saying a calorie is a calorie is sort of like saying exercise is exercise, so it doesn't matter if you're doing pushups and jumping rope or lifting heavy weights, because either way you'll grow the same way. protein != carbs != fat.

Yea.... you may be malnourished, but you will still lose weight. Thats the point. Eating 1000 units of energy is the same as a 1000 units of energy. Does a gas stove and an electric stove both not heat the same pot?

Cooking on a gas stove is more precise than a electric stove, it is much easier to control the heat :P

the "adonis principles" fall apart for one big reason as well. if a calorie were a calorie, that would mean it's IMPOSSIBLE to lose muscle while dieting. calories are calories and no matter what you lose pure fat. if the "principles" were a regulated diet outline then you could understand how he can claim that his weight loss plan is different.

but according to him, as long as you're below maintenance it doesn't matter, and somehow you only lose fat. so the question becomes, why do people get weaker and lose muscle tissue when they diet? according to the "principles" it physically can't happen.

okay it's becoming painfully obvious you're just a troll. yes, you're right. how could i not realize it. i figured ronnie was big because his training focuses on heavy lifts like bench and squats, because he eats a VERY regulated diet (the chad mentioned in 2003 he managed to stick to "clean foods" roughly 80% of the time), and of course the pharmacological assistance.

i somehow didn't realize that his heavy compound lifting, strict diet, drugs, and genetics were not the reason he grew, but rather just because the human body will grow no matter what you do.

adonis claims glycogen is too minor of a factor to make a difference in anything.

Only 1 PERCENT of muscle is made up of glycogen.

So therefore if your Glycogen levels are Full, around 2000 calories THIS IS NOT ENOUGH TO PRODUCE ANY DIFFERENCE!
