go pens today was an aberration E i think the pens youth will hurt them. the majority of their talent is in young players who have no playoff experience. ( crosby,malkin,stall,fleury ) |

im not saying that it applies to ever player their first time in the playoffs, but it is true for most...especially when they are young. and yes its still hockey but its a whole other level. you ask anyone whos ever played in the nhl and they will tell you that playoff hockey is a different breed...faster,harder hitting, more intense. and when youre a young rookie sometimes it can be a bit overwhellming the pens were a good example of that last night. look at crosby,fleury and malkin....you could see they were nervous and were not ready. im sure they will bounce back and play better VERY soon(especially crosby) but they were off last night for sure. anyways................. .... i think buffalo and detroit are gonna kick some ass tonight. i got 4 sabers in my pool so they better  |

wings destroyed calgary yesturday, the 4-1 was not really a reflection of how bad they beat the flames, they just put on a clinic. Wings had a 5 on 3 in the 3rd and just kinda played around with the puck, they could have ran up the score but didn't. wings out shot them, out hit them out everythinged them....it was great.

anybody been watching the ottawa-pittsburgh AND san jose-nashville series. they have been unbelievable. if you like fast, hard checking, high scoring games youll love these series. the first 2 games of each have been incredible. game 3 with ottawa-pitts is on in an hour |

the penguins might win 1 more but this series is basically over. ottawa is just a better team right now and out playing them. vancouver is looking good too...if it wasnt for luongo it would be a different story though anaheim got outplayed big time tonight.....but they will come back and win the next one and end the series. calgary finally showed up and had a good effort. detroit didnt play well. detroit should win this in 5 or 6 and again i could care less about the NYR-ATL series....but someone is getting their ass handed to them |
