I always wonder how out of shape trainers get clients...
I am in decent enough shape.
There is one trainer I see who looks like he is pregnant. Had a heart attack over a year ago. His clients have the worse form when exercising that I have ever seen.
That being said, when I train people, the first thing they usually say is " I don't want huge muscles".
So, if you don't want huge muscles, you don't train them as a bodybuilder, you train them for health and fitness.
That is where cables, machines, swissballs and light freeweights come in.
As you they get stronger, you can introduce the basic bench press, squats, skullcrushers, etc
