I have love for all the guys doing there thing today and the way they do it is simply a reflection of the guys they compete against.
When i was up there, everybody was trying to raise the bar with their presentations, so you had to come correct or get smoked!
Labrada, Paris, Wheeler, Levrone & Taylor all took their Presentations very serious which in turn forced all of us to be on point!
With that said, no one is trying to raise the bar, so as a result you have mediocre routines.
I still watch, painfully at times but I get satisfaction simply from kn owning I was their at a time that wont be duplicated regarding the "DEPTH" of competition on all fronts: Routines, Physique, Genetics, Potential, Popularity, Personalities, Characters, Money, Fan Following and everything else that was good in our sport from the 80's to 2000!
Peace,
S
