of course Dorian, his mentality and focus toward training was like 100%,
while Ronnie trained hard but he was still having a bit of fun in between sets
Ronnie was better on the more basic lifts . Dorian was more mahcine like overall.
Hard to say who really did train "harder", both were classic hardcore , no frills style of trainers.
I have both the Coleman "That's Incredible " and Yates " Blood and Guts training videos.
Ronnies 2 resp with 800 along with all the incredible barbell lifting is incredible.
But for pure training value I would say Yates was more effective.
Most normal guys would get injured or NOT grow as much traing like Ronnie did with the loose form and heavy basic moves. Yates style is something ANYONE could use and make gains.
Arnold had the best overall form however , as seen in Pumping Iron.
