Negative Remarks ( Read before posting on this board )

If I, or any of the other Mods, see a Post that doesn't abide by the Rules, it WILL get Deleted. Let's make this a fun, enjoyable Board, fellas. You want to insult someone ... belittle them ... post somewhere else. Thank you.

On another note, if ANY of you have any Ideas or thoughts as to how WE can make this a better Board ... perhaps, a more Popular one, then PLEASE don't hesitate to Post your thoughts and Ideas in this Thread. Once again, thank you for your time.

Ditto,  The race thing has gotten waaay out hand.  About a year ago Ron said he'd take care of it but it's worse then ever now.  It shouldn't matter who it is or how many posts they have.  At this point I've even found myself defending myself using their tactics and that's not what I'm here for.

Yeah, I feel ya..... Some of its pretty offensive...
But I hate a world so sterile that friends cant joke around..

My faimly is mixed but not black, and we've lots of friends of many races, and we all joke about race. Including some who my Govt bombed their home when they were kids.....

The stuff that's clearly meant to hurt and degrade should just get deleted, some gets pretty grey though.

Absolutely agreed, fellas ! Being of Mixed Race myself ( Half-Black, Half-White ) I sometimes cringe going into the Gossip and Opinions Board. Trust me when I say this ... as long as I'm Mod of THIS Board there will be NO Racist Comments allowed here ! NONE ! Regarding your first Post, Trab ... I've already got it under control.  By the way, thanks for the Comments, guys ! Much like Ron ( as I've spoken with him many times ), I want to make this a popular Board just like the G & O Board ... just without the negativity of course.

A lot of people like that, but a number of people want a board where they can come, have a good time, and dont get attacked, if that makes sense.

No, Chaos. Like Ron, I believe in Freedom Of Speech ... I am not here to make enemies ... I don't want to be viewed as some Psychotic, controlling, Fuhrer Mod ... if that makes sense. I just want this to be a Positive Board where Members here at GetBig can get along constructively without bashing each other ... that's it. But, yes, Chaos, you are right about the " negative remarks about one thing or another ... " ... I think they're called " Opinions " though ... 

At any rate, keep Posting guys ! I like the feedback we're getting in this Thread ... it's not a lot of Replies ... but it's something ... and something's better than nothing !

Maybe you should set up some sort of three strikes your out deal, I think cap86 just shitcanned "sevastase" for a month from the training board for "trolling".

Good question. Since I've been Mod here ( a little over a Month and a Half ) I haven't seen either one of them.

Way beyond "slur". Outright attacks and they mean to hurt & degrade.
People can make fun of sum of their own racial stereotypes and others and have a little fun, but there's a clear point when
its meant to make them less human than the attacker.

Pointing out bullshit/news that is wrong/ Over The Top, with White or black or whatever ethnic group
shouldn't be stopped IMO. THAT is freedom of speech. but lumping all people in a class is wrong.
We are all individuals with some traits (good & bad) from our various cultural experiences.

But Illegal aliens deserve NO PROTECTED SPECIES STATUS. They should all be deported, and any talk regarding them that is
the truth should not be censored or altered to make them seem acceptable. They are law breakers and deserve
nothing but a cheap trip home, where ever that may be.
They should be refered to as Illegal Aliens not "Undocumented workers" etc

Pointing out the truth about sum things (Islam for eg) is also not wrong. Its speaking the truth.

I think this Thread is getting a little out of hand ... I, originally, set up this Thread in order to let those know that the negative comments ( namely, bashing eachother ) that are usually permitted in the G & O Board will NOT be permitted here. This is BOTH what I and Ron wanted. It's as simple as that, fellas. I was also looking for suggestions, comments, ways, etc. that I could make this a more fun, popular, and enjoyable Board for you all. Again, that's it. Let's not let this Thread ( as I won't ) turn into " Who's better " and/or " Reasons why I don't like the G & O Board ".

First off, I was not implying ( as it seems that a couple of you have misunderstood me ) that I DIDN'T like the G & O Board ... as a matter of fact, NOTHING could be further from the Truth. I have been a Member of GetBig for quite some time now and the G & O Board has ALWAYS been my favorite. Now Goatboy, you are certainly allowed to Post your feelings on the issue ( as you have already ), however, comparing this Board to the " nerd table in a high school cafeteria " is a bit extreme, to say the least. It's almost like a sucker punch, really.  You, obviously, are one of the people that has misunderstood me and my Thread's intent. Is it so hard for you to see that I am trying to make this Board a more popular one ? Would you like to try ? I figured I'd " ask the people " and try to incite some type of response from them as to how I could do so ... how many Mods do YOU KNOW that do this ? I don't know of any, offhand. I guess it would just be easy for me to walk around with " Mod status " and not ACTUALLY do anything with it other than Delete/ Modify people's Posts ... sorry, but that's not me. Not to take anything away from the other Mods, but I'm very active here on this Board and I'm VERY motivated in trying to make this a better place. Please give me some credit ... I've only been Mod here a short, short while. And yes, you are correct ... the G & O Board does have more traffic than this one ... WAYYY more traffic, to be exact. However, when your on a Board that gives you, for the most part, TOTAL Freedom of Speech than your going to have more traffic ... it's only logical. 

Now, please gentlemen, if you have any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc. on how to make this a more popular Board WITHOUT comparing us to the others, then please feel free to Post ... even you, Goatboy. Unless you think your too good for us " nerds " ?
