One more.
When I first started training, I was at a little aquatic & fitness center that had the OLD benches. You knw, the ones that you had to lower the weight directly onto the rack, becuse there was no guard behind it.
Anyway, dud is doing bench w 225. No problem for him, he usually repped with 365. As he was going to rack the weight, he sneezed and missed the rack, didn't let go of the bar and when the weight crashed to the ground behind him, just before the crash, there was a audible...POP!
He dislocated his freakin' shoulder!
He stood up screaming with one shouldr about 4 inches lower than the other. Nasty!
Fortunately, there was an orthodontist (yes, teeth!) in there that put it back in for him and drove him to the ER. Now, I don't know what kind of orhodontist he was (well, that's a lie, he did my braces!) but he was damn good at re-inserting shoulders!
