2) Me at 16..(HERE I was 155 pounds...)-Jeff King won the teen and open overall that day destroyed everyone
3) Yeager's Gym...long defunct...Lombard, Illinois...one of the best gyms I ever trained in

Moosejay, I saw you say you were suffering from cancer on a thread a few weeks ago. I've been meaning to ask, how are you coping and what is the prognosis?

Well, amazingly, I have had a very blad slew of various health problems...all hit me at once, including heart and ortho, but I am happy to dsay I am making forward progress.

Is that Mike Katz, god he looks like shit. To think him and Arnold were a similar age, Arnold looks about 20 years younger albeit the plastic surgery and hair plugs...lol

Mike's kindness and the fact that he has accomplished more for himself and on behalf of others than anyone I know transcends the supposition that he may not look like he was when he was a world class bb.

Fair call, but that is a big statement! It is not as though Katz is out there trying to find a cure for cancer or something.

He was a Pro who used steroids and then went on to judge....can't say 'it' is that amazing!

Well, Hank, I am simply juxtaposing the fact that there is usually a certain decorum to saying something nice about someone.

Remember, when you say something not nice, would it not figure that there should also be something good to say, too?

I agree, but unfortunately the world we live in isn't sugar coated. Opinions, thoughts and ideas can be both negative and positive.

In my opinion Katz was a pretty ordinary human being who hasn't really made a great impact on the sport.
