why do some bodybuilders heads/hands grow?
« on: September 26, 2007, 10:30:46 AM »
I met Gunter 3 years ago.  his hands were like a big bunch of bananas.  Are these guys just huge?  Or does something make their bones grow?  gh?  Is it reversible?  What will they look when theyre back to normal?
Nasser called Palumbo an acromegalion

Why play dumb?  You know HGH is the cause. I have seen this happen many times.

Are you asking why Jay's head is starting to resemble a planet orbiting over his body?

it's the HGH

yeah the questioner isn't exactly a spring chicken.

what causes the bones to start growing again?  don't they fuse by age 20?

A side effect of excess GH in the body (whether foreign or from within the body) agromagly can develop.
Side effects can be widening of the bones which can include a  wider nose, larger hands and feet,  brow ridge, and larger chin and overall thickening of the bones can also occur.

Which is why that wrestler was injecting it into his son, right.  Hoping it would enlarge his bones and make him normal size?

Yes Laura, that's the only reason I can think that he gave his son this.

GH is given to kids who have growth abnormalities to help them grow.  I was watching 20/20 a couple weeks ago and they gave it to some boy at around 13 or 14 yrs old because he was 5'0 they put him on it till he was about 15 or 16 and he ended up topping out at 5'6.  I don't know how much taller he would have been without it vs. with it.  He discontuned the shots by his choice.....he'll probably regret that as a male.
