to ensure that they followed all the rules. If we don't do that, each and every time, even with the most
despicable defendants, if we allow the government to cut corners because "we all know he did it," then trust me, the government will start to cut corners everywhere, on every case.
Sure, first they will do it to all the Blacks. Then to all the Hispanics. Then to all the Jews. Then to all the gays. They won't know when to stop as they will have become drunk with impunity.
No matter who you hate or why you hate them, you can't have a government refusing to obey the rules and laws in their prosecution of others because if you allow that, one day, they will be at
your door taking you and your loved one away on fabricated evidence or at least tainted in ways the Constitution does not permit.
We may not have a perfect criminal justice system, but it's still the best in the world but only if there are people to keep it in check.
There are actually people sitting in prisons who are wrongfully accused and wrongfully convicted. It is not the norm, but it happens enough to be leery of any government willing to suppress your rights.
The other reasons I do what I do is because I am often well paid and I do it as well as anyone else I have ever seen but for my mentor. It also feels good to actually help someone which does happen quite often.
It is quite the adrenaline rush to get up before a jury and deliver a Closing Argument that just blows away the Judge, Prosecutor and the jury.
That is about as honest an answer I can give.

Dear NJFlex,
Thanks but I am nothing compared to my Dad but I am ok with that.
When my Dad was a Marine, they were climbing up a mountain and his Drill Instructor made an anti-Semitic remark.
My Dad turned and punched him in the jaw. My Father was brought up on charges but wasn't crushed as even back then,
those types of comments were frowned upon. My Dad was not proud of that story but told it to me to teach me a lesson.
He played poker to support himself through medical college where he attended in Germany in the 1960's.
We have the Persian rugs as proof of his winnings. That made him more proud.

He also smuggled jewelry from Germany into Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia on his motorcycle and got caught once too.
He wasn't proud of that either.
He once pulled a gun on a State Senator who thought he could walk down my driveway at night without responding to my
Dad's question (command) "Who are you?"
He once put a gun on the dashboard in NYC in the 70's when some guy thought that just because we exited the Lincoln Tunnel, he
had the right to wash our car windshield.
He was no tough guy but he would never let someone take advantage of him after he got out of the concentration camps.

Its not the government...its what Daniel Smoot called THE INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT. The FBI's Division 5 did Oklahoma City & the CIA did 9/11 to send the entire world a message. No courts or marches/peaceful protests will eradicate them. Total & complete house to house, city to city, state to state anarchy is the only way. This country was stolen from the indians by force & must be taken back by force. Nov 22, 1963 they made a huge mistake putting off the inevitable. They use weapons we pay for against us to keep us subserviant. Once blacks finally unify & no longer can be bought off w/ pennies the rest of the people will rise up w/ them then anarchy begins & they're ivory towers will fall. They can't kill all of us.

When compared to IFBB standards, yet its just a decent physique. Sorry, but it is.
Obviously, when compared to the average gym rat its a superb physique.
But only decent when compared to elite IFBB pros.

Harley
Somebody give this man some stars.
and a cookie. ;D

Dear SF 1900,
I agree with you that yes, compared to many other IFBB pros, Craig's physique is "decent." It's not outstanding. He isn't winning the Mr. Olympia.
It's a nice physique for an IFBB Pro. I agree.
However, given that you seldom run into an IFBB Pro, seeing Craig in person, is actually outstanding.
Given that few people get to even watch an IFBB Pro train, watching Craig train in person is actually outstanding.
Sure, he isn't killing anyone with his size. Sure, his insulin gut is raging over his posing trunks. Sure, his site-loading isn't
making anyone wonder how you can have 25 inch arms with 19 inches worth of triceps.
He has a nice, proportioned look.
Is he as aesthetic and pretty as Branch Warren? No, not at all (here is more sarcasm).
Is he an asset to the sport with live homosexual party videos like others? No, not at all (here is more sarcasm).
Is he on the police blotter for beating up women or owing child support? No, not at all.
Look, I am his Training Partner so you have to expect some bias but I know he isn't rocking the sport.
But trust me, if you met him in person, you would very much like his built and you would walk away saying he was kind to you and your son or your family
and that he was a good guy without any ego.
In my book, that makes him a top notch professional, in any endeavor.

The resistance can't think small as in guns or it will always be small. It must think huge as in millions of minds. An army of ten thousand can take a nuclear plant, another of ten thousand takes a televisuon station, and so on. Billions of our $$ are given away to foriegn countries while millions here starve. The NWO will ultimately fail. They smile & lie making believe their not the enemy of freedom when their it's destroyer. I can leave this life w/ a clear conscience ... they never will.

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

The reasons I defend those "type of people" are manifold but here goes.
My father basically grew up in Hitler's death camps. He saw Hitler live on 2 occasions.
My Grandfather, Jakob Breitowicz was shot in the head at point blank range with a rifle held by a 19 year old SS soldier Josef Wurst who was later found guilty of war crimes
and executed on October 3, 1947 in Dachau.
My Grandfather, left for dead, survived and wrote a book about his experiences entitled Through Hell To Life (Shengold Publishing). Not a best seller by any means.

Harley, that is true, but Kai has the physique to back it up. Its good enough to get him 2nd place in the MR. O, but not good enough to win, given his background.
-
Harley, that is true, but Kai has the physique to back it up. Its good enough to get him 2nd place in the MR. O, but not good enough to win, given his background.
Dear SF 1900,
I take nothing away from Kai's physique. It's amazing and if you ever see him up close, it's even more mind boggling because he seems much shorter in person which makes
him appear even more dense. I am short myself, just 5 foot 7 inch and I know he is taller than me but he is thick and massive when you stand next to him. The density of
his legs makes you stop and awe in wonder.
I should also mention, that every time I have met Kai, he was more than a gentleman and we spoke for a bit each time. He really does seem to be a nice guy but very eccentric.
There is no question his physique reigns over Craig's. Kai's place on the Mr. O stage and his accomplishments are well deserved.
I just was naïve in still hoping that companies would recognize a family man supporting his wife, kids and grandkid, speaking to inner city youths to stay in school and tons of other
stuff in terms of offering more than a pittance in terms of monthly stipend. You could not believe what Kai gets paid.
Harley
-
Dear Waller,
With regard to your question about whether or not I receive special privileges or notoriety in gang areas, the answer is both yes and no.
I have represented The Hell's Angels and The Satan Soldiers and they presented different "privileges."
The problem with urban street gangs, as opposed to the aforementioned Motorcycle Clubs, is that warring gangs do wish to knock out the other guy's lawyer
if they feel that lawyer is winning too much or putting too much attention on the rival gang.
Sometimes, there is feuding within the gang itself and some members wish you harm while others don't. In that case, it's best to represent those on the highest
level so the order goes down not to harm the lawyer.
I've had death threats levied against me for years and that is, in part, why I have a permit to carry a gun in the hardest state to obtain such a permit.
Of course, the cops and the judges and the prosecutors are all against successful defense attorneys who constantly publicize their ineptitude in the papers and win trials and thus,
the reason for them seeking to revoke my permit as we write.
I've been in some very unusual places with gang members and seen some very unusual things and activities.
Of course, as far as "privileges," none are better than those I receive from the go go bar owners whom I represent. I planted that seed when I was in law school and my very first
karate instructor asked me to work the door at his all-nude strip club in Paterson which, at that time, was the hottest private club of that nature- Hurrah's circa 1991-1993.

Guys I am friends with John Hnatyschak. I texted him about this thread. He knows Harley, and I am certain an impostor would have never known about John, being a 1980's IFBB pro. Regardless, John said Harley is a good dude. Harley, thanks for posting as you have an intellect and posting style that definitely adds to the board. Please keep posting, as the site needs some stalwarts to keep it relevent. This is the first multi-page thread I have read in years. Cheers to your new pup ;D.

Great answer. Here is a slightly different question, if you don't mind.
Have you ever defended someone and got them acquitted even though you knew yourself that they were guilty? How did you feel about this? When (or if) they then went on to do another awful crime like murder, rape, aggravated assault, did it weigh on your conscience that they were allowed to commit this crime due to the fact they were walking around free because of your efforts?
PS - you need to post more often.

Dear Lurker No More,
That is a question quite a few people have asked me about in the past 22 years.
I promise to answer it as best I can in just a couple of hours.
I know here on Get Big that you can't duck the hard questions.
Hopefully, my honesty is coming through so when I do recall some behind the rope
bodybuilding story, you guys don't all attack it as BS.
Thanks for the recognition of my BJJ but trust me, I am no one in that world. For me, it's a passion but not one
I devote enough time to until I retire from work. I did however, just spend the weekend with my Professor and very close friend,
Royler Gracie who was in town for seminars. I have the good fortune to not only be Royler's student (I am a 2 stripe Purple Belt) but also his very
good friend and lawyer. In fact, I created all the controversy in the world of BJJ when I negotiated Royler's contract when he fought Eddie Bravo last year.
I was responsible for "Pants-gate." In the end, Royler was paid the highest fee ever paid to anyone to compete in a BJJ match.
I actually do quite a bit of legal work for many of the Gracies and have trained and am friends with them (Royler, Royce, Rickson, Rolker, Renzo, Robson, etc.)
They are mostly very nice people but not all of them. I have my favorites there too.

Hey Guys,
In an effort to create a little buzz about Craig Richardson's return to the Mr. Olympia state (this time, at 212), we are on our way today to
Bev Francis' Powerhouse Gym in Long Island to have Frank Sepe interview and film a workout for NPC News which has online videos.
Ok, so you ask, "What the hell is the difference?"
Answer: We are doing our actual shoulder workout. What some don't know is that the pros, when filmed or for photos, don't actually show you what they really do.
They allow the photographer to dictate what exercises he wants to see and shoot.
Also, they never really explain why they do what they do.
At least with Craig, whatever you see him doing, he really does. He won't change the workout or his eating just to do a photo shoot.
And yes, this is the gym Steve Weinberger owns.
I will tell you this, Steve has always treated me very nicely and even with respect. He has been very helpful to Craig throughout the years, offering good advice and
always inviting us to train at this gym. Every time we are there (which is maybe once a year), he stops what he is doing, comes out and spends time greeting both of us as if
we actually matter.
As far as Bev, I can tell you that I once lost the 16 tickets I bought to the NY Pro and called Steve in a panic. I had people coming in from all over and now, with no tickets.
Bev met me and my people at the door, had already figured out where we would be sitting and had us all escorted to the seats. You have to take into account just how busy
and how much chaos there was when she was doing all this. It wasn't easy and it was a real pain for her, yet she was very patient, kind and understanding, so much so, I sent her
flowers to thank her.

Hey Guys,
Here is what I am going to do because you have all been so nice to me:
At some point, given that I am actually in the video, I will speak and thank people
on Craig's behalf and I will thank GetBig.com for all their support.
How is that?
Remember, that will probably piss off Frank Sepe and his people, but then again,
true GetBiggers are probably almost always pissing off the Establishment. At least I hope so.

Hey Guys,
So I guess you all already know Kai Greene has left MHP.
I've just returned from Bev Francis' Powerhouse Gym where NPCNewsonline.com
videotaped Craig's workout.
Craig gave a short interview which included him thanking everyone at GetBig.com
They said it should be up on line by Monday.

It appears as if I have scooped Get Big with the news of Kai having officially left MHP.
When that hits, please remember I let you guys know first.

Until "Vince Goodrum MsC PhD BaDAss" confirms, nothing is set.
Vince, can you confirm. Come in, Vince!
-
Hey AJ,
I sort of enjoy the challenge of having to win you over.
I promise you, Kai has left MHP and on his own terms.
The call was made to MHP and it's done.
They should've known it was coming as he had still not yet
signed his contract.

Harley,
The Vince thing is kinda a running joke. Just roll with it.
_aj_
-
Dear AJ,
Thanks for letting me in on the joke.
Always more fun to be in on the joke than to be the joke.
I am still learning my way around here.
I saw IFBB Pro Kenny Jones today who recounted that he had recently fell 10 stories and was in a coma and then paralyzed.
His apparent recovery is incredible as he looks damn good.
Kevin English was there and Craig asked me to be on my best behavior as I have a habit for
"Trash Talking" guys while I train. I do it loud and publicly but only while they are there and able to hear it. Kevin is a very quiet guy
so I don't think he takes to well to that and he did walk over once after I said I would only use shoulder machines that "Kevin English did NOT use."
There also may have been a jab at what it means to be contest ready. The thing is, I don't mind being trashed talked to as I accept the fact that those
who give it out better be able to take it too. I had some fierce times with Jason Arntz and Matt Duvall where members of the gym were scared a fight was
about to erupt. Just a little fun, that's all.

do you think Phil Heath is a shitty Mr. Olympia?

It's missing any drama. If you were to add that they weren't shipping him enough grapefruits we'd be gossiping away.
I also suspect Kai is more liked and dare I say respected on getbig due to Phildo's videos, while Kai keels his head down and works hard.

Team Ramy here...
-
On the question of Phil, Kai or Ramy,
The answers depend on whether or not you are taking into account more than their actual physiques on the stage.
Supposing for a moment, that personal proclivities and ideologies were absent and we just assessed what we saw on stage I would say the following:
Phil- I understand why he wins the Mr. O. His "stage-size" is enough and his conditioning puts him over the top.
Kai- When he comes in condition (which I don't think he has in the most recent shows), and by condition, I mean freakishly dry and etched as is or
should be required to be the elite, and then you consider the quality of his back and the massive parts he presents, he is hard to take your eyes from.
Ramy- His sheer size is mesmerizing but the lack of muscle maturity due to his age and "new-found" muscle screams to me that he is just not ready to
win the Mr. O. I saw Ramy the day after a show at Bev's gym and he is what bodybuilders are supposed to be: Massive and Freaky. Those types of builds
are not as common anymore.
My opinion, for the little it's worth is this: I want my Mr. O to walk down the street in any country and make peoples' mouths drop in awe. I want him huge
like a dinosaur. The way Phil carries himself in public and the way he dresses, he just doesn't appear or feel like a Mr. O to me. He may be a very nice guy, but if all we
are considering is physique, then I am not sure he fulfills my Mr. O expectations. Our sport should have a leviathan as it's king. In my humble opinion, Phil is a formerly
somewhat thin guy who put on big body parts rather quickly. Sometimes the oil (no pun intended) needs time to settle before the painting can truly be considered finished.

I totally agree with what you said about Phil and why he leaves so many of us underwhelmed by him as Mr Olympia. As you said Mr O should have a massive presence everywhere he goes, he needs to be a a larger than life figure who inspires those who see him to take up weight training and better themselves. Phil spends 80% of the year conserving himself and looking pretty average even when compared with the general public. How long do you think his reign will last? Do you see him reaching the illusive ninth Mr Olympia title?!
-
Dear Rascal full,
I certainly do not see Phil winning 9 Mr. O titles as that would put him at the pantheon of all previous Mr. Olympia winners.
Again, Phil may be a very nice person but I don't ever want my Mr. O talking about playing basketball!!!
I was disappointed when I saw him in person at the Dallas show for the simple reason that he decided to sit and answer questions
for a crowd of fans while wearing an over-sized t-shirt and shorts that fell between his knees and ankles.
My Mr. O shows the fans exactly what they want to see whether or not it's his off-season or the day after a show.
I once went to a show in Charlestown, I think, and Dennis James was competing. He walked around in a tank top the whole time.
BAMM- show over!!!
Bodybuilding fans want to be encouraged and invigorated and that doesn't come from hearing how a guy is going to put down his haters
or how many times a day he eats broiled chicken. Show the fans what they came to see- Muscle, pure and simple.
If I talked like a mouse in court, no one would leave impressed nor want to hire me.
My Mr. O isn't a mouse, he is a monster whose presence is not only felt, but also SEEN.

Lol...our nickname for him is Schackdaddy. He still looks very impressive and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I converse with him weekly. He is now residing in the great state of FL. John is also an avid MMA guy and we catch the UFC from time to time.

I've always said that John had literally the greatest abs I've ever seen.

Harley,
Give us your take on Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler. I think Ronnie at his best was the freakiest creature to ever walk Earth or at least since the dinosaurs lol. I met Jay Cutler and the man was impressive during his reign, and he was also a nice guy. I think Jay is highly under-rated in the BB world.
N
-
Dear Nicorulez,
As per Ronnie and Jay, it's pretty simple, in my opinion.
These are 2 classic examples of building mature muscle over time. Is it a coincidence that Jay was competing as a teen ager and continued to put on huge mass
throughout the years? He has the muscle maturity that guys like Ramy and Rolly need in order to make it to that next level. But, that takes time. Today's guys are in a
rush and their muscles show it.
Jay as a teen ager was awesome and you knew he was going to make his mark in the sport if he continued. Well, he continued and his muscle not only grew but matured.
Ronnie first appeared to me to be a thin guy with freaky bicep peak. Well, I was wrong. Over time, albeit, rather quickly, he grew into what he became. But again, it took time.
Putting personality aside, I've always said that for me, it is the physique of Flex Wheeler that probably reigns supreme over all others to have ever come upon this earth.
However, I was there at the Mr. O in NYC when Ronnie took his first crown over Flex and it was his sheer size that could not be ignored. I understand the love for Dorian but in all
fairness, who had such mass and such definition all over his body to that extreme before Ronnie displayed it?
It is Ronnie and Jay who give you that "dinosaur" feel to the Mr. O and when they were winning their respective titles, I felt as if bodybuilding was actually bodybuilding.
I often cringe at the harsh criticism levied at Ronnie and Jay now that they have retired. Why so much hate for perhaps the two greatest Mr. Olympians ever?
Both were incredibly nice guys and very approachable. And what about Jay's perseverance to come back after having lost to Dexter? I was there the night he lost to Dexter and it was
well deserved and you could feel Jay's disappointment and embarrassment. Well, he did what we want our champions to do. He didn't cry foul or whine like a baby. He came back better.
And Ronnie getting all this hate now? Of course he can't lift as much as he did. But before Ronnie, which bodybuilder gave the fans so much excitement and anticipation about the way
he trained? I swear, watching most pros train is a disgrace. They rest and talk and lift such light weight that you lose admiration. Ronnie made you want to see his next video. We were all wondering
just how much can this guy squat or curl, etc. He was a bodybuilder and not a weight lifter but who out there couldn't wait to see him train and the poundages were inspirational. Ronnie set that standard
and who out there today has carried that torch? I wouldn't spend much time at all watching most of these guys train. It would put me to sleep.
Ronnie and Jay can't be underrated as they won numerous Mr. O's, carried themselves well, and inspired us to lift harder and heavier. Sometimes in bodybuilding, it seems to me
that a guy needs to put some time into his retirement before we go back to giving him the respect he earned.

Dear Harley,
You mentioned that you hadn't posted on getbig in a while because of a disagreement about Dorian Yates. What is your opinion of Dorian and his impact on the sport?
Shawn
-
Dear Shawn,
Let me walk away for a few hours before I respond in honesty to your question about Dorian.
I want to be honest, fair and unemotional yet I know I am going to get crushed by you guys.
But I promise to respond in a little bit.
I did post the story of when I asked Dorian to step outside and settle an issue with just me and him.
That led to accusations of me lying and being a "wanna be tough guy."
I am neither, a liar nor a tough guy. Dennis James, Dexter, Curly Top and Craig were there when it happened.
Anyway, I promise to respond in a bit. I won't run away from the hard questions.
Harley
-
May as well repost the original story, I don't see what you did that was so bad to Dorian, most people know that airing strong views on politics or religion, especially in the USA, isn't the best idea.
Well, you want the truth, here it is.
I believe the year was 2003 because we went into NYC to see Dexter the day before Craig was to compete in the Night of Champions. It was his first time doing the show and Dex was going to check out his condition. We met Dex, Dennis James and Stan McCrary at Dex's room where Dex checked out Craig and warned us that Victor Martinez was looking very dangerous. I later ate a big plate of crow as I pronounced that Victor would only be allowed to carry Craig's trophy. For those who don't know me, I like to talk more trash than Gary Payton but only with people who know I am joking and know that I too have thick
After leaving the room, a whole bunch of pros went to a diner down the block. We all sat together and Dorian happened to be across from me to my left. I engaged him in conversation as I had just finished reading Winston Churchill's "The Gathering Storm." I told Dorian how much I enjoyed London and how much I admired Churchill.
To my huge surprise, Dorian started denigrating Churchill and Prime Minister Tony Blair. He then went on a tirade attacking President Bush and then America itself. He said that America was a coward and a bully for invading Iraq. He said that President Bush and the American society were stupid.
Craig immediately got nervous as he knew I wasn't going to sit back and not respond. I asked Dorian if he had first, ever read any history, let alone Churchill's own words. I reminded him that the same group of people he forever imprinted on his forearm were the ones who mercilessly bombed women and children living in London during WWll.
I then moved on and asked him if when he was paid by Weider the check was in dollars or pounds. I brought up that virtually everyone who helped him was an American and most of his guest posings were due to American promotors or Americans with influence on overseas promoters. I reminded him that although he really isn't a well-known person, the only people who kiss his ass are predominantly Americans. I then also noted that all his success occured in America itself.
At this time, Dex was laughing aloud and waiving his arms. Dennis James was warning me not to start an argument with a guy so big. Craig was pleading with me to stop and not let it escalate any further.
Well, I let it. I then asked Dorain if he thought the guy speaking to him now was an American coward. Before he could answer, I said, "Why don't we go outside right now in front of all your friends and see if all Americans are cowards. C'mon, I'm a small guy, show all your friends how tough you are and crush me right outside."
At this point, Dex tried to calm the situation. Craig knew there was nothing he could do. I apologized to Craig because I knew that Dorian still had some political clout and I didn't want Craig to suffer any damage. I stood up, looked at Dorian, said to him, "well?" and then got up and walked out.
It should be noted that I don't condone violence nor fighting without a legitimate reason. My actions were immature. I let my emotions get the better of me. That is not how I was brought up.
I am sure some of you will find a way to audit me and I welcome that as this was not intended to be some act of bravado, just a truthful recount of a sad situation with two people who should've acted better.

Dear Harley,
Thank you for your honesty. I ask about Dorian because he was a big influence on me. I saw him guest-pose at the Emerald Cup in Seattle when I was a skinny bodybuiler-wannabe. He came out on stage at 300 lbs and was just amazingly big and dense. That motivated me to really get into the weights, and I'm still doing it 20 years later.

Dear Shawn,
You asked me about my opinion as to Dorian and his impact on the sport.
I think you have seen my personal opinion as to Dorian the person and I didn't even go into his unapologetic
attitude to keeping the tattoo or having relations with his own friend's girl.
As to his "impact on the sport," that is without reproach.
Lee Haney, at the time considered massive, was soon followed by an ever growing Dorian who began to rewrite the book on size.
It's always a bit unfair to compare athletes from different eras and generations, but we must and we love to do so, myself included.
Dorian, in my opinion, was the first modern bodybuilder to bring massive size along with being grainy to the Mr. O. That is a very important
distinction as it set a new standard upon which all subsequent competitors, much to their chagrin, were forced to live up to. Most never did.
I wish to make 2 points as to the Dorian physique:
1) How much did those black and white photos of a pre-contest, virtually 300 pound, black sock wearing Dorian do to give him legendary
status? I say, quite a bit. Those are some of the most impressive and startling photos of any bodybuilder ever taken. When those hit the cover of what
I believe was a yellow covered Flex Magazine, the bodybuilding world was seeing something for the first time. No one had ever captured that size and
"graininess" before. It was a first and still a standard upon which to be measured. As far as I was concerned, Dorian had won that year's Mr. O the day
that magazine arrived in my mailbox.
2) I don't think any Mr. O title can be given to a competitor whose bicep is so torn and deformed as was Dorian's. It was more than unsightly. Given what
one could argue is a bit less than aesthetic or pleasing physique, I don't think Dorian could afford such an obvious injury (defect, if you will) and win the Mr. O in
good conscience. That is a judging issue, not a Dorian issue. When Dorian began further exhibiting the ravages of his brutal training (pre-Ronnie), it reaffirmed for
me that his time had come and gone.
In the end, Dorian Yates was the first monstrosity to exhibit almost razor sharpness and a gritty-like skin condition that would make an orange peel jealous.
For that alone, he makes the record book.

Hey Waller,
I appreciate the kind words but my life isn't really "greatly different" from anyone else's here on GetBig.
Perhaps the only major difference is that I fall victim to having too many different passions and wishing to become accomplished
in them all and thus, failing to some degree in most endeavors.
I had written that I am passionate about collecting cars, fighting the government, learning languages, painting, playing piano, training MMA, training BJJ and training with Craig.
No one really asked about those things, which in a way, I am sort of glad as my failure to achieve what I want is something that plagues me quite a bit.
I was lucky in life in that I was able to continue with my education long after I finished college. However, I didn't start making any money until I was about 33 years old.
I was very lucky in that I, unlike almost all my friends, wasn't married with kids or a mortgage when I first started making money. I was single.
It was a crazy time as my close friends owned go go bars and I had already developed a penchant for strippers with implants and then began to afford some toys.
At about the same time, 2 of my closest friends ran the hottest clubs in Las Vegas, Pure and then Prive. What most guys don't understand about living like a rock star is
that it isn't all about the money, it's about the ACCESS. I wasn't rich, but I had access. Access to everything and I indulged (but not in recreational drugs).
I am not saying that anyone else should emulate what I did, but for me, it was the right thing to do and I did it for many many years and sometimes, still do.
I am just a guy struggling with age, fighting the psyche that if I don't have abs then I am worthless, trying to understand the needless stupidity and interference of others
on my quiet life and last but not least, trying to figure out the female mindset.

Ok, I can't speak for anyone else but it's certainly greatly different from mine. Bodybuilding is the common interest here, you're mingling with the pros. Not many here have that chance. You're in an interesting career, I can appreciate the intellectual aspect of the work you do. It's much more interesting for me to talk about than my unfulfilling job. Plus you manage to pursue other personal goals.
And on that last goal? Save your time :D

Having an interest in someone else's life is fine. Complimenting someone is fine. I'm sure he has plenty more great storyies, but getbig tends to take stuff like this to a bizarre, eyeroll worthy extreme. He's friends with a pro-bodybuilder and has met some pros, but why are so many members suddenly clamoring for his opinion on what certain pros mean in the history of bodybuilding? Why did Shnauzer need Harley's approval to be a fan of Dorian's? Why did Rascal think he had some special insight into how long Phil will be Mr. O? ::) I actually think Craig Richardson has a great physique, but if he started an AMA thread here a week ago, no one would have cared. Yet his training partner got his picture in the paper and people are lining up to ask his opinion and acting like his posts are bodybuilding gospel. That's not meant as a slam against Harley, just the sheep mentality this place frequently exhibits.

Dear Lurker,
You has asked me previously, "Have you ever defended someone and got them acquitted even though you knew yourself that they were guilty? How did you feel about this? When (or if) they then went on to do another awful crime like murder, rape, aggravated assault, did it weigh on your conscience that they were allowed to commit this crime due to the fact they were walking around free because of your efforts?"
I promised I would answer honestly so here goes:
When clients come in for the consult (or I go to the jail to do it), they almost never admit to the crime nor do I ask them. I actually don't care if they committed the crime. My intent is to test
the State's evidence and their methods in gathering their evidence so as to make sure they don't cheat. It is the State's burden to prove someone's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and that is
a far cry from the Probable Cause required to just levy the charge, at least it is when I take on a case. I previously wrote about why it's important to have someone stand up on the Defendant's
behalf and ensure that the Accussor has not violated the rules or laws and is not guided by a mob mentality or some presently politically correct and popular movement or worse, some racist theme.
The truth however is, that an overwhelming percentage of those charged with serious crimes are in fact, guilty as charged. Few lawyers like to publicly say that but it is true. But again, for me, it's
how the government goes about their job that matters to me. I don't spend any time thinking about the heinous details of what my clients did.
I have handled around 35 homicide defendants and what they do if they are acquitted is not my fault. It's the fault of the State. It is the State that was so sure my client murdered someone, not me.
If they are so sure and they have endless resources, then they should be able to convince 12 jurors beyond a reasonable doubt.
I would love to think that each time I won a trial (and no lawyer wins every trial - - that is all Hollywood) it was because of my "efforts" as you write, but that is simply untrue.
The State is responsible in a very major part of how a trial goes down and many times, I am forced to react to the wave they send in motion. The better the Prosecutor, the better the investigation,
the better is the testimony of the State's witness, then the more difficult it is for me to win, regardless of all my "efforts."
However, for me, trials consist of literally 20 hour days (usually 3-4 days per week) and some can last as long as 4 months. I had a client wait in jail for 4 years for his trial to begin and then
we spent 4 months trying the case before a jury. The jury was hung at 11-1 Not Guilty and a Mistrial was declared which is a victory for the defense (State v. Paul Stafford- Passaic County Superior
Court- for those auditing me). During that trial, I had casually asked Paul, in private at counsel table, why it was that he did his whole 6 year sentence just 3 months before being released and allegedly
slitting the throat and killing his hooker girlfriend. Most guys get paroled early but not Paul. Paul was sentenced to 6 years due to a very bad Aggravated Assault. Paul, in response to my question,
calmly leaned over and told me "same thing as here." I asked what happened to the inmate he stabbed and Paul just shook his head, meaning the other guy had died too.
Why does the State even let someone like that out? I don't have the answer for that. Perhaps the previous Prosecutor should not have offered Paul a sweet deal, worked his ass off and tried the case
before a jury.
In the end, we all exercise some free will and the fact that these guys, some of them, repeat their hideous crimes doesn't fall on my conscience. It isn't my job to put them away. It's my job
to test the State's evidence.
I have no guilt about what I do and how well I do it. People pay a premium to have the best and if they pay for it, they should not only expect the best but also, receive it.

Dear Al Doggity,
You wrote: Having an interest in someone else's life is fine. O? Roll Eyes I actually think Craig Richardson has a great physique, but if he started an AMA thread here a week ago, no one would have cared. Yet his training partner got his picture in the paper and people are lining up to ask his opinion and acting like his posts are bodybuilding gospel. That's not meant as a slam against Harley, just the sheep mentality this place frequently exhibits.
I don't think anyone here takes my opinion on the history of bodybuilding any more seriously than they take anyone else's opinion on any other topic. I think it was a call to go on a new and different topic.
Seems to me that Schnauzer was going to like Dorian no matter how much I dislike Dorian and I still dislike Dorian. I have no special insights except for many years of experience and being on the "other
side of the rope" for many conversations between the powers to be and the competitors. That doesn't make me special, but it gives me a bit of insight not always found.
As far as no one caring about Craig posting something, I initially came to this site to learn more about bodybuilding in all its aspects, good and bad. Why wouldn't we want pros coming on here and giving us
tips and advice, as long as they were honest? Wouldn't that save some of us a great deal of time, energy and money? From whom should we get advice? The guy who owns a supplement company who is actually selling us more sugar than he claims?
My posts are nothing close to gospel and I didn't even know my picture was on GetBig until Craig told me. He loves you guys.
Perhaps any interest in what I have to say is solely because I'm a new voice and by next week, no one will care as to what I pontificate or what knowledge I have about losing body fat or
anything else. That is kool too. I just came back on because I thought it was a funny coincidence that my legal career makes this site and not my relationship with Craig.
I appreciate your comments but I think people are just having a good time with a new voice on some dog days of August.
Harley
-
'Fraid not, Harley. The pattern repeats itself way too often. I never said that your posts were gospel, just that certain posters were acting like they were. New voices pop up all the time, but there is a very clear tendency for a lot of guys around here to want to become followers of certain posters. I actually had a discussion about this with another member just last week, but the thread was deleted. The same type of hero worship mentality that led to GH15 gaining so many fans and eventually starting his own board was transferring itself onto you. In case you are unaware, GH15 was an anonymous poster who may or may not have been a pro bodybuilder and at some points was almost certainly a shared gimmick account between certain regular posters. It's one of several times many members on the boards creamed themselves into a fan frenzy.
And I wasn't criticizing Craig. I thought I made that clear. But if he had posted here, most would have criticized his competitive history, called him all drugs, bashed him if he gave training advice without giving his drug protocol, etc. In theory, it would be great to have pros as part of the regular community, but the fact that you don't know why that isn't the case highlights just how little time you've spent on this board. ;)
-
Dear Al Goggity,
I do confess to not having spent great time here nor do I know of the history of GH15.
I appreciate you telling me this.
I can assure you that I have no agenda. I am so bad with computers that I need to hire my "Computer Guy" to teach me how to post photos here.
I can also assure you that I am not running from GetBig with a fan base to start my own site.
I am NOT saying you said I would do any of this, I am merely pointing out that my motives here are different.
As far as not giving "drug protocol", I never said I would not discuss drugs. They are an integral part of the competitive sport.
As an attorney, however, I would put any personal experience in the "hypothetical" for obvious reasons but I think you could forgive that.
As far as drugs, most guys completely miss the boat on what is true. But again, where would you get honest information about that? From the
"chemist" making it in his basement? One of my degrees is in Bio-Chemistry and I can tell you that anyone making gear in his own house has some
real issues regarding impurities and cleanliness. Real labs are very sterile and clean, not like the meth labs you see on fictional television programs.
As a side note, my Ph.D. dissertation was an ethnography of at that time, the East Coast largest steroid dealer. Fascinating stuff, in my opinion.
Quite unlike the psycho babble Alan Klein wrote in his "Little Big Men: Bodybuilding Subculture and Gender Construction." If you believe Klein, we are all
gay, hate our dads and can't have loving relationships and also, can only talk to one another while facing a mirror. I thought he was a real pompous ass.

Harley, man, you don't have to explain anything to me. I have nothing against you personally, and even if I did, who gives a shit? I'm not one of the more well-known members and people argue around here all the time. My point wasn't really about your behavior, but about others.
-
Dear Al Doggity,
The fact that you are, as you put it, "not one of the more well-known members.." is irrelevant to me.
Everyone's voice is equal and should be heard. I wanted to respond so that you knew that I not only ready your post but
didn't dismiss it. Popularity contests ended when I was "released" from high school.
I like your views.

What did you want to hear from him? ??? You said you were a fan of Dorian's and he was a huge inspiration to you... why did Harley's opinion matter to you? It would be one thing if you had asked for more details about the disagreement, but you asked about what he thought of Dorian and his impact on the sport. It just seemed strange. You already knew what his impact on the sport was.

Dear SF 1900,
You asked why I started posting again and the answer is that Craig called me and said there was a picture of me on GetBig.
I immediately panicked figuring it was one of me quite over-weight but I went ahead and looked.
I began laughing at the comments about my hair but felt I needed to 1) Let you guys know that the attorney was actually a "GetBigger" at least in spirit and
2) I'm no Public Defender.
I must say that the positive response is something that completely surprised me and would've bet my house against (actually, I live with my Mom- - I've always lived with
my parents but my Dad passed last year).
Warmed by the positive response and wishing to corroborate the fact that it was really me and not some imposter (which I still couldn't figure out why anyone would impersonate
me) I wrote back a few times. Once I was asked a question, I felt I should respond so I did.
Now that you guys know I live with my Mom, I am sure the crushing will begin. I will say, in my defense, I live here by choice. I could afford my own place.
Oh, I also just remembered one reason I left GetBig and didn't want to come back. Some guy named TBombz kept attacking every single thing I said and then insisted I was gay.
I have no problem with gay people and wish them all the best but the fact is, I am not gay. As I mentioned, I have a terrible addiction for strippers with implants which is well known
by all those around me. I guess I should expect TBombz to come at me again. Oh well.

LOL In the context of what was going on in the thread, yes, it did seem strange. It was not just a shoot-the-shit type of thing. It had already turned into an AMA and even the way the question was phrased and your follow-up were so OTT reverential. Maybe you talk that way to your friends? ;)

All just adds to the enigma of The Breite.By day he defends the poor and weak against The Man, while wearing a bow tie, tuxedo and sporting a fine mane of long hair.By night he fights and lift weights with some of the worlds most muscular men, after which he seduces strippers in his ferrari. But at the same time he displays his softer side by looking after his mother when he has the money for his own place, a true multi layered individual.
Harley, any chance of some glute shots? Maybe while perusing law books from the home library?

Harley,
Can you give us a Captain Morgan pose, wearing nothing but your black belt? Please make sure that your hair is flowing gently as well.
-
Hey Guys,
While I respect whatever sexual proclivities you may have (provided no animal or person is harmed) I am sorry to say that my
devout heterosexuality prohibits me from taking such photos as you have requested. Trust me, photos of me sans clothing will not do much for
anyone in the sense of arousal.
I did disclose that I have always lived with my parents. Again, by choice, but I knew it would raise eyebrows. I'm not rich, but I could live on my own if desired.
However, I felt that my time with my parents (which, statistically, comes to an end before I myself pass away) was far more valuable and important than going out
and having my own place in which I would do nothing that I don't do here.
When it was time to decide on a college, I had narrowed my choices down to 3 out of state schools and Rutgers College in New Brunswick. My Mom had already gone through
2 different surgeries requiring a metal rod fused to her spine. She wore a body cast my Freshman and Junior years in High School while my Dad worked out of state Monday through
Thursday. Helping my Mom came naturally and my Dad had concerns about my Mom if I were to leave and go away to college. They left the choice COMPLETELY up to me and assured me
that anything I would want to do away at college, I could do in my own home. In the end, commuting to Rutgers meant my Dad could retire earlier so it was a pretty easy choice for me.
I just never wanted to leave. Remember, I am not a drinker or smoker so my idea of partying is bringing home a stripper all night. My Mom would routinely offer breakfast and once the
girl left, she would write down her score, 1-10 in terms of how hot the girl was.
So in the end, I went to a state school and made my way ok.
Knowing all this, I still prepare for the funny onslaught.

Dear Che,
1) All straight guys pay for sex. My married friends are carrying mortgages for homes too big for their needs and paying for over-priced colleges.
My single friends pay for drinks and dinners when they date a girl.
2) You also assumed I had to pay directly for sex with the women I meet. Those with some game don't always make a direct pay connection.
3) I never claimed to be great with women, I merely answered the question posed.
Perhaps you have a better way of relieving stress.
Harley
-
Dear Lurker,
You has asked me previously, "Have you ever defended someone and got them acquitted even though you knew yourself that they were guilty?

Dear Las Vegas,
Most of my cases are not "high profile" or worthy of media attention.
I don't seek those cases, they come to me sometimes. I've been doing this for 22 years and I actually fight for my clients unlike some others.
I could care less what the newspapers say about me as they have been critical of me too.
In the end, I am doing the exact opposite of "pissing on the idea of seeking justice" as you wrote.
Most of my clients pay a reduced rate if they can't afford my regular rate and I have many cases, including murder cases
which I take on for free. I just don't publicize it to win favor with the liberal media. Yes, that same media that convicts my clients
before the trial even begins.
As far as "saving my money" and "acting my age," you don't have to worry about my "bank" and if I acted my age, I probably would have to
sit around and make excuses why I've become half the man I was and for me, life is too rich, fragile and short to give up upon.
I don't mind chasing my dreams and failing. It's a whole lot better than taking advice from others as to why nothing is worth taking the risk.
Sometimes falling flat on your own terms is more rewarding than "winning" according to those around you.

Dear Las Vegas,
Well, perhaps I owe you a bit of an apology if my tone was a bit harsh.
Sometimes, emails, texts and this type of communication makes it hard to know
the right tone in which something was sent.
I acknowledge how odd it is that I have always lived at home and even gave up going to
some other better colleges in order to just stay home. My parents had their share of snide
comments made to them, including asking my Dad if I were gay.
My Dad, in an angry response, told once such lady, "my son fucks more stripes than Hugh Hefner, he's not gay."
My Dad was just pissed but he really did retort like that.
Coincidentally, I have been to the Playboy Mansion on 2 occasions and have access anytime I go to California
through a very close friend of mine. I am prepared for the audit.

Harley, I really don't think you're that unusual in your situation. I'm sure you're due to get the property, anyway, so you're essentially minding your future interests. No one can deny that, and no one can deny that watching out for your mom is the right thing to do. These things are pretty basic.
-
Harley, do you struggle with sarcasm and certain styles of jokes sometimes?
-
Dear Waller,
That is a funny question. I don't think I struggle with sarcasm as I dish out platefuls of sarcasm on a routine basis.
I have what you would call a dry sense of humor which doesn't translate well through emails. My sense of humor is something of
which I am proud because you have to laugh or life will crush you. And, you have to be able to laugh at yourself too or you're just
wrapped too tight to enjoy life.
As far as styles of jokes, I don't particularly laugh at racist jokes but that's just me.
I support the First Amendment so let people say what they want.
I will note one thing: In Brasil, if someone cuts you off while driving and you give that guy the finger and say "Fuck You", that guy will stop his car
and be willing to fight you. Here, in America, the bravest of the brave are those guys who yell "Fuck You" and hit the gas if they entered a race. I don't
condone people fighting but no one should provoke another without some legitimate reason.

condone people fighting but no one should provoke another without some legitimate reason.
Harley
I only ask because of how you seem to come across in some of your replies to jokes. It may be purely because this is all text but it's a bit Sheldon Cooper'esque at times, so I just wondered.
You seem like a cool and fun dude but at the same time appear very formal and serious at all times here.

Dear Kim Jong Bob,
Thanks but everyone is doing something for someone out there, whether it's a family member, friend or stranger.
I am just fortunate that I have the resources to do the parties and some of the other less publicized things.
I should make a note for the previous poster, Las Vegas in that I've had several newspaper writers ask me to come to
the parties and write an article and I declined them all. I don't want that type of publicity. I only put the videos on YouTube
because I had no other way for my 200 "Special Persons" and their families to see the parties on video.
Just getting out of bed everyday and not being mentally or physically challenged means I have already been blessed and to let
jerk off, negative people ruin my day at work is just not acceptable. Their misery does not give them a right to attempt to compound their
failings and disappointment into mine.
So, who's coming to my next party in October? I invited everyone.
What about my idea for a free Craig Richardson Train/Seminar/Eat Day?
Harley
-
Dear Waller,
That Sheldon Cooper stuff is very funny. I liked that show for many years until the writers' boredom was impossible to disguise and they cut
short the hair of that blonde.
I guess I'm just initially a bit cautious or guarded here on GetBig given my first go at it some time ago.
Believe me, I can take a joke launched at me pretty well.
My skin is thicker than you might imagine (of course, once my metabolism speeds up a bit, that will take care of some of it)

Hey Guys,
I was curious about something.
I see you guys write quite a bit about Tren. Is that because you guys like it or hate it?
I sense you are fed up with the abuse of insulin among the pros.
There is that one simple, easy, tell all test to make sure the Tren is real, but you guys never talk about that.

Ron pretty much does the same thing with Getbig.
-
I haven't used tren, either. What's the test someone might do on it, H?
-
Perhaps not to the only nor the exclusive manner in which to detect if your Tren is real, is to see if within minutes (less than even 2 minutes) after injecting,
you are forced to heavily and repeatedly cough.
I know you are laughing right now, but I personally know of people who will NOT buy any Tren unless it immediately makes you cough.
Inside Pro Tip if you want to believe me.

Doesn't tren cough only happen if you pin a vein?
-
Absolutely no
-
A big dose must cause some to get into the lungs, even w/o hitting vein, probably. That would make the body try to violently expel it.
I've heard tren cough can range from mild to horrible... so maybe it depends how much hits the lungs.
???
-
Even as little as 1 cc can do it. Strange drug.
-
Harley, have you figured out how to post pics yet?
-
My Computer Guy had to cancel but I will have that in order by the end of this coming week.
I'm afraid to ask what photos you would like to see but go ahead and make suggestions.

I think I did once, and I was glad I knew about tren cough. My throat started closing up. If I didn't know how it affected the throat I think I'd have shit myself.

Since you're the only one who knows what photos you have, it concerns me that you'd say that.
;D (just joking, Harley). I saw where you were unsuccessfully trying to get help with that, that's why I asked.
It is really easy. Will make a post that will show you one way, then will describe another way in another post. I don't know if it will help you, but I hope so.

North korea or south korea ?
-
Harley, look at upper-right on post (w pic) above and click 'Quote'. You can copy-paste that to use for any pic from the internet, and it will automatically resize for you if it's too big.
That's one way to post a pic.

Harley, you are at a well known hotel in Las Vegas, the receptionist sees you and gives you the choice of 2 rooms, room 6 and room 7, which do you choose?
-
If you want to put up a pic from your comp... start your post as usual, then click 'additional options', then 'choose file'.
If you have any trouble, say so. Once you've done it with success, you will never have a problem with it again.
The people of Getbig will make sure you can do it (me included).

Dear Army of One,
You asked me a question "Harley, you are at a well known hotel in Las Vegas, the receptionist sees you and gives you the choice of 2 rooms, room 6 and room 7, which do you choose?"
I must admit your question spooked me a bit as I just now returned home from Las Vegas, where I took my family for a short vacation. I thought perhaps GetBig had cameras in the
Check In section of the hotel. What a coincidence.
To answer your question in what I would imagine is true GetBig format, I respond by saying, "Listen wench, I need both rooms. Room 6 is where you will meet me in 20 minutes to bath me, satisfy me and bring me a sandwich when I am finished.
Room 7 is where you will lay out my clothes, turn my tv on and then leave me alone.

Dear Kim Jong Bong,
You asked me "North or South Korea?"
I am not exactly sure the parameters of your question and I certainly have no interest in either espousing or discussing politics but here is my attempt
at giving you an honest answer:
Personally, in my own opinion, I am frustrated with the state of this country. We lack the conviction to do what is right because of media driven ideology
and the hysterical knee-jerk, overblown reactions to virtually every issue or crisis. It seems, to me, that America has lost its will not to care what every piece of
some European "thinker" or "critic" says about us and just march in and get the job done, quickly, professionally and without prolonged and needless waste of
American life and resources. Still haven't figured out why we saved Kuwait and I pay $3.00 per gallon of gas and they pay pennies. They don't even eat but for American
forces saving them from an invading despot. We save everyone but ourselves. I'm all for Sean Penn going to Haiti but how about a little help here? We don't have
a health system that cares, our public school system is deplorable and we need more animal shelters.
What I find interesting is that a 32 year old can "run" a country and impose fear on the rest of the world without much impunity. Kim Jong-un doesn't seem entirely crazy
yet he strikes enough fear in "established" diplomats to remain free from interference from other countries. I may not agree with some of the subjugation he imposes but you
could admire someone so young who is so sure of himself and willing to throw a stare down to all the rest of the world. America is being laughed at and this 32 year old is one of
those doing the laughing. It just makes me think.

Well, I think my frustrations are felt by many other Americans who would rather see us stay out of someone else's problem than get
involved only to a degree that creates more self detriment than benefit.
Perhaps it is sometimes best to permit other children to fight it out in their own sandbox so that they come to better appreciate the
sandbox of others.

glad to have you here. a voice of wisdom. most of those have been forced off getbig by other companies over the years.
-
Dear 240 is Back,
Given that I am no one in the world of bodybuilding and sit prostrate to no one in that world, there is no chance of any
company forcing me off GetBig.
If I left GetBig again, it would be my own choice and not due to bowing down to pressure from some huge conglomerate
designed to sell fake, bullshit product to people who earnestly believe it will help them achieve their dreams. They are deceivers and
"dream robbers" if their products are a sham and I won't be part of that.
Also, I have some inside news on a very big supplement company.
One of the biggest names out there has failed to pay one of its athletes, a very famous UFC star from New Jersey.
I haven't seen that written anywhere on GetBig yet so, again, remember that I wrote it first when it hits big.
Harley

Harley
Dear Harley
I'm sorry I thought you were a gimmick. You are like totally cool and I hope you post more often. :)

Dear HarleyBreite,
Perhaps I expect more from an expert trial lawyer and BJJ champion with silky, silvery coiffed long locks, but "Personally, in my own opinion," is redundant. Please exercise the rules of auctorial parsimony going forward. Moreover, your allusion to the N. Korean fathead should read "with impunity." I remind you that you stand before the court of Getbig, where clarity of expression and scented lube are required for the tribunal to masturbate adjudicate evenhandedly.
I await your response to _aj_’s important question.
Thank you, and have a good day.

Dear AJ,
There is absolutely no way I could curl 175 barbell.
I was never a very strong lifter (except on legs) as I concentrated on training as heavy as I could but
without ever forfeiting too much good form.
I've seen too many guys getting hurt attempting to move weights far beyond their limit.
Craig and I never flat bench with a bar as we both feel that is how virtually ever pec tear occurs.

Dear AJ,
I am unfamiliar with the man previously pictured.
His claims of strength are quite prodigious but there are those out there who are quite naturally
strong despite physiques which would imply otherwise.
The best I have ever done on Incline Dumbbells was 120 pounds for 10 reps.
The best I have ever done on Squats is 405- 10, 500- 15, 550- 10 & 600- 2

Khan, I am fan of yours, but i must warn you that i will not tolerate any grandiloquent displays of intellectual pomposity, when the purpose is to mock a man of Harley's stature. He is a radical, not to be constrained by the rigours of grammatical correctness. We are fortunate to have him here, therefore i must ask that you refrain from any pedantic outbursts in future.
I would also like to condemn your shameful and utterly reprehensible attack on an indefatigable champion of socialism, supreme leader Kim Jong-Un. To describe such a man as a "N-Korean fathead", is simply inexcusable.
;D
OK, CaptainFreedom, I shall have to revisit my thoughts on these matters.
Mr. Breite,
Thank you for answering _aj_'s question. Those are very good lifts; especially, for one with with such a flowing mane (even if it resembles that of a syphilitic lion).
Have a nice evening.
-
Dear AJ,
Seeing as you have been very generous in educating my on the ways of GetBig, may I ask a question of you?
Someone was kind enough to start a thread called "Harley Breite Appreciation Thread" to which I have been responding.
Apparently, my personal Judaism has affronted someone known as Wiggs who is adamant in convincing me of things
unrelated to bodybuilding.
It appears I have angered Wiggs. I feel a bit guilty in angering someone so quickly but I just wanted to
come here for some bodybuilding and good, kool stories.
My Question: Should I feel guilty in angering one of you beloved members?

Do not worry yourself about angering Wiggs. While he is a beloved member, he is quick to anger and quick back to humor. He has odd beliefs, which are perfectly in keeping with the oddity of us all.

I know you didn't ask me but Wiggs is a pot head who claims the earth is flat and that there's an invisible planet close to the earth that nobody has ever seen. So no, you shouldn't feel guilty.
-
Wiggs is hating me on the other thread. Does he lift weights?
Harley,
That's not Wiggs hating. That's "Professor Wiggs" dishing out "knowledge". Just let the absurdity wash over you.
For instance, by all accounts, I am a normal and rational family man with a good job, yet I have just spent the past 3 days arguing with an Iranian midget in London about who "owns" who, physique wise. Is this the actions of a sane man? Hard to say. As I said, let the absurdity wash over you and don't fret too much over any part or you shall miss the beauty of its entirety.

Hartley,
What is your opinion of some of the well-known East coast "establishment," like Jim Manion or Mr. Bev Francis? Got any stories? Negative ones preferably?
-
Not much of a friend imho.
-
Dear SaintAnger,
I know you won't like my responses but here goes:
Jim Manion- I have never met him. All I can say is that he has always been nice to Craig when Craig wished to enter a contest
past the "due date."
Steve Weinberger- I have met Steve many times and he has been nothing but generous and nice to me. He may not appear to be loquacious,
but Steve has sat down with me and offered me advice on Craig's career which proved to be very beneficial. Steve is very knowledgeable with
regard to the sport of bodybuilding and he definitely knows how to set up and run a successful gym. For those who want to train at a gym with
real energy, his is a great place. Every time I walk through the door, I taste the hardcore nature. Of course, he has regular people in their too but
you can go there on any afternoon and see top notch physiques, competitors and pro bodybuilders. I did recount the story of how nice Bev was to me
some years ago when I lost all my 16 tickets to the NY Pro and she personally took me and all my people and sat us in our correct seats. She was very
nice to me and at a time when she could not have been more busy or had more stress placed upon her.
Whatever the politics of bodybuilding might be, they are no different than in any other endeavor. At least here, in bodybuilding, we can all see for ourselves
just who has dedicated themselves to the sport and who hasn't. Steve has dedicated himself, in many aspects, to the sport and while no one is perfect, he runs
a great gym, a tight show and has good advice to give if you can get it.
Sorry if this isn't what you wanted but I have to be honest.
Harley
-
Wiggs is hating me on the other thread. Does he lift weights?
Wiggs is a delusional plantationinhabitant that is nothing to worry about,
Pay no heed to his outbursts about Hebrews or whatnot. He sees the world as dark instead of light.
To him everything is black.
He also worships Nibiru and is awaiting the return of King Ghidora from Planet X.

I did not receive yours. Would you please send it again.
I wanted to say that I have received quite a few (some for legal advice) and I have
ALWAYS replied.
However, I never once received confirmation that my response was received. If there is anyone
who sent me an PM who didn't get the response they requested, please let me know but I really did
answer anyone who sent the PM.
