Let's say you're titus. For the sake or argument, we'll pretend he and Kelly committed the crime together.

With such overwhelming evidence, you know you're looking at a life sentence with no chance of parole. Let's pretend your wife was involved, and it's likely she'll do a lifetime bid as well.

Would you take full credit for the crime if it meant the woman you love was able to be free and enjoy the rest of her life on the outside. You're already a condemned man, and you're built for prison. She can either spend her life in prison too, or she can go free and find a happy life.

If you were both guilty, would you confess to doing it alone (and maybe saying you forced her to buy the walmart kerosene...) so that she could go free? it would mean you have no appeals - you confess.

There will be no confessions and the time already served will suffice for their crime of concealing the accidental death. That's clearly what they're all working towards.

Craig is not capable of that kind of selflessness. All he is focusing on is "beating the rap" for himself, even though there's a 99.999999% chance he won't succeed. Since taking the rap for Kelly would increase his chances of being convicted from 99.999999% to 100%, he won't do it.

No, they'll admit they did it out of blind panic and , perhaps, drug use. The time they've already served would cover this less serious crime.

That won't fly because of the tazer evidence and their statements after the fact. Their best bet at this point would be to get separate trials and blame each other. If the first one is lucky enough to get acquitted, they could change their testimony in the trial of the other and take the blame. Sure it would result in a perjury charge, but the time they've already been away will probably cover that.

He'll NEVER see her again if they both go to prison. But she could visit him if only he was in prison. She could date getbiggers too, which craig wouldn't like.

Titus will get 2nd degree manslaughter and Ryan will get 2nd degree murder. Titus gets 12 years and is out in 2013. Ryan gets 18 years and is out in 2018.

Would I take the rap for my girl? Depends on the girl I suppose.

So in a blind panic they duct taped her mouth, tasered her numerous times, injected her with lethal amounts of narcotics, dug up an accomplice, and took their car out into the desert for a botched case of arson.

That's more than a moment of panic. There's so many crimes just in that that they'll be sitting in jail for years & years.

Even if by some fluke the judge tosses their confessions, of which there are two from different police departments, the state also has the testimony of their friends who they gave the taser too. Their testimony is brutal.. They'll fry just from that. Craig & Kelly told them all the nasty details.

Add in the testimony of the accomplice, who has already cut his deal, and the Titus' are toast.
