Also, Germany has been the largest exporter of goods in the world in recent years and is the most translated language. In business, German, Japanese, and Spanish(due to quickly emerging markets in South and Central America) are the most important languages behind English. French not only comes from Latin, but also German; it was created by mixing the two, although I will give you that it may be more weighted toward Latin...the Franks, after all, were a Germanic group. English is also a Germanic language and the Anglo-Saxons were also a Germanic group. Germans(and very Germanic peoples like Austrians and German Swiss) are also responsible for a huge proportion of modern scientific discoveries(For example, in the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, if you wanted the best education in physics, you went to Germany.) and great scientists(Einstein, Heisenberg, Schroedinger, Pauli, Planck, Euler, etc). They have contributed greatly to western philosophy and literature(Goethe, for example) and many of the great classical composers are German(or very Germanic) such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach. Germany has also had a large part in shaping the history of Europe and the world, both good and bad aspects.

Although write capacity and expression capacity doesn't have to do something at itself unconditionally with intelligence, one can recognize often by the letter style as well as word treasure, who controls efficient intellectual capacities.  This would speak theoretically alone for the academic type about intelligence, however I find that many a that plague the local fora are, such a thing of ape custody and farmer custody in things communication and behavior, that I underestimate its intelligence rather than reversed.

The way I read his post, I think he's talking about Germanic peoples in general (as opposed to the Latin people of the Roman Empire or the Slavic people to the east), not just citizens of modern Germany.  You're correct about the Huns, though.

Up until probably at least the mid-1990's just Germans, not even including English or other Northern Europeans, were the single largest group in the US all alone and when you include the English and Northern Europeans, even if Germans aren't the largest group today, Germanic peoples are by far.

  The Visigoths and Vandals were two Germanic tribes that came into the composition of modern Germans, so I have no idea what you're bitching about. As for the Huns, I know that they're Asiatic.   Irrelevant, because the Angles and Saxons settled in Denmark before crossing to England hired by the native Britons to fight the Normand invasion. They were not involved in the fall of Rome and their descendents were not resposible for the two most horrific wars of the 20th Century and for the greatest genocide in history.

The tests available on the internet are not real IQ test.  They generally allow people to score about 30 points higher than their true IQ in order to coax people into buying a product, or buying the print out of their score. 
For the average person with an IQ of 100, this will put them in the lower end of genius....which is quite appealing to the people taking the test.

Thye are not normed againt legitimate tests like the Stanford-Binet, Wechesler and Cattel and they give no standard deviation or percentile score for you to know how you fared compared to others. Lots of people get I.Q scores as high as 165 on these online tests. Yeah, like the average person has an I.Q on the level of Charles Darwin and Stephen Hawkins.

I get 116-120 on most of the online tests I take..

I took one that was supposed to be like the mensa one, and it was far by the most difficult, as there were like 8 choices and everything was symbols and shape. Wound up with like 108 on that one.

See, it wasn't an easy test. You do not qualify for "high iq society membership". 

IIRC, I had about the same score as you. Took it a few times and got pretty much the same score each time (the test is different each time so you can't practice on the questions).

But don't take these tests seriously. First of all, they have no time limit, so the test doesen't take into consideration invoked potential, the single most important factor of "G", or general intelligence. Also, the test is not properly G loaded in the sense that the items do not have increased complexity, meaning that the test's true ceilling is probably around 140 to 145 and not 167 like the test designer intended to.
