But have seen some real pathetic workouts by top guys.Here are the all time most pathetic trainers I witnessed.Paul Dillet,Gary Strydom,Mike Christian,Flex Wheeler,Bob Chicarillo.These are not just one time deals either.They were consistent with pathetic training methods and intensity. I dont care what you have read in magazines or heard.They are all awesome bodybuilders and some of my favorites,but it really told me a lot about genetics and extreme drug use. Dont get me started on what I used to see them eating in the weeks leading up to shows.And not just on cheat days. Any one else out there have these same stories?" - Tom

Well, he was able to pull it together and come in looking pretty good for the masters.

From all accounts, Dillet truly trained like an idiot.

Coupled with his inability to "pose".

I can't help but think, is he slightly mentally retarded? (obviously moreso than the typical juice monkey)

How did you read that into what I wrote? heh, course not -- he's the BEST pro trainer...but even if Bob C. was the WORSE pro trainer, imo, I could still learn a lot from him. (not saying Bob C. is the worse, just giving you a scenario).

I always (inside) laugh at these guys I see in my gym that have a One2One Trainer, somebody they pay for counting the reps pat them on their back, somebody who will tell them that they are doing juuuuuuust fine a person that will take the brutal 22lb of their chest when they have worked to utter exhaustion and total failure.
