eating stuff like plain steak, egg whites, low sodium V8, bleech!
Basically, you need to eat a lot less.

Make sure the food you eat during that period of time is healthy, but eat less. A lot less.

Your daily expandure is probably somewhere around 2000-2500, since you are a little person, but very active.
If you eat 1500 calories per day, you will lose up to 1000 calories every day, and 2 lbs of fat in 8 days.
Make sure those calories you eat are healty, and keeps you full.
And remember, you can eat as much veggies as you want, avoid the calorie dense sauces and such. The veggies will help keep you full.
Don't avoid salt either. As long as you drinks plenty of water: In moderate dosages, salt is your friend.
