The thing is just that, christians are to a certain degree able to debate over problems, where as you say, most of the islamic world seems to be stuck in the middle ages, i.e. wanting to kill a female teacher for calling a teddy bear mohammed (analogy: witch trials), bombing non-believers in London, Paris, Madrid (analogy: Crusades), putting up states with clerics as the most powerful leaders (analogy: all of europe in the middle ages).

The thing is just that i don't need that shit in europe or the US, if they want to live this way, they should stick to themselves, just like the US and europe. It's separation in a way, but so what?
If they want to live european, they are welcome. If a woman from NY decides to live in Iraq, she's free to go.

I know a lot of muslims in europe that live european, but i've never seen one protest against jihad. They seem to silently agree or at least don't give a fuck. You should think that when these peaceful muslim countries were against terrorism, they'd do something against it.
You'd think that those peaceful british muslims would fight against the terrorosts among them, try to open up their mosques, engage in discussions. But? No.
On the other hand, when i walk around certain areas of my town, i see kaftans, burkas, women walking 10 meters behind their husbands who seem disgusted by the life in germany. What the hell do they want here?

There are Muslims who speak out against terrorism, just as there are Americans who speak out against US war crimes.  Similarly, there are some Muslims filled with hate that wish death upon "Western" civlians, as there are "Western" civilians who hate and wish death upon Muslim civilians.
