Playboy trains at the same gym as this missing link. Somewhere in Toronto, if I remember correctly, and not doing a whole lot of heavy lifting (besides moving his carcass about). Ask him.

Despite his limited aesthetic potential, whatever Chad did for pre-contest prep only sucked him bone dry, glycogen included. He's not holding any water, but it doesn't look like he did any kind of carb-up whatsoever. He could have looked better with someone who took more time with him....

Essentially, he is.

All the megadosing he's been doing since a young age has effectively changed not only his body structure but his body chemistry as well.

Mainly it was the GH/IGF-1/Insulin......any combination of those.

I can't even imagine what kind of doses he was doing.

He had the perfect build for powerlifting, plus the genetic makeup for it. He was already strong to begin with. I have no idea what made him go in to bodybuilding but his ceiling was reached early on when you saw him in those MuscleMag covers. After that is was all downhill.....

He bailed from Gold's. Who knows what happened to him. Maybe some health problems? Sad.

Super nice guy. Definately big. Just not nearly as strong as all the Muscletech Ad claims. He doesn't do free weights. His big lifts are all done on smith machines and with no more then 4 plates per side for chest and 2 plates and a quarter per side for front presses for shoulders. Very low intesity. Henderson Thorn hit the nail on the had when he said that you only get out of it what you put into it.
