Two points, Intel Core 2 Duo's are the class of the dual core processors right now, the AMD is a distant second. And those Blu-Ray computer drives are around $1,000 a pop and up until just recently there was no software available that could play Blu-Ray disks on a computer. I hope your computer came with WinDVD BD or you won't be watching any Blu-Ray movies.
Also, I hope you bought a high end LCD to go along with all that graphics power.
You are wrong. AMD are the top in most gamers opinion. Clearly a step ahead for what I want to use this computer for. I bought an HD LCD and will soon be moving this computer to a 40 inch LCD.
I already have Blu-Ray discs and a few movies. Blu-Ray will take over soon as most major companies and movie studios have signed on.
I also have 2 other drives as well with DVD burning. So no problem there.
AMD though, clearly outperforms Intel`s new chip. I have had both.
