how many of you Train arms together or seperate Bi's from Tri's. I've been training bi's with chest and Tris with shoulders for awhile now and now that i've gone back to training them together on their own day they grew.

I used to train them on after shoulders. But at mo im doing bis with chest on fridays, and tris with shoulder/back on mondays.

I did like training them together tho so might go back to that.

both options are viable... depends on what works fo you... in my case i love doing BIs after back and TRIs after shoulders...

I do chest/tris and back/bis.  You are already using your bis when your doing back so why work them twice in one week.  Most people should take a full week to recover each muscle group if they are hitting them heavy and intense.  It really depends though on what works for you.

Yeah, I do arms on Friday, bis/tris/forearms. Seems to be working for me. Although, my bi's do start getting pretty wrecked towards the end.

yes this is what i do. I found my energy level just wasnt what it could be after training chest so this way i can alternate training tri's first then bi's and so on.

bis after back. Your biceps get a pretty good workout while doing back anyways so why not just finish them off then.

Tried this, but my bis didnt grow, also i like to hit my back hard and im just completly drained after it so i have having to do things afterwards.

I typically train them together. I got more gains this way than any other workout I have ever used.






If it works for legs then it will work for arms as well! 8)

I train them together following shoulders. Since I felt tris were lacking, I switched to doing shoulders/tris/bis in that order and felt pretty good with that, also doing more work for tris, since I feel my bis naturally respond better. I don't work forearms at all, nor calves.

I personally train arms on the same day by them selves. I generally work either 1 big or 2 small muscle groups in one workout. I find it easier to focus and really pound each group in 30min or so.

I train biceps and triceps on separate days.  However, because the routine is constantly evloving, I'm sure the time will come where I train them on the same day.  I am interested in reports of great pumps when both muscle groups are being worked.

Why would you train Bi's with chest instead of bi's with back?  Since one is pulling and one is pushing.,

The best way i've found is I do this like a two week split.
Week one, I work back, then biceps, I know i'll be weak on bi's after back so I rep on that bicep day.

Chest that week, i'll work triceps with chest but i'll rep on tri's instead of heavy work.

The next week, monday i'll do chest
tuesday i'll do biceps,
i'll take wednesday off, then thursday i'll have an arm day so i can go heavy on both bi's and tri's.

bi's and tri's at the same time is awesome...a full arm pump! nothing makes you feel better...besides the end of a leg workout
