If he doesn't win the nomination, it's going to be the fault of douches like you.  >:(

Do you actually think someone on here is going to be all "Hey MattT likes obama, maybe I should consider him."?

Shut your trap, douchebag, and do us a favor.

I don't follow politics that much but it's been suggested to me that Hillary and Obama could actually run together as president/vice president...if that were to happen, who do you think they'd agree should be president, and which would be vice?  I think it's a pretty interesting question but like I said, I'm not even sure it would be a possibility but if it is what do you guys think?  Their winning would make their White House occupancy hugely historically-significant, having both the first black and woman in those positions, but which do you think would be viewed more appropriate?  Obama being Hillary's bitch or vice-versa?   ;D

It won't happen, because neither wants to play second fiddle. Hillary did it for Bill, the other "natural."  And Obama knows that Bill will be vice, no matter what.  This will be a struggle to the end, and there will be too much bad blood for them to be on the same ticket. Also, the power-brokers know that it would be a sure way to lose the election.

So, you're not a voting man, McFarland?

I'm not, actually.  Do you think that a bad thing?  Serious question; I don't have a strong opinion either way really.

If you don't have a strong opinion after having done some research, that's not a bad thing.  But being apathetic towards the process is, especially if its for reasons like "I have just one vote, why does it matter?" if you have any conviction, you can have quite an impact on people you encounter.   Help a movement reach its "tipping point"

Obama is still young.  If Hilary wins the nomination, Obama would accept the VP.  But Hilary wouldn't accept the position as she has a lot of seniority in the senate.  Edwards would be a logical choice for Obama.

No.
Obama doesn't want to play second fiddle to Bill Clinton as VP, and Hillary would not want her running mate to outshine her in the general election campaign.

I do think Obama's gonna end up winning but that has nothing to do with my personal opinions; although at this point I don't think I'd mind if he won.  I think Hillary's winning might be the death of her...she looks so tired and I don't wanna see a woman in a position to be everyone's scapegoat on everything that happens with the country.

there will be more bad blood before it's all said and done, so she might not offer. Also, her advisors know that she is already a polarizing figure, and to put a woman/black ticket out there is going to aggravate that problem. So, Edwards is actually the one who is sitting pretty....got some candidates to give, got out of a somewhat acrimonious campaign early...

didn't you see the Hollywood debate last week?  It was a love fest.  that was not an accident

I think just the opposite.   Obama on the ticket would give minorities a reason not to stay home.  On the Republican side, though, one or two of the factions (theocons, neocons, paleocons) will not support who ever wins the nomination.
