Well at least he doesn't just sit around making excuses for why he is the way he is. He was already a big but very strong guy, then comes a spider bite and his health goes down the tube. But like I said he isn't sitting there like Basile talking about how easy it would be to get back into good shape and not doing it.

Yes, the spider bite was tough.

Vince is still fooling himself that he looks good, like so many fat people do. They lose 5 kilos from 155kg to 150 and brag about it.
At least Keith is trying.

You guys shouldn't really rag on Keith.  I have known Keith for about 20+ years.  Not that we are great friends but we have known each other from the gyms.  I have seen him train and I have trained with him.  I highly doubt many of us can do what he has done.  Didn't he even say the Barbarian Brothers said he is the only one they have trained with that could keep up with them.  Keith was a world class athlete before getting biten by that spider.  And didn't he just spend a couple weeks in the hospital again because of his leg.  I have talked to him maybe 5 times in the past few years on the phone.  I saw him at his show in 2003 and he is big.  He would admit he is fat.  But I really don't think he is lazy or is not trying to lose his weight.  It seems that his leg has given him problems since it happened and it hampers his training.  I'm sure he is still strong as hell too.  I' sure he'll get back into shape.  And has he been on this thread yet.

I get the impression that the weight wasn't put on just out of lazyness and that he is trying to lose it. That clears things up. I just thought he was another Vince.

Vince needs his safety fat to stay warm.

It also serves as shock protection when he is fucking one of them "big mamas". Having a 400 pound "sugah mama" on top of you = not easy unless you are properly loaded up with safety fat shock protection.
