I agree he was on at the 95 Olympia, I think that was his best conditioning  of his entire career, and yes he did own everyone that day.  BUT...of his Olympia wins, there is NO WAY IN HELL he should've won either 94 or 97, no matter how much you wanna argue that.  I was at the 97 Olympia, I didn't talk to one person that night who thought dorian was the winner

The judging criteria isn't largely ' politics ' its a set mandate on what judges look for in each pose and that criteria is muscular bulk , balanced development , muscle density , muscle dryness , posing & presentation and FYI all rounds are physique rounds meaning ALL of that criteria is applied at every single moment and while some guys may meet part of that criteria better it doesn't matter because its the one who meets MOST of that criteria who wins and that is Dorian Yates

While I normally agree with you on your assessments ND, can't help but think of your first sentence and then think of the 1980,1981,2007 Mr. Olympia's and think of how much politics DID play a LARGE factor in the outcome of those said years..
