Like I say I respect all your opinion and if you truly believe that Dorian beats Nasser in 97 I have to accept that and just disagree as strongly as possible.

I would have to say though that I cannot accept that Dorian beats Nasser in Abs and thighs. From the front Dorian has the pitiful, atrophied legs of an AIDS man. his stomach is disgusting and full of kittens.

I believe that Nasser owned the tattooed reformed racist in 96 and 97. I don't beleive that Nasser was given a fair deal in both those years.

No, we cannot change history but it is right and correct that most fans who maybe did not know of just how bad the decision to give Yates a Sandow in 97 was, are fully aware.

Ultimately it is their sport, they fuel it and fund it and it was a deeply intelligent and dedicated man's career that was harmed by him not winning the Mr Olympia his body totally deserved.

No, Nasser was in no way 'ruined'. He is a very rich man with much cars and real estate. However, he would have had an even more amazing career and earning potential if he was a former Mr Olympia. His body won the competition but the judges like cowardly roaches hand the title to a man who was broken, his body had defeated him - pregnant with kittens, no arms, bird legs etc.

Finally, where else discuss bodybuilding and Mr Olympia if not on a bodybuilding forum?

Well, if Nasser is as wealthy as you say, I think you are overselling the value of a Mr. O win in his case.

I don't think it'd make much of a difference in his portfolio.

a Mr. Olympia crown is worth more than money, you can legitimitley call yourself the best in the world for a year and Nasser was robbed of it twice.

Perhaps, but in marketing, which is what the smart competitors do with themselves...it is more perception than reality.

Labrada never won the O, but obviously has become wildly successful with his company, as has Gaspari.

I can't belive that someone is even questioning why a professional bodybuilder wouldn't care about being cheated out of the title that represents the pinnacle of achievement and success within that industry.

Why even bother training, dieting, taking 'supplements' that many treat as a necessary evil. Why bother if it means so little mossejay.

this is probably the clearest picture of Nasser's total domination of Yates that you'll see, it literally looks like Mr. Olympia standing next to the NPC jr. Nationals heavyweight winner, look at the difference in arm and leg mass, ridiculous.

However....

I personally heard Flex Wheeler answer a group of young bodybuilders who asked him what he would be doing after his competitive career was over.

His reply was something like:

"Hell...you will never see me in the gym again. I hate lifting weights..."

Now, there is an 'IFBB Pro' who could give a F--- about winning the big one.

Although I never said this would translate to the feelings of all pros, it may be emblematic of some.

I know exactly what are the (supposed )judging criteria for bodybuilding shows. I have posted that pic and many others. In all of them Nasser dominates Yates.
