I think most people with half a brain would just move the trucks instead of continuing to get tickets over them. The guy had 114 misdemeanor violations. He's obviously fucked in the head. Was that really justification for killing five people who didn't even issue him the 7 tickets?

What I'm saying is that those on city council and in the media will attempt to downplay his motive and especially the behavior of the city council, in order to preserve face, prevent copycat incidents, and to defame Lee haney.

I don't know the full circumstances of the St Louis thing, but even without them, there's a lesson here: you can push people too far. The Rambo tagline "when you're pushed, killing's as easy as breathing" isn't just a cute movie quote... there's a deeper truth there.

It sounds like it wasn't over those parking tickets, there was an ongoing fued betwen this guy and the mayor, and getting the tickets right after losing the court case were the straw that broke the camel's back.

this guy was a sack...confirmed.

nothing I like more than seeeing people take their power back from government and corporations.

But, I have to agree with natural al here about the guy selfishly parking his commercial vehicles all over the neighborhood. If I lived in that neighborhood, I would be pissed seeing him hog all the parking spaces, not to mention all the air and noise polution 7 extra vehicles is bringing into the area.

If they are commercial vehicles then he should have a commercial lot that he parks them in, not the public street.

I bet all the neighbors were pressuring the police to ticket him everyday.

a normal person would have caught on that it wasnt a good spot to park the trucks after the second set of tickets. this guy seemed to think he was better than that.

The whole point of the thread is not the murders themselves. Its the fact that if you fuck with someone the wrong way and they have nothing to lose, they WILL clean your clock. These losers thought they were large and in charge....untill they fucked with the wrong citizen. he may be in jail, but some people don't care about jail. Somepeople are fed up with life and have nothing to lose and they will kill your sorry ass if you screw with them.
