Only on gear and even thats pushing it!
For carbs or protein?  I'll take advice on both.  Is tuna bad bc of the mercury or something else?

You don't like tuna?

When you say as high as they need to be, 2g per lb bodyweight?

That's kinda high. About 1.5 is good.

Yea I never monitored carbs.  I always tried to get 1.5 for protein but I gues doing that for carbs and protein will work.

For protein!
Then what about carbs Joe?

Fact is, I lost ZERO.

Barring disease or medical condition,Muscle is nearly impossible to lose when constantly training and in a static Gravitational enviroment.

Where teh hell do you get those stupid ideas from? Unless you have a proof of what you're saying - you have no credibility whatsoever! I hope that people have enough commom sense not to listen to you crab!

I'm not dieting for a show.  I just want clean bulk while adding lean muscle.  I know it sounds dumb but I think even cutting the bodyfat will make me look more impressive.

Yeah protein
So then what for carbs?

No such thing as bulking. Just added muscle although you can add fat too so be careful. Tuna imo does not rank too high as a quality protein. Carbs can be rice, oats,  potatoes ect.

Yeah, but the body can only use protein to build muscle, not fat or carbs. Carbs are the least important of all macros.

That's kinda high. About 1.5 [grams of protein per lb bodyweight] is good.

TA why are you endorsing this guy?  1.5g is total overkill.  He may be the best of the gurus but this is still total crap.

Keep your protein moderately high, fats will automatically be were they need to be if you are eating quality protein sources. Red meat, eggs (whole) chicken, turkey and tuna to a lesser degree.

Why on earth would you want to be eating saturated animal fat (red meat, whole eggs)?  Maybe strictly from a bodybuilding perspective it won't hurt you if your total calories are right, but for health that stuff is terrible.  My protein sources are chicken breasts, seafood (all kinds, except canned tuna which I hate), egg whites, and whey isolate.

You have zero idea of what you speak about. I could not even begin to tell you why because it would take up a book. There are plenty of real world medical studies that have come out within the last few years that prove your theories to be WRONG!!!! I have done literally hundreds of hours of reading on this subject. Do some research for once.

And I will add this! I would advocate eating like this for longevity FIRST!!!!!! Not just to build muscle. The long term studies that have been done support this type of diet for long term health and longevity.

They're not MY "theories", they're pretty much conventional wisdom in the medical community. Of course, like anything related to nutrition, there are people who feel otherwise, and issues are sometimes hotly debated with studies on all sides of an issue..

Just for shits and giggles, how about posting a few links to info supporting what you say, and I'll be happy to read it.

I think 1.5 is too much for a Natural.
