he was definitely using straps, he doesn't have enough grip to hold onto 500 pounds for a single, let alone 225 for a marathon. a rep every two seconds is a pretty good pace actually. that's still 4 minutes of nonstop up and down deadlifting.
tell ya what, adam. we'll do my three power lifts, and then the 100 pound DB flys for reps and the 225 deadlift for reps. that should be fair, since from what you've said you're a lot better at both of those than i am, so at least it's a little more in your favor.
