Haha comes back for and from what? He's finished! Falcons can now go after him, and get their money back.
Hardly. There is a long history of redemption in pro sports. Anyone who can run, jump, throw, tackle, etc. will always get multiple opportunities. And when you are arguably the best athlete in the game (like Vick) there will always be teams lining up to give you a job.
Ray Lewis is still playing, despite his involvement in a murder case. His case was much worse than Vick's, because someone actually died. Lawrence Phillips was around forever. Because Jeff George has one of the strongest arms in NFL history, he
still gets calls for a job, even though he is a head case. Ryan Leaf.

Granted Goodell is much tougher and has done a spectacular job so far, but I doubt he keeps Vick out longer than a year (after his jail sentence).
Depending on the length of his sentence, I think he'll serve about a year in jail and a one year NFL suspension after that. He'll be back in 2010 or 2011. Tried to bet one of my partners a Happy Meal that Vick will be back on the field, but he was too chicken.
