NorCal has all the above too. We have the Pot Club, where if you're a member, you walk in get your stash and walk out, though you do have to have a medicinal purpose for it to be legal.
Nationalities, the North probably has more people of different heritages than SoCal, I'd almost be willing to put money on that one.

Agreed about NorthCali, but we dont have as many nationalities here compared to LA.

I was in Southern California for a summer internship. I went out there expecting to find the Hollywood portrayal (sun, sand, beautiful women), and that was the reality to an extent. But there were a lot of negatives. The traffic was extremely congested, the entire region was swarming with seedy looking illegals, and the cost of living was astronomical. All the locals that I talked to said that the SoCal region had really gone downhill. It's probably still a good place if you are rich though. In my experience the reality was a lot uglier than the popular image.

Not sure where in NorCal you're located, but in the Bay Area we have every race, color and creed. (not sure if that's a correct way of saying it, but it sounds good!).
In SF, you've got all types of Asian heritage, blacks, mexicans, russian, indian (both native and middle eastern)....you name it we have it. And the restaurant section of the phone book is divided by types of food you want (Mediterranean, Chinese, BBQ, Burgers ("americana"), so on and so forth.
When you start getting to the outskirts, the diversity starts to fall but it's still diverse. Marin has plenty of whites, but there is the Canal that is almost 100% Latino. Lots of diversity outside if you look around. And I still stand by that we have more diversity than SoCal.

I do live in the bay area, but everytime I go to LA - i'm amazed - bigger, much more people, more diversity.There re so many nationalities there (more than SF i'd say) and each one of them has their own neighborhood.For example armenians - i haven't seen many in SF, but down in LA there is armenian neighborhood, ..... or .....there is not even a single bulgarian resaturant in the whole bay area - but there are a few of them in LA ....and so on.I'm sure SF has a few of each nationatility, but it's mostly Asians and latinos.

Thank you. Shadow, seriously, people that know you in real life also think the same about you as we do on here. You live, breathe, eat getbig 24/7. You probably don't have a very good education (if so, it shows how easy it is to graduate and not learn a thing) your parents are probably dead (or are making a modest salary that make ends meet month to month) and you have no hope for a future. Don't you realize it's not just one person on here that's pointing this out? Everyone here agrees. As far as your dislike of America goes, if you were born here you would have a completely different outlook on life as most of us here on getbig are in America and we live day to day with absolute freedom. However, if I was born/lived in India and saw the world go by day to day as you do, i'd be more understandable of your position. Thankfully i'm not. Nobody here complains about it, just you.

As is Italy, the best looking men in the world live there but the best looking women live in LA (or Sweden), if you're into blondes.

It's wonderful to (be able to) travel and visit places like Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I loved it, went 3 times and thought I'd love to make a life there. But I got bored, (not with the scenery, but the people) & there's nothing on the news except perhaps a little bit of hockey. The men are lovely, but the women...

Same goes for rural France, it's great, but there's no news and I can't bear looking at the people. I could kinda speak to them (I've been like 5 or 6 times to Brittany) and they attempted to understand me with my high-school French, but !!!

I'm voting for Vancouver Island, for the mountains and the ocean and the islands and the freedom; London England for making money and the west coast of Italy for the best looking men.
