Natural's don't have this problem, no matter how fat they get offseason, look at true adonis, he was a fat fuk at 240 plus, but now has tiny tight waist and looks great. It's the slin gh combo imo.

I agree, the body is pretty elastic and adjust to what ever form it needs to.
his best hope would be to take a year off and detox from the GH/Sling. hopefully the stomach wall will re-adjust to a normal state

if he's gonna do this "sport" then he needs to do 4 shows a year, that way he won't be able to get too out of shape and do something about those horrible arms and legs, shit get calf implants if they won't grow.

When he did his routine his gut was HUGE! it was stickig so far out I couldn't believe it. It's like instead of making any improvements he's going backwards. In the Rear double biceps his back looked pretty bad too.

King needs to take 12 months off everything... hardcore training, drugs, the works... not allow himself to get too fat.
still train calves twice a week though.
I bet if he did this and then hit it he'd be able to come back in decent shape within 6 months of starting "training" again... his body is maxed out right now though and needs a big rest

Corset training actually could help with a huge gut.
But you have to take it seriously. Hours, days, weeks, months before your body responds, organs shift to accomodate abdominal restructuring.
Also, taking time off for a year or so of whatever he is doing could make a difference.

You would have to go to a fetish website to find out about it.
Very interesting...As the waistline gets smaller, the internal organs shift to accommodate loss of space.
One would have to confer with an expert in this field to get all of the facts and proper use of corsets.
Does wonders for the posture. One can not slouch while in a corset. A real one can cost at least $100.00

I don't know the science behind this stuff and was asking a question. It just seems so bizarre to me that someone would do this to themselves when you have many examples of the negative results right in front of you.
If I were him, I would retire immediately and open a supplement company in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, etc and market to those people. At least he could have some financial security for the future. What future is there is in pursuing awards of a few thousand dollars and some sponsorships when the lifestyle is costing at least that amount???? It makes no sense to me.

His hair is starting to go too. Not the end of the world, but it shows that his system really is breaking down. God knows what the pics from the Montreal show will look like.
I think what is happening is that at 34 y/o, he is seeing that at most he last like 5 years left in this sport. In that time frame, given the current state of things, he knows that he is never going to win the Olympia with Jay and many others still in the game and probably will have to do something drastic to win a show, on any level. Is it worth risking your health over?
If you look at his early pics, he looked good, symetrical, and with potential. Somewhere along the way, something happened, perhaps too much eating? Too much drugs? who knows.
It is sad for sure. Threatening lawsuits is a joke.
I will say however, the "train wreck" factor is very entertaining.

King is using the wrong technique (IMO)...the carb loading is not working in his favor. Some people can shove food down their throats and they will carb up very nicely...others will hold a ton of water, and look better vdepleated....KIng's body responds better to the latter.
Why do you think his 2 week out, 1 wek out photo's always looked so impressive? What changes in those last few days? Simple....CARB loading. King has made the appropriate changes and will come in MUCH less carb loaded, much drier, and with a MUCH smaller waistline.
Another technique is to spread out the meals and cut down th volume per meal...this also will allow the stomach to shrink accodingly, without having to hold (and process) such a large volume of food.
I predict Kings best showing since the 2001 I.M.

Maybe, but against whom? In 2001, he went up against Coleman, Cormier, Dennis, Dexter, Melvin at the Arnold and actually beat Dexter and Melvin by taking 4th. He'll be lucky to get 4th in a 2006 show where the best guys are:
1) A 42 yr old washed-up Paul Dillett
2) A bloated and ruined Art Atwood
3) Perennial 2nd tier pros like Johnnie Jackson, Darrem Charles, George Farah and Quincy Taylor
4) Perennial 3rd tier losers like Henderson Thorne, Idris El Ward, Frank Roberson and Rodney St. Cloud
Let's compare apples to apples. The competition has gone down the shitter and King is doing worse each year.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard the phrase..."Hasn't looked this good since he turned pro..." in reguards to 2nd/ 3rd year pro's.
What the common denominator? WEIGHT.
King weighed 225 lbs. when he won the Nationals and turned pro in 1999...2 years later, achieved his best ever conditioning at the Ironman and Olympia at 241-242 lbs., still held on in 2003 at the NOC at 245....every show since thn has come in anywhere from 245-258 lbs.
The key for him, is to come in at HIS best weight...not everyone else's best weight.
He comes in at 245-46 at the Montreal...it's a diferent deal. Who he's competing against is irrelevant...were comparing King against King.

i agree everyone is different...i saw king on a video a few years ago talking about "shit loading"... can be easy to go overboard and ruin everything in the last few days.
i see guys getting good result from a more controlled carb up...but i think its best to stay with the high glycemic carbs to start then switch over to potatos...especially if your doing a depletion phase before the carb up....the glycogen sintetase is very fast right after a depletion ...but it seems like the guys who carb up only on potatos are the same guys who always look best monday after the show.

he can control his weight but his symmetry is unchangable (for the better) .....its only getting worse, even if he droppd 25 lbs the waist just looks bigger and the arms and legs smaller. its done, over, finished, but at least it provided us youngsters a warning which we had better heed

I mean, he may be able to bring the belly down if he doesn't load up as much, but his arms and legs are a lot smaller than they were in 2001.

Agreed. So are you the only one who can't see that the difference between King 2006 and King 2001 is not 5-10 lbs as you say, but more glaring differences:
1) His waist has gotten substantially thicker (at least 3-4 inches).
2) His legs are not as big or cut as they used to be.
3) His conditioning from the rear (his old trademark) is completely shot.
4) His arms have actually gotten worse in shape and size.
5) His calves appear to have gotten smaller.
6) He has lost all of his taper.
7) His belly appears to be permanently bloated (the way Titus used to be when King mocked him at the NOC).
8) His face appears to have aged 10 years in 5 years.
9) His thick Arabian hair is disappearing.
10) His fanbase has disappeared faster than a Big Mac in front of a post-contest Lee Priest.
In other words, it's not the WEIGHT, it's the AGING of the SHAPE.
We saw the same thing happen with Gaspari, Fux, Sonbaty, Atwood. Once the placings drop...they NEVER return.

Kings guts tends to be a combination of two factors , excessive bloating via food and water and cell size of the gut and abdominal tissue !!
The later cant be reversed effectively as this is usually a result of high ongoing GH and hormone use over a extended period of time , for one to decrease the tissue size of this area one would have to decrease their overall lean mass status and since the body does not site reduce ,the desired effect of decreasing the lean tissue in the problem area is not a plausible option as he would have to loose muscle tissue else where at the same time , the only plausible way would to be go clean and refrain from training over a period of time as to achieve a overall decline in muscle mass and with that his stomach should also loose hytrophy ability at the same time !!
He can however do himself a big favour by coming into the show with out trying to Hyper load his muscles with glycogen , and refrain from using insulin to aid this effect , as i mentioned in another post a few days ago he needs to come in semi depleted into a show and then use Glycerol to aid muscle pumps and fullness prior to walking on stage , in this semi depleted state his stomach should be smaller (not as bloated) but this will not decrease the volume of tissue in that area , but it should make a marked improvement to his look overall !!!

Once upon a time I had nice little car. It was small but as I said nice. Put a lot of time, effort and money into it, go it up to a level where it even did well in shows and magazines. Well time has went on and the competition from others is extreme, the cost of new upgrades cost more and the taste of people has changed. So no matter what i do to this once beatiful car that was all the rage it never looks like it used to nor gets the compliments it used to.
I guess its time to either quit with this car and love it for what it once was or send it to the junk yard.

I don't know about that. ;D I just got here in Montreal a short while go. King will be arriving tomorrow afternoon and I will be with him from then on. I have been firends with King for around 5 or 6 years and I can tell you that I did not come all the way to freakin Canada to hold his hand. No predictions but will do some updates if anyone is interested. Wonder if there are any French hotties around here. ;D Too bad I don't speak French.

Bob, Not a knock on King but isn't it possible that he took the hormones as far as they will take him and over the past few years, his body just isn't reacting to them like before? If i look at kings photos from all the years past, i have never really seen him peeled from the waist down...He has either came in spilled over or depleted. And although i think he looks much better in the depleted state, he still has to stand next to guys who are ripped to shreds and didn't miss their mark who weren't standing next to him in his 1 to 2 week out shots which make King look fantastic...Bob you don't even Squat anymore and your quads look twice the size of Kings(i know their not) but kings quads always look like a good state bodybuilders....Kings legs from the side are hard to beat and look incrediable but are exposed from the front...I hope he gets it together but i just wonder if his body is done....Just doesn't look like its reacting...

insulins a hormone that can build muscle or make you fat,depending in what state your bodies in when you take it, ive never used it myself but ive got lots of friends that do so my knowledge is purely from what ive read and seen from my friends.i think the reason its used mostly is because if you take growth hormone that makes your insulin levels go down and because it is an extremely anabolic hormone then that wouldnt be a good thing.apparently if you have high levels of GH youll have low levels of insulin and the other way round,so if you take them both in a needle it will have a high anabolic effect.igf-1 is insulin like growth factor and i think that it is just another very anabolic hormone like insulin.theres other effects these hormones can be manipulated to do but i think the ones i said are the main function's that bodybuilders are interested in.

What is really crazy here is that you have people with very little experience or training or education playing with this stuff like a chemistry set using desperate people like Kamali as the guinea pig.
Kamali is probably looking for anything to improve his chances right now and is vulnerable to try anything or believe whatever any self labeled "guru" has to say while playing russian roulette with his health.

Lets put it this way, it seems to me that the following is true:
Some people can take roids in silly amounts and still never be or look like a "pro bodybuilder"
BUT
No "pro bodybuilder" can look like a "pro bodybuilder" without taking silly amounts of roids.

Wring, I have been lifting for 15 years clean. Even if I don't lift or take a break for time, I don't lose the foundation underneath. My weight does not fluctuate 50 60 lbs. Structurally, you can tell a guy who was all roids when he was off versus a person who lifts clean but either puts on fat or stops training.

Insulin is the most powerfull hormone in the human body ---in body building it is used in conjunction with recumbent Hgh use , Hgh on its own is a relatively useless substance with only a life of about 30 mins with in the body once administrated , it is with in this time that the hormone insulin is needed to synergise with the hgh to create IGF1, it is this hormone that then last up 3-4 days within the body promote new cellular growth !!Hence why Hgh and insulin use is combined for growth purposes.
Insulin use also promotes Hyper loading of nutrients and glycogen into the muscle cells (its job normally in the body) thus increasing the size of the existing cells via increased fluid uptake, bodybuilders use insulin during the "carbload" phase to hyper load the cells with glycogen giving the muscles a full and tight look , although the problem can be all cells are hyper loaded thus causing excessive stomach bloat and in many cases water spillage , thats when the cell can hold no more and it spills out subcutaneously under the skin, plus a lot of competitors use the wrong source of carbs . like potatoes , rice etc which are starchy hi GI intakes when they should first use a Fluid carbohydrate source then switch to low GI intake Like Sweetpatatoe , a good combo is peaches and sweetpatatoe , plus allot of competitors should ideally slow down there carbs the day out before the show and switch to high protein to help the dehydration effect and to ensure against excessive loading and bloat !!

No GH makes you produce MORE insulin. GH makes you resistant to insulin though, so even more might be "needed".

Now this is interesting, wonder if someone can give a serious response, as no one did from before - Question for Mr. Shawn Ray, Mr. Lee Preist or Mr. Bob Chic. Where would you start in regards to improvements? Is it possible to get rid of the gut Kamala has?
Kamali needs to learn what it means to be a pro. He must realize that this is not a nine to five job, but an all-around, 24-7 one. First, he needs to be more professional about his diet and training; this guy truly needs to put on 20 lbs of mass to be truly competitive on the pro landscape, and he most definitely needs to tighten his abs and serratus. Furthermore, he definitely needs to seek the help of an endocrinologist, because whatever drugs he's taking, it's just plain not working for him - look like soft and spilled over with water his physique is.
Now, I'm getting to the crux of the problem: training. Irrespective of drugs, you just won't fill out your physique with cable movements and cybex machines. Kamali truly needs to start hitting very, very heavy squats, deads and front military presses with a free bar, because his base of muscle mass truly sucks. I recommend that he pyramid his sets down to triples on these three exercises, taking all sets to failure: it is the only way for him to achieve the size and density that is required in modern pro bodybuilding, and that I know he's capable of achieving. Kamali has to realize that his ideal weight is a super-hard 265 lbs, not the soft 250 lbs he keeps bringing to the table. He'll never win a Sandow, but I know for sure he can be a top-tier pro and win the Ironmen, ASC, etc.

Lee bulked to the max and doesn't look like that. Didn't Lee eat a bucket of chicken a day in the off-season? But then again, Lee is "all natural" in the off-season. I heard he only uses a small dose of two drugs to slim down. A shot of something and an oral - I think? No G.H. Clen. Slin or anything fancy like that. I heard that anyway, but don't quote me.
Anywho, I don't see how it can be all the food, when many old school's bulked to the max. and slimmed down nicely.
