i dont know why flex didn't win a mr o title, i believe he should have on a number of occasions, he deserves 1 much more than nasser...
And nasser was never in front from any angle end of story, never good enough to win an O

I agree, but they were two totally different styles of bodybuilders. At that time you either went for straight out mass to compete with Dorian, or you had guys like Flex and Shawn, not the biggest but very aesthetic physiques with no real flaws. Should Nasser have won an Olympia, probably. Should Flex have won an Olympia, definietly.
It would be interesting if Flex did win an O. Would Ronnie still have beaten him in 98? or would Flex go on to win more titles. If it was the latter, bodybuilding would probably be very different now.
No doubt about it...

i persoanlly believe that flex should have won up until 2000, when he got that kidney thing, then jay should have won in 2001 and 2002, then ronnie should have won in 2003 and 2004 then jay should have won it back in 05 and kept it, and if that happened ronnie would have only won twice

Once again TEAM NASSER kicked alot of ass and rained alot of hell on all the pumpkinheads this glorious Thursday before Christmas 2007!

PIP Tom Tognetti, he won't recover.   :'(

Everyone be getting ready for Nasser Night tomorrow night, it should be a real barn-burner being as how most people won't have to go to work again for at least another 4 days it being the weekend before Christmas.

I picked this CD up while Christmas shopping in Beverly Hills tonight; I highly recommend it.  A must for any TEAM NASSER workout playlist.

Well all i know is that Wolf will be the next Mr Olympia. Jay will get it in 08, regardless of how he looks, then its Wolfs time. Honestly, and i've thought this for a while now, but for some reason i just don't see Victor ever winning an Olympia. Plus i guess the whole getting busted for dealing shit won't help him. Wolf has the type of physique bodybuilding needs. Jay will be the last blocky waisted Mr O winner for a long time.
No doubt about it...

All you have to do is look at pics of Wolf and Jay. Jay outweighs Dennis by about 30lbs in competition, yet Dennis easily holds his own against Jay. 30lbs is a lot, yet Dennis doesn't look that much smaller than Jay on stage.
No doubt about it...

I truly think this was the shot that ruined it for Nasser. His back double biceps was pretty good, but the lat spread was really off. Not only was it lacking width and hardness, but he also appears to lose a lot of his visual size in this shot. Yates looks almost perfect in this comparison.

Thats probably one of the better shots of Nasser's rear lat spread. Good by all means, but when standing next to Dorian Yates, you have to be better than good.
No doubt about it...

And nasser was never in front from any angle end of story, never good enough to win an O

So you use the fact that Nasser never won a Mr. O title to discredit Nasser's accomplishments, yet even though Flex Wheeler never won he still very imrpessive in your eyes.  Can you say "lack of logic"  ???

i persoanlly believe that flex should have won up until 2000, when he got that kidney thing, then jay should have won in 2001 and 2002, then ronnie should have won in 2003 and 2004 then jay should have won it back in 05 and kept it, and if that happened ronnie would have only won twice

Flex deserved to win if it were a Men's "figure" show, however this is bodybuilding, and when standing next to other symmetrical physiques with a ton of more mas than you, you no longer look like a bodybuilder.  Flex had tiny/no lats in all the front poses, especially in the ab and thigh where he looked narrow as a pole next to the bigger guys (not only narrow waist but but narrow shoulders).  Flex's only bodyparts which were big were his delts and arms, which I'm surprised you do not cry "synthol" towards as you do with Nasser.

In other words you are admitting that there are lots of political factors in awarding the Mr. Olympia title.  Exactly my point.  Thank you.

I truly think this was the shot that ruined it for Nasser. His back double biceps was pretty good, but the lat spread was really off.

His rear lat spread was second widest onstage only to Dorian.  Hardly what one would consider "ruining" a physique.  ::)

Some new thoughts on the "Samiir Bannout" example.  Yes, Samir Bannout was Mr. O but he is a Maronite Christian (who do hate Muslims, whereas Nasser is Muslim).  They did not want to have a Muslim being Mr Olympia especially with people like IFBB pro judges like Weinberger, Asher Frigg from Israel, Feinstein from the United K, etc.  Maronite Christians battled Muslims for 15 years in Lebanon (also IFBB Pro George Farrah was bragging that he had killed Muslims in the Lebanese civil war).  The main supporter of these Christian militias have been the USA, Israel, Greece, etc.  Jim Manions wife is also Lebanese Christian - judging Nasser @ the Olympia  ::)  Art Bedway, also Lebanese Maronite was judging the O in 2001 and he was the first IFBB judge and official who started talking about Nasser's alledged synthol use.

LOL most Muslims don't practice Islam much, myself included.  That doesn't change the fact that we are and are viewed as Muslims, by bodybuilding judges or common people.

No idea what point you're trying to make with this link?  I didn't read it all, but it looks like a general brief intro to Islam?

So in a pretty isolated incident an old Muslim man married a Muslim child/early teen....as though incest, child molestation, and other similar matters don't happen in redneck-dense areas of America?  ::)

And why was Flex never Mr O then?

As for your second paragraph, everyone knows Nasser beat every Mr O when they turned to the front, he was further ahead from the front than anyone was ahead of him from the back.

Flex never won because after his accident he was never the same , his conditioning always left a lot to be desired , Flex was the ONLY legitimate threat for Dorian , and in 1993 he was the victim of to many spring shows hence why his condition at the 1993 Mr Olympia was off not but much though , a 1993 Arnold Classic Flex or Ironman could beat Dorian in my opinion , but Flex never got his act together .

I'm comparing Muslims to Americans, and among Muslims there are some isolated ones who marry very young girls, and among American ones there are some isolated incidents of molestation, incest, etc.

Honest question - what grade of junior high or high school did you drop out in?

And muslims have it legal. I'm sure you're very proud of such policy.

Pretty much the same policy we have here in Canada - 14 is the minimum age of marriage with parental consent, 16 without.  And there is no max age of the husband in the event that the 14 year old marries with parental consent.

He could beat Dorian, but it would be apples and oranges. Both at their bests were superb bodybuilders, but for radically different reasons: Dorian carried a unique package of mass&hardness, while Flex had ridiculously round muscle bellies tapering into ridiculously small joints. My point is that Dorian could be defeated by Flex at his best, but not by an objective criteria; only by pure taste. Flex wouldn'd defeat Dorian atg none of the "big threes" that are evaluated at a bodybuilding contest: muscularity, symmetry and conditioning.

So basically what you're saying is, you find marrying an 11 year old girl acceptable? Gotcha.
