No, we're not arguing. Don't go down the rabbit hole of a retard like Necrosis. I'm trying to get you to put forth an honest and straightforward argument rather than bob, dodge, weave, deny, and flat out lie.
As far as I'm concerned, in order to maintain a civilized society, we have to FORCE certain behaviors. So, when the question is asked, the answer is 'yes', we are arguing that it's right and justified to force religious people to do something that they don't believe in.
I like to put it that all people must obey the law...we can't start giving out special dispensations for people to opt out of laws...especially laws banning discrimination....becaus
e we are such a unique and multi culrtural society, if everyone didn't obey discrimination laws there would be chaos.....so my definitive answer is, practice your religion anyway you see fit...until it clashes with the rights of others...then we have a problem.....
Thats like religious groups or those who are religious saying.."I'm not gonna sell you a cake because you have had an abortion"...I just say to the religious groups, mind your own business.
Now I do defend the right of said religion not to let gays or people who have had abortions into the religion to worship.......since that might be based on a moral ground where you want people in your religion to act as you do.....understandable...
.but maybe not the best practice either
