1-Read the question that started this topic.

The Advice of the Pro is to train with proper form in mags and dvd's....yet when you see them train they show u other wise...
Drug is the factor they can quit the drug and train "Smarter" and eat "healthy" yet they will look like shit in a matter of week.

2-If youre a bb on drugs competing for over 5-6 years and don't get your pro card you have crappy genetics.
plain and simple!
look at guys like Gaspari,Flex Wheler,Padilla,Haney,Paris,Robinson,Levrone,Shawn Ray,Oliva,Arnold,Labrada, etc, most of this bbers became pro In a shorter period of 5 years of trying while on the "sauce".

When you see guys competing for over 7,8 or even 10 years and still not getting  Pro status Its clear they are far from "genetic material" so when these  "perseverant folks" keep going after that long period of time i'd say it's a matter of Drug and desire but not genetics...because the potential is just not there.

woshhhhhhhhhhh

Actually the original title was modified. You were late. wooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Whatever form's used doesn't necessarily relate to drug use, you're confusing cause & effect. Wrong correlation. Most of the fundamentals don't change, and i'm sure pros are amused when informed that they do.

Same with longer-term guys who don't get Pro status: there are multiple reasons, not simply the ones you've decided matter.

No offence, but I wouldn't put Gaspari at the top of the bodybuilding gene pool.

Exactly....Toney Freeman, Leo Ingram, myself...there have been many with the genetics, etc. that took longer....it certainly wasn't due to gear.

Agree, but nobody could prevent him from becoming a PRO when he tried at a young age.

what i said in broken english was that a pro potential will already have 17-18 inch arms before he touches the gear,,he will already have sculpted developed delts and thick wide full chest before he touches gear,,and HE WILL NEVER BE ALL ARMS,,he might be "all arms" when you compare him to other pros.. but each and every muscle on the individual's physiqe will be developed,,yes even calves,,you may think they are small but only because you compare them to other pros,,

now you must understand that you dont have to be huge to win a pro card,,you need to have the best combination of lean muscle mass,,,,muscle shape,,cuts/definition and symetry/proportions

when you have all that built in and won your pro card then you can build on it size wize! some build it good like dexter jackson and some build it less good like kamali,,

each and every bodybuilder who won a pro card had his physiqe sliced and judged to the t by numerous assholes,,and bodybuilding judges do not afraid to put you right in your place no matter how hard you worked and how many drugs you took

each and every bodybuilder who won a pro card had something uniqe to his physiqe to begin with BEFORE TOUCHING HORMONES

im hungry bye

The point is that you could try forever to become a pro,  i mean it's major expense to spend $$ and getting nada in return) but somewhere alone the line you will face a competition where you'll find a poor lineup with guys probably 10 or more years trying to b pro...and endup going home with the trophy.

Is not as complicated as many around here wants to see it,  it's easy to spot who has genetics and who doesn't, after all there's not alot of people trying to be a "pro bodybuilder" out there....

Take for example baseball, if you want to make the team for just an amateur level (AAA )not PRO you'll have to face over 600 to 800 players every year! and if youre lucky with extremelly good potential and talented you can play in Japan or latin America league before making it as a pro!

Nobody is "dissing" Canadian BB....but to compare the level to that of the USA's or Nationals is ludicrous. BTW...you mention a few names, but fail to realize we have a lot MORE pro's...there are only so many "best in the world" so numbers wise, of course they'll be more names to NOT make it.

name me the last pro to come out of Canada that has done anything of significance?

Here's a few names for you:

Phil Heath
Toney Freeman
Johnny Jackson
Branch Warren
Mark Dugdale
Desmond Miller
etc
etc

USA is only like 5x the population of canada, if not more, it's only normal you'd have more people coming up through the nationals.

The last Few Mr.Canada's are not crappy by any means:
Simon Voyer
Mike Asiedu
Fouad Abiad
Frank McGrath
it's just not easy to get exposure when you're canadian... :-\
MD and flex cover nationals all the time and hype up the soon-to-be pro's the same doesn't go on in Canada.
what can you do.... :-\

ill say one sentence about the subject

in general,,a guy with  the potentilal to become a pro will look jacked before he gets on hormones,,i noticed in usa that you like to laugh at the ymca,,,but if you notice those christian boys there,, some of them got a natural physiqe that have the potential to go far,,i have been to coulple ymcas in the usa and i always find good % of guys there to have very good natural phsyiqe,,dont know why,,guess the body is their temple :D

wait this is more then one sentence,,but we all know me and english are no friends ;)

Ddi you just say you go to the YMCA to look a little boys in the shower when you "go to USA"?

Mr I you had a very classic look to you when you hit the stage.  Frank Zane like, but today you have to either be 220 and 5 6 with a 27 inch waist or 260-280 and 5 10 waist size what every as long as you suck it in on stage.

Personally I like the look of the 80's better than today but that is the reality of today's pro level.  There is no way in hell Mr I would have the frame to pack on that kind of beef.  Personally I think he is pleased today that he didn't try because it would not be worth the risk. Plus he would look aweful if he packed on 50 more pounds.

I say this next comment with respect....Tom Prince was a swimmer before he began BBing.  Competitive swimmers aren't mass monsters, with their training styles or not.  I'm sure it was easier for him to build but I think the drugs do play a large part, with anyone.  I mean, look at JOJ off cycle.

Back to my original point, I think that the articles presented in FLEX compared to ACTUAL practice is different.  It seems Levrone is the last one who did full reps on upper body and Milos for lower body.

seriously...you had ave. genetics at best...nothing bad, nothing great...to keep insisting you would have been a pro is ridiculous. You wouldn't have. Quit carrying that giant chip on you shoulder and accept the fact that you just didnt have what it takes....

there is no shame that you tried and failed...only in blaming lack of gear for it.

1/2cc Deca per week and 4 maxibolin per day.

For the record, the pics that Joe Valdez took, I was clean!

You had a Great physique. But your assumption that more Gear would make you a PRO is Absurd to say the least. Every body COULD, WOULD, IF.....let's just stop with this DAY DREAMING ....
