Jay tore his knee up and had a setback. That being said, he probably uses too much gear. Also, he tries to keep up with Branch, weight wise. What Branch can do for 12-15 reps, Jay can do for 3-4. Jay's ego won't allow him to drop the weight and lift properly. Thus, he isn't getting everything out of his workout, like Branch is. Branch has superior genetics, and is a LOT more focused in the gym, as well.
