Look, QB, don't bullshit me. If you truly hated fat people why do you continue to talk about them and post comments about some fat women from your gym? You have an obsession with fat women and perhaps underneath all that hatred is an attraction to them that you hate yourself for. Come out of the closet and admit you are interested in fat women. Maybe not all fat women appeal to you but you know you have seen some that you find attractive. If you keep posting in this thread all you do is reveal your innermost thoughts and who would have thought you were doing that on the internet?  Don't be fooled by blokes like Goatboy who is probably stirring you guys just as much as he is me. For guys who try to remain anonymous you are hardly achieving that.

Calling those who don't like fat people bigots is a lot like calling those who don't like criminals bigots. 

"Fat" is not like "Black" or "Jewish", it's more like "criminal" in that it's their own damn fault they got fat, and it's their own damn fault they stay fat.  So Vince may as well drop the "bigot" crap, because that dog ain't gonna hunt.

Your analysis of the obesity phenomenon is lacking and you should acquaint yourself with the relevant research before pontificating here on Getbig. Hey, Goatboy, glad you like the photos from my high school reunion. Look like I have a fan club, afterall!

I can only imagine what anonymous guys like Goatboy have achieved in life. This specimen dares not post a photo so we can conclude he has never put on posing trunks and competed. That is typical of Getbiggers who feed off guys like me who have done just about everything in the sport.

What I can't comprehend is why there is so much resistance to be educated about matters of fact like obesity. Most here hang onto false beliefs as if their lives depended upon them. The superior person would surely abandon false ideas and salute those who helped them see the light.

Vince, you idiot... there are 109 pages of discussion on this topic, dating back at least a year, a lot of it valid, logical, supported argument that you choose to ignore.  How 'bout answering some of the existing arguments on the subject before asking for more?  (Hint... most of them are on the first 50 pages or so, before we gave up and decided it would be more fruitful to make fun of your fat senile ass instead.  ::))

fair enough.  I queried this to you on another thread and would seriously like to get your answer to this

Everything you say here is in fact true. . . but what are you suggesting?  What exactly is your point?  Are you saying that becaues it is more difficult for person B to lose weight compared to person A they should not try?  That in and of itself is pretty unamerican.  Because I grew up poor and am at a disadvantage because my schools werent as good as some people I shouldn't study?  If someone doesn't have good genetics for bodybuilding they shouldn't lift weights?

The simple fact of the matter is that LIFE IS NOT FAIR.  Some people are smarter, taller, funnier, prettier., etc., etc.  No doubt some people will have to work harder to be fit than others, no one is disputing that with you, that does not give them the right to eat everything under the sun and blame it on genetics.

Has anyone on this thread even attended a proper university? I know some have boasted that they are graduates but I wonder in what disciplines. Some of you guys demonstrate that you had trouble completing high school. While that is okay I wonder what makes you confident that you can debate with others who have graduate degrees in subjects relating to exercise physiology and philosophy? Maybe that it the problem on Getbig, because most here have no clue what the difference between physiology and philosophy is!

I am currently in nursing school at the university of kansas, and no I dont  have a degree yet, but have had enough anatomy, phsiology, health development type courses to at least be versed on the subject.  And you would have to agree there are many people out there with "graduate" degree's who are not the brightest cookies in the jar.  Many people with such degrees only take the courses to get the paper and soon as there done forget completely what they have learned.

Goatboy, you really must be copping a hiding. The plain fact, unknown to thickheads, is that it is more difficult to get first class honours in PE than in most other subjects at university? Why is that true? Well, because you have to have academic ability as well as all round sports ability. You have to do gymnastics, swim, throw the discus, dance and do heaps of physical things well.

I doubt Goatboy could master basket-weaving. That doesn't sound like an easy craft. Again, many accept ideas without examining if they are true.

My masters degree was obtained in the philosophy of science which isn't at all about science but how we separate science from pseudoscience and nonsense. Read Popper and others and educate yourself for the better.

I don't consider engineers, accountants and many other professionals as highly educated people. If you have a general arts degree then you might be enlightened about some matters.
