quit being so ignorant...elevated pushups are probably around 80 percent of bodyweight.. for me im guessin that about 190 pounds. so i think that isnt a bad weight at all. i doubt you could do it. any fat boy with some lifting experience can put up 300 pounds for a few sets big deal
Never seen a picture of me and you say "I doubt you could do it". That explains in one sentence why I have been on your case about this post. You did the work for me.
Someone truly confident can just come out and say the way it is and not have to put other people or their methods down.
Your training methods are only cheating yourself. I just hope no impressionable board member thinks you have some new age, shock the bodybuilding community training methods. It would just be a shame to see anyone but you waste your time with this.
Today I'll train chest and biceps. I will warm up with sets of 20 and do working sets from 15 reps down to 6, increasing weight as I go down. I wont fly around the gym pulling myself up, I wont flop on the ground and push my body weight up either. I'll use the heaviest weight I can handle, change my angles and explode at the bottom of each rep.
My point is, you do what you do and I'll do what I do. We will just disagree and let either the girls on the beach or the judges at the bottom of the stage do our talking for us. I'm down with that.
