How can you say unfair judging, there has been a "middle eastern" Mr. Olympia.

Exactly. They throw around the race card yet seem to forget that the Mr Olympia contest has always been very multi cultural and there have been winners of different races and backgrounds.

Just look at bodybuilding, there is no way one can be serious when accusing the judging of being racist.

Not so much a race card, but general politics card, which partly includes race.  yes, there was an Arab Mr. Olympia but that was in 1983--times do change!

Just like Jay Cutler was not supposed to win the 2007 Mr. O and countless other pro shows have quesotionable judging results due to politics.  Nasser usually got the short end of the political stick.

Boo hoo.

You know what Dorian said back in the 80s? "I'm gonna come in so damn good they won't be able to deny me"

Remember, way back then, Yates was a nobody from England with no support. Everyone told him only Americans could win.

Instead of making excuses for Nasser, why don't you ask him why his glutes were never ripped or why his back was soft and lacked detail, or why he eventually turned to synthol? Remember, Nasser even lost to a 215lb Flex at the 97AC. Instead of going for bigger, bigger, bigger, Nasser should have refined his physique to about 255lbs and focus on his condition. Instead he went for mass at the exclusion of supreme conditioning.

Nobody is denying Nasser was a great BB. However, crying "politics" because Nasser was Arab is garbage. Last time I checked with you, Nasser couldn't win because he wasn't America. Mohammed Benaziza beat Yates. Many races and ethnicities of BB have won in the IFBB. Last time I checked, Nasser did win the Arnold Classic. If there were "politics" against him, this wouldn't have happened based on your logic.

Lol, as though glutes are a primary bodypart that's involved in judging physiques.  Nasser's abs, among other bodyparts, were the most ripped onstage.  That is much more important than whether or not his *glutes* were most ripped or not.  And why don't you ask why Dorian did not have any arms and the second widest waist onstage only to JP Fux?

I did not say that Nasser was judged unfairly only due to or even primarily due to race.  I dont know exactly how the politics of the IFBB work, but when you see Nasser from 95 to 97 being undoubtedly the best from the front, and not too far from the best from the rear poses, yet placing 2nd to 3rd, it becomes convincing that something unfair was happening.  Why did Jay Cutler win the 2007 Mr. Olympia if there are no politics or biases involved?

As for the issue of "Nasser's back", it had less detail than Yates, Wheeler, Ray, and Levrone, however it was at least as detailed as most other competitors, just not as detailed as the top 6.  And in size his rear lat spread was wider than all except Dorian's by a nominal amount.  The rear poses are not only a matter of back or back detail, they include your delts, arms, hamstrings, calves, V-taper, etc.  In all those categories Nasser excelled, and as a result his rear poses were still among the best onstage, and coupled with his front poses which were the best ontage, you get the overall best physique onstage.

Actually, no you're wrong, I had a lot to say about that:

if he was really good enough to win an O title then he would have, i believe flex should have won a MR O title, but i dont spend all my day trying to convince other people that, Flex didn't win 1 and neither did nasser ( but in that comparison flex shits on nasser)

you could not be more right, and there are people on here saying that he deserved to win, he had no detail in his back what so ever, even though flex is 50 pounds less than nasser he looks better from any angle

And why was Flex never Mr O then?

As for your second paragraph, everyone knows Nasser beat every Mr O when they turned to the front, he was further ahead from the front than anyone was ahead of him from the back.

i dont know why flex didn't win a mr o title, i believe he should have on a number of occasions, he deserves 1 much more than nasser...
And nasser was never in front from any angle end of story, never good enough to win an O
