I'm done with this. No matter how I explain it, it won't come across.
Seasoned players know how to manipulate their instrument. It's not based on price, what wood they use or the name brand.
Argue all you want. But it's in the hands. I'll reiterate, gear has something to do with it, but in the overall scope of things, it's the players themselves that produce the sound.

For 1,399$ I say it's worth it. Although if you have it I'd even go with an EJ model. It's neck radius is a little flatter.

That is a great price. We in Australia would have to pay atleast an extra $500 US for the same guitar.. Hey did you notice the telecaster I put together? See page 1 of this thread. I used orig 59-60 hardware & pots (except the bridge) that I have been buying over the net. The neck is customshop, the body is a early nineties US standard.
