easy there mike the virgin strange ... all kings lawyers have to do is create doubt about the circimstances surrounding the late payments and issac is fucked ... ie its not the definition of slander you need to finger your butt hole to, its the interpretation of what dingbat wrote on the website
Sandy,

I don't really understand your reply, but I like the name "Mike the Virgin Strange". May I use that?

There are always two different sides to a story and it's funny how you left out the details of what really happened. King asked you several times to bill him on a monthly basis. You ignored him requests and then bill him $1200 after 8 months. What took you so long to bill him?? Why did you ignore his requests??

I remember months ago King telling me that Issac was not billing him and that he was not getting back to him about it. Now all of the sudden he shows up with a $1200 bill to be paid on full immediately or he will shut the site down with a big message about not being paid. Sounds pretty immature to me. Looks like 240 is going to get even more business.  ;D

Disgusted, I like you man you're a good guy. Let King fight his own battles. He asked me to bill him on a WEEKLY basis only after I told him I was taking the site down and I said that was unnacceptable as I had sent numerous requests since June for payment. I was being nice, too nice and he took advantage of that. I have email proof from King if need be that shows our discussions via email. It wasn't from lack of billing, I have those emails and paypal has the invoice notices when sent.

I proved my point and I'm letting it go at that is unless you and King want to push the issue. Trust me it's not one he wants to go down and he knows it.

Peace

Would you prefer the meltdown emails, the invoices or the voicemail meltdown?

You know what Issac, you knew exactly what you were doing. By posting that is site was down due to lack of payment, you were hoping it would end up on here. In fact, you knew it would! That is pretty low. Also, as far as King fighting his own battles, making this post public made it open season for everyone, just the way you intended all long.

I only posted AFTER King did. Note that I did not post anything on this board until King did and I posted this to set the record straight.

Again, let it go man.

There's plenty of ways to get paid without bringing it public. All Isaac has done is show he is cheap and low class dealing with accounts recievables in this way, and I'm fairly certain nobody has a different opinion of King than they did prior to this news. Anyone who thought he was a shitbag still does, and anyone else could care less about this website crap.

Again, $1200? $12K, I could understand being upset. Maybe even $5K, but regardless of the cost it should never be publicly stated that there is a problem.

I've got people that owe me much, much more. One of them is a celebrity athlete. Sure, I could attempt to publicly humiliate him but that does me more harm than him. I'll get my money, I'm sure of it...because I provide a service my customers need over and over and I do it better than my competition. That's how it's done.

Lift Studios, i can respect you and your opinions.....but Man that was inappropriate of you dude.I actually remember and am familiar with you BECAUSE of Kamali giving you guys a plug on his PBW appearence. The adds are worthlesss ,  we all fastforward through them or dont really give a shit

Disgusted is right , you know they way things work and you knew that you posting sucha thing on kings site would make a splash.Yes you got paid , but to your detriment.Do you think now that kamali would want to continue a busniess relationship with you after you embarassed him by putting up some degreding statement like that ?

I doubt that he would. You think kamali has a problem with money???? Also , it doesnt bode well for your future customers if they see you acting this immaturely. It was the WRONG thing to do

I understand that you tried to sort things out , but there was a CLASSIER course of action right next to you that you shouldve taken

Embarrassing a public figure over 1200?

The implication of such a statement is clear: Kamali is broke.

LS knew somebody would see this and jump all over it.

Not handled well at all.

If he would've picked 240 none of this would've happen. That guy is cheap!

*blush*

I'm def not commenting on this situation.

Personally, when money issues do come up, I try to find creative solutions.  For instance, if a client needs updates and is short on cash, I might offer to do them free to put my banner on his/her website for a while.  Or maybe a "Send me a friend who buys a site and I'll do this or that for free".  While money isn't always there, clients have a wealth of relationships and networks that I do not have.  It's a win-win when we can turn a tough period into an opportunity. :)
