Uh......no. Hide is far better conditioned. Samir was great is his day, but didn't weigh more than 200lbs. Hide's a bigger guy flat out. Samir had a great back, but someone stole his legs.

Yeah....how many times did he win that title? That's right. It's comparing apples to oranges. Sure Hide is third tier today, but back then, they never saw that type of condtioning. As far as what he could have done....purely speculation.

Very cool, I met him when I was a kid at Golds, it was right before he won the Universe and he was posing, talk about unfreakingbelievable. Too bad the most of the "Gurus" and judges don't pay attention to detail anymore. Hide is a great BBer...by todays standards, but NO ONE can compare to the detail of yesteryear.

The purpose of being on a BBing stage is to present a physique that shows almost every detail, every muscle fiber, every separation with a respectable amout of size with symmetry (or at least thats the way it used to be), todays guys, including Hide don't present that sort of physique, they are block of hard muscle, with no separation, veins and little in the way of cuts let alone being "shredded".

Name one middle who can sport a better physique than Samir, or anyone from that time who was an Olympian. I know Hide is bigger, that's great if the sole intention is to play the size game, but it has to go back to size and quality and thats just not happening and I seriously want to know why. Judges?

So are you saying Hides' back is not shredded. Hide is far better conditioned in the back than Samir. His back is sliced, not just separated. I'll give the edge in taper to Samir, but Hide dominates him in conditoning. Both have their strong points but it's like comparing wheeler to munzer. Wheeler is more pleasing to look at, but even in 93, you could still tell that he was holding a bit of water....where as munzer was dry as death.

On stage, Hide completely surpasses Samir. The 80's are over.

As far as middleweights....go to the Nationals. Take your pic of the top 5.

Clearly, you are retarded. Leverone was like 245 onstage, Samir was about 195lbs. No way he's coming close to Leverone. Had you said Ray.....maybe.

And I said Hides back was better conditioned, not better shaped. Far more conditioned and bigger legs to boot.
