Chris Faildo trains on egg whites, not drugs for 2007 World Men's Championships

Look, Van B, if we want to split hairs and get technical , some of the gray area suppplements do merge into "drugs".

No, there have been a few OTC designer steroids every bit as effective as an illegal steroid. Like I said, ask Disgusted about M1T. He has said that "it's just too strong". Some of the steroids sold OTC have been used by Olympic athletes, like the DMT, which was sold as "Phera-Plex" and is still available to my knowledge. THG which was the steroid in the Balco scandal could have been sold OTC through the same loophole as these other ones. In fact, the Gaspari Halodrol was analyzed by someone in WADA and was found to contain 3 different steroids including THG. Patrick Arnold has said that this steroid is one of the strongest steroids ever developed.

Besides, like slaveboy says, it doesn't matter if they were weaker. Faildo is promoting chemical free bodybuilding - legality should have nothing to do with it. If he needs thyroid drugs to get that ripped then how can he say it has all to do with discipline and strict diet year round?

Plus, Chris Faildo is not massive and his appeal comes from his shape, symmetry and ripped ascpets of his physique.
The typical hardcore guy worships size above all else. To make a guy like Faildo as the ideal at a ripped 165lbs is NOT what the hardcore bunch advocates.

Some of the biggest juicers I have known have been little 150-160 pounders, very good bodybuilders but not mass monsters, shooting 4+ grams of gear a week.

I just remembered that onlyme has said Faildo was a juicer. Both live in Hawai so maybe he does know for sure.

I don't want to get into this again.  Just to say I never have seen him take steroids................ .........BUT, he did live with the one of the biggest users and dealers in Hawaii who got busted and someone very very very close has told me they personally injected him on several several several occassions.  So take that however you want.  He might not do them anymore or whatever.  He looks great and he has won some good titles.  He isn't really any different than any other BB who has won shows.  Another thing is he cahrges over $100 per hour to train people and had them take his nutrition products he sells.  He would go to my friends supplement store next to Gold's and asked him many questions on nutrition and write down the answers.  My friend is super knowledgeable in nutrition and especially protein.  And then Chris would go over and tell his client and make it look like he had the answers and then sell them on his products.

You're wrong, Keith.  I don't think Chris as charged 100 an hour in five years.  Maybe you can get one of his trainers to train you for that amount, but not him.  And Chris would never sell anything that Rich had anyway.

Read the newspaper article - where does he say he doesn't use steroids because they're illegal?

Thyroid hormones are a hell of a lot more dangerous than any steroid.

Hey Onlyme...when I was in Hawaii, Faildo was pushing Met-rx.....he was saying that Met-rx had a lot to do with his conditioning and physique. Wasnt he one of the distributors of met-rx in Hawaii during the early years with this guy named Jeff (dont know his last name)? But yeah, I heard he charged that much ($100 an hour) same with Eugene and some other personal trainers in Hawaii.

But one thing about Faildo is he isnt tall at all. I saw him many times especially when he wore a suit at a Dr Scott Connelly's (creator of Met-rx) seminar at Kapiolani Gold's gym/24 Hr Fitness...Faildo isnt a big dude at all and you couldnt even tell he had that kind of musculature until you saw him in a tank top....

Chris got along with Rich as well as you did.  Wayne is pretty knowledgable, and I can see him gleeing information from him.  Chris was a Met RX distributor and a sponsored athlete before Met RX was sold to Rexall.  Alan was the original Hawaii Met RX distributor.

Actually I think Lynn Seilbert was the first.  But the most successful was Jeff Watkins.  I have no idea how Rich stays in business.

He is uber successful at buying and selling used cars.  Really, no bs.  He makes bank doing so, and was able to parlay this into multiple properties.

Yes that is right he sells cars.  Its how he funds everything else.  I think he tried real estate to.  He is your typical used car salesman.  He had that little gym setup behind his store in Aiea.  I can't remember the exact circumstances but I know he got that equipment without paying for it or something like that.

Actually, he got most of it from a non succesful gym opening at Queen Emma.  He literally stole that stuff for .25 on the dollar.  Flex, hammer where willing to let it go to a cash buyer because the previous owner was behind six lease payments.  People can say what they want about Rich, but he rarely loses money.
